It does what is claims and the people behind it are top-notch. Ashlea G. has been the best at carefully teaching us all that LOU could do then following up regularly when we went live. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** My least favorite part of LOU is the calendar view. It does not show the length of a job/task in the new or classic view nor does it give a designated time on those views. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use LOU for scheduling and POS. ### 2. All of the features make sense for the way we run our business. There are so many features that I know is going to help our business grow & be more efficient. I love that we don't need several software programs anymore. Everything can be done in Lou. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** The accounting side takes a bit of getting used to. It's very different from what we used before. The quick visibility I'm used to from our previous software takes more digging in Lou to find. Also, the training & focus for accounting seems like an afterthought. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lou is cutting down on our need for paper. We have better visibility on our service department. All employees have the ability to be more helpful in assisting customers by having access to as little or as much information as you want to allow. Lou is also helping us to better organize and keeping track of follow up work. ### 3. The inventory went so well this year using the Physical Count feature. We went from working on spreadsheets and multiple apps to now a small handful. We also liked that they offered onsite consulting so our team could meet our Account Manager in person and help guide us through the software. So big thank you to Ashlea Goldfinch for coming to Texas and showing us LOU. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** l dislike that it is missing a way to scan barcodes and it would be nice to be able to upload pictures when scanning barcodes. I think there needs to be more time for in-depth training before going live and after. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of having multiple software, and we can get support when we have an issue. ### 5. It would be helpful if we could be able to practice on demo versions of LOU web, the PAX machine, and the LOU mobile app. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping us properly track our inventory and it is helping us streamline our service department. It has allowed us to put in proper processes to operate efficiently. ### 7. We've only scratched the surface of what the program can do to help us. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** That my brain doesn't work the same way as the developer's. Sometimes understanding how it was designed to work can be a struggle and the onboarding was less than ideal. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to manage our customers, inventory, and to plan for what's upcoming. It also gives us a platform for our techs to be online with us and for all the reporting that our bookkeeper needs. ### 9. One of the best features of LOU is the kits, both static and dynamic. The kits can really save time on adding items to an invoice. The PAX station is also very useful as it cuts down on the time it takes to get customers in and out of the store when they are just purchasing small items. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** LOU does not really support accounting and getting the information between the two systems can be a bit of a challenge. LOU also still has some minor bugs that need to be worked out. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched to LOU because we needed a system to handle inventory. In the pool and spa industry, pools and spas do not get delivered to the customer on the day of purchase. Sales orders reserve inventory for customers, showing what is on hand, what is reserved, and what is available. We also sell pool packages, which kits make it really easy to add pool packages to a sales order without having to add 10+ individual items. ### 11. Before there was a lot of time spent calling stores, and gathering information about open orders. **What do you dislike about LOU powered by Evosus?** The point of sale system can be more user-friendly by allowing a quicker log-in process. The register is shared by all employees, and logging in and out between transactions takes too much time. **Recommendations to others considering LOU powered by Evosus:** The onboarding process is a very important set because it determines how LOU will look and operate for you business. Take your time and plan out how you want LOU to work with your customers, and employees. **What problems is LOU powered by Evosus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving our problem of incorrectly ordering inventory by having the ability to see what each location has on hand.
