What I like most about Looker Studio is that it is a free tool with a lot of versatility. It is easy to use and you can find a large number of courses and help on the Internet or YouTube. It is very simple to integrate it with Google products. I have been using it for many years, since it was Data Studio, and I am delighted.

What I like least is that for platforms external to Google, it is often necessary to have independent payment connectors. Customer support for Looker Studio from Google is minimal.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio allows you to bring clarity to the reporting of your website's results. It also allows you to display data in various forms (graphs, tables, KPIs...) and in a very visual way, facilitating interpretation and enabling you to make decisions accordingly.

Much easier and quicker to generate monthly reports for my clients. The report is also very professional. Looker Studio has some great templates that I have used as a start.

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The ease of use, it is really simple to connect a data source and start building very simple and useful tables and charts.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Loading times. Despite having improved significantly since the incorporation of Looker technology into the old Data Studio, if you build combined data sources (something essential if you want to perform some calculations), you will see that the loading time is heavily burdened.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is vital for teams to know the performance of ecommerce in their areas of impact. Looker allows you to tailor the context to the recipient's needs so that decision-making regarding data is quick and effective.

 ### 22. Excellent data visualisation tool, easy to use once you get the hang of it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio has a huge range of different data visualisation formats for you to pick and choose from. The WYSYWIG layout editor makes it really easy to create smart looking reports that are fully branded up.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The main downsides to it are that sometimes there are data caching issues. The data gets refreshed every 15 mins so sometimes when a chart / table has "data connection" problems there is no way to manully purge the cache. You just have to wait for it to re-fetch the data itself.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of insights data which gets pulled from different sources like Google Sheets, Analytics, APIs etc. Looker allows us to create a range of easy to use reports pulling data from a number of different sources all into once place.

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The way we are using it is to help show clients their assets that have run by asset type and its been the most successful for us.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The way it downloads as a pdf sometimes.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manually making client reports and giving a ton of time back to our teams

 ### 26. "Disappointing Experience for Performance Marketers"

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai P. | Performance Marketer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Unfortunately, as a performance marketer, I found Looker Studio to be quite limited in meeting my specific needs. While the interface is visually appealing and offers some customization options, it lacks the depth and functionality required for in-depth performance analysis. It falls short of providing the necessary features to track and optimize marketing campaigns effectively.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

What I dislike about Looker Studio is its limited ability to handle large datasets efficiently. When working with extensive data, the platform tends to slow down, which hampers productivity during critical hours. As a performance marketer, I often need to work with substantial amounts of data, and this performance limitation significantly impacts my workflow.

Another drawback I've encountered is the difficulty in blending data from different sources to build comprehensive graphs. Looker Studio has limitations in this aspect, making it challenging to create cohesive visualizations that incorporate data from various channels or platforms. This limitation restricts my ability to gain holistic insights and hampers my efforts in creating comprehensive reports.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a performance marketer, I rely heavily on detailed analytics and optimization capabilities to drive campaign success. Unfortunately, Looker Studio falls short in meeting these requirements. It lacks advanced features for tracking conversion funnels, conducting granular performance analysis, and implementing sophisticated attribution models. Without these essential functionalities, it becomes challenging to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing efforts effectively.

 ### 27. Fantastic visualization tool for marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucy T. | Owner & CEO, Furniture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

It integrates fantastically with all of our marketing platforms. We usually have trouble with setting up software that consolidates data from a few different tools but we didn't have to set up any custom data connections at all with Looker

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Some of our dashboards take a really long time to fully load. This especially causes problems when we're presenting or trying to show others our marketing KPIs.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Looker to consolidate data from our marketing tools. Without it, we'd either have to remember the data we get from each tool or manually bring them together or do similar inefficient things to be able to see all our data together. But with Looker, we easily set up our tools together and can monitor our KPIs with it. Very happy overall

 ### 28. A Useful Data Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subhani M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I find this tool easy-to-use for creating tables, maps, reports, and graphs. Even, it's easy to integrate with other Google platforms. What I like the most is that this data visualization tool comes at free of cost.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Sometimes I need to be more knowledgeable to use this tool. Dashboard takes time to update. It takes more time to load large sized data. When I create more complex reports, the tool gets slow and emerge with glitches also.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It plots the tables and charts quickly where other tools takes time. I can organize almost everything on my dashboard in interactive and easy way. When I need reports quickly, this tool helps me with fast data ingestion and report creation.

 ### 29. Reporting looks cool

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I like the way it displays data and visual charts which are colorful and also with proper data and the customizable part is the most impressive thing in the dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

I dislike some parts of customization which is for beginners it is hard to understand and need more guide while customizing for a beginner.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solved my problem of showing clients data in such a format that analyzing data made it so easy and because of beautiful visual charts, it made my dashboard more appealing in client calls.

