"Lucid: Excellent Design, Strong Security, and Outstanding Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Besides the friendly user experience and excellent design of Lucidchart and Lucidspark, which I actively use, Lucid provides outstanding customer support and demonstrates a strong commitment to security.

I am satisfied with the platform's performance, flexibility, and wide variety of tools. Lucid also offers all the integrations I need, including Microsoft and Atlassian integrations, which are particularly valuable for my work.

The AI-powered visualization feature has not worked very well for me so far. However, this may be due in part to my prompts and expectations not being fully aligned. I believe I may need to provide more detailed instructions to achieve better results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

Nothing much to add—Lucid app works great and it’s been satisfying my needs so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Diagramming with Intuitive UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I appreciate the real-time collaboration feature, which lets me work with peers and drop comments on architectural diagrams easily. The ability to set access privileges is also beneficial. The UI is seamless, providing the flexibility I need to customize diagrams without being constrained by rigid templates. I also like that Lucid offers a wide range of integrated service icons and diagram shapes, which simplifies the process of working with various cloud services' components. Although I haven't used it much, the AI summarization feature seems promising for giving short descriptions of diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite somewhat limiting for drawing low-level diagrams like sequence diagrams and class diagrams. I have to use another tool, PlanDMN, for those because Lucid doesn't support code-based diagram generation that allows for easy updates. Also, the initial setup asks a lot of personal questions, which felt cumbersome, as I needed to start working quickly. This could be streamlined by collecting this information gradually rather than upfront, making the user experience smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Lag-Free Collaboration for Fast Diagramming and Brainstorming"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

People on my team actually use it without asking for a tutorial. We mostly build process flows in Lucidchart and use Lucidspark for messy brainstorming during calls. Auto-alignment and snap-to-grid saves tedious cleanup using connectors, and multiple people on a board live with barely any lag, which makes reviews way quicker. Simply put, it does its job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The licensing model ain't my favorite aspect; paying full price for people who only tweak a couple shapes a month feels harsh. After a board gets crowded with complex workflows, browser performance slows a bit down and panning becomes choppy. The connector lines are also tricky to reroute cleanly among dense diagram clusters without manual fix of the elbows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform That Simplifies Process Mapping"
4/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is a user-friendly platform that made it easy for a new user like me to navigate, explore, and start using it successfully. The collaboration tools and visual layout also make it simple to organize ideas, map out processes, and work with others in real time. As a new hire at my company, I recently used Lucid, including its AI features, to map out our client implementation journey with the goal of shortening the process and establishing services for clients sooner. What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The training resources are useful; however, the interface can feel overwhelming when working on larger or more complex projects. Familiarity with all of the platform’s functions requires more in-depth experience and knowledge, which can take time to develop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class Collaboration and Clean UI for Network Diagrams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

For creating network diagrams on a team, Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the best tool I have used so far. I have tried 2 others and neither of them were as smooth with collaboration and update tracking as Lucid Chart. Additionally, the free version allows for the creation of 3 collaborative documents which is more than enough in most settings. The UI is very clean and easy to navigate, and creating quality diagrams is extremely simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I don't like how text cannot be locked to a specific object. You can lock text to the screen, along with an object, but you cannot lock text specifically to an object to then make them one item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Templates, Needs a Modern Builder"
4/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I have been using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for years for visual diagramming and charting. I find the vast library of diagramming templates and the official support for Salesforce reference diagram formats very useful. It's great knowing that reliable sources like Salesforce provide updated diagram templates on the platform, making it a trusted source for me. Additionally, the setup is easy to get started with, which I appreciate, and I don't have any complaints in that aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I think the actual diagramming builder has fallen behind other tools. While things like Whimsical don't have the vast library of content, the builder experience feels more modern than Lucid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple UI, Easy Integrations, and Great Workflows for Clearer Process Mapping"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I’m able to create brain charts and workflows for my products and processes, which helps me organize and map everything out more clearly. UIUX is simple to operate. Integrations are easy. Good performance. Pricing is affordable. Onboarding on tool is easy. AI is cool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The free tier feels a bit too limited, which makes it harder to fully use all the features. Also, the AI intelligence still seems too early to take into consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Diagramming with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite incredibly useful, especially for creating network diagrams that are understandable to non-technical audiences. The drag-and-drop interface is easy and quick, making diagram preparation much simpler. The icons are grouped in a logical way, and I love how I can use both technical and non-technical icons to enhance my documents. Additionally, the ability to export documents as PDFs is perfect for when I need to present to audiences without internet connectivity. Setting up Lucid was straightforward and worked smoothly right away. I would definitely recommend it, rating it a solid nine out of ten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I think it would be great if there were more integrations available. Our organization uses multiple SaaS products when delivering our services, and having more integrations with tools like AI from ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude would be really helpful. These sorts of integrations could allow for better communication and functionality within the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Lucidspark–Lucidchart Integration Makes Collaboration Fast and Engaging"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I like best is the seamless integration between Lucidspark and Lucidchart. It allows our team to transition instantly from messy, creative brainstorming sessions to highly structured, professional flowcharts. The real-time collaboration features, voting tools, and extensive template library make team alignment faster and much more engaging Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The pricing structure and licensing model can be quite rigid and expensive for smaller teams or growing businesses. It sometimes feels like you are forced into higher tiers just to get access to a few specific advanced features. Additionally, managing licenses for 'view-only' users versus active editors can occasionally become confusing for administrators Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