 ### 31. Looker studio review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The ability to connect to different data sources
Merge data options
Visualisations of the data

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Whilst easy to set up initially with connections it can be very overwhelming for a beginner when trying to turn the data into something meaningful

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filter out the stories I went to see or review which saves me having to find it at the original source of the data

 ### 32. Best Analytics tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akhil A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Data can be easily navigated without extensive knowledge of tech. The interactive dashboard can be made within minutes. Very easy to build data models, I am a big fan of its data security capability. You can give access permission to selected people which avoids data breaches within and outside the organization.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It starts lagging when the data is too large. If the data source table has an issue, then the looker studio's visualization is also impacted, and one important thing is Pricing it's costly to construct the dashboard on looker studio.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our organization the management & strategy team has to see the clicks, impressions, buyer engagement data on a daily basis so with the help of looker studio we can see the GMV impact in our organization on a daily basis.

 ### 33. Great visuals but complicated to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna C. | Order Opener, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I love how it looks to my team once all data is entered. It's end user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Looker has a lot of different definitions for their data sources, that make the creation a bit difficult.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to visualize our teams level of effort, state guidelines and client status.

 ### 34. I hate Looker Studio. Hate it, hate it, hate it.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

It seems to have the potential of being useful. This potential isn't easily realized, but it's there.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It is incredibly complex and difficult to use. I get thwarted at every step when I'm trying to create reports. I am a power user of Excel and can generally pick up software very easily. Looker Studio is completely unintuitive. Every single thing is a challenge-- adding data sources, adding new calculated fields, and —god forbid— blending data. I rarely come away from a session of making or editing reports in Looker Studio where I'm not screaming in frustration. It is simply one of the worst business tools I have ever used. Free and worth actually less than that somehow.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's theoretically helping us pull monthly reports.

 ### 35. Best free data visialisation tool

**Reviewed by:** Jeroen D. | Senior Online Marketeer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

 ### 36. Excellent web based application for free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

What I like the most about Looker Studio is the ease of use and the Google connectors that are already available to connect your data from Google Sheets to this solution. After the connection is done, the rest is easy so you can create your own boards with different types of graphs, and customize them with the colors of your company, for example.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

I wish Looker Studio could connect to PostgreSQL databases with SSH or VPN connections

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way to show insights based on data, and processing tons of data and cross them with other data sets so you can have as an outcome easy to digest information for high level reports or detailed reports.

 ### 37. Looker Studio Overview

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduberto K. | Diretor de operações, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Ease of creating data visualization, friendly interface, native connectors for those using Google platforms, quick access and free use through gmail.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Crossing data through the blend is an important internal feature, but it often doesn't work very well and the data often breaks.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio helps me control and visualize internal data and campaigns carried out on multiple digital marketing platforms, facilitating quick vision for accurate control.

 ### 38. Ecellent Experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The interface is very easy to learn as well as versatile, which gives us options to select a vast selection of fonts and colors. There are various options of visual presentation of data and it can easily refresh data from different sources!

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Sometimes it gets slow with large data as well as working for lengthier hours.Building graphs from scratch is difficult as it has some limitation in blending data from different sources.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

this Studio is great for creating simple graphs out of larger datasets that are continuously being updated. there are formula functions to help with manipulating data and get the data that users need, even though it can be difficult and time-consuming for beginners, but with experience this platform could be of great help.

 ### 39. Looker Studio Positive Feedback

If we add data from 2 source then the looker studio doesnt work and sometimes the load time is high

Analysing Data and ending up in final conclusion what we want to do in future according to the results

 ### 40. Very easly to use platform

 ### 41. Good for visualizing data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie E. | Digital Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker Studio is a helpful tool for visualizing data and highlighting important data points. It has a smaller learning curve and is more streamlined than some other data visualization software like Tableau.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

I have no dislikes about Looker Studio at this time.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker Studio solves our problem of needing a lower lift, less effort method of presenting and sharing data so that multiple stakeholders can benefit. The ease of access solves some of our problems regarding accessibility.

 ### 42. Easy to use data visualization tool that can be used to show trends and anomalies to stakeholders!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine G. | Manager, Web Experience | Marketing & Brand Management Office, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The variety of visualizations is incredible, I often will look at a certain metric or dimension with several different charts to fully understand what the story is with the data and how it could be combined with other metrics. The ability to schedule automated reports has also been a huge help in spreading knowledge about our web properties amongst my Digital Marketing team.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

The quota limits that recently were brought in will unfortunately force many users to leave Looker. I do also love seeing templates and ways that others have used Looker Studio dashboards for a variety of industries - having a "show room" or training would be a great way to get suers excited about what's possible!

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything from a high-level veiew of our web traffic to the goals and conversions established in GA. My department also combined web data with the cost associated with paid media, this is extremely helpful to be able to pair GA data with other sources. My biggest takeaway that I get out of Looker that can't be shown in GA is creating YOY charts that go several years back, monitoring performance on certain page and certain events across our web products.

 ### 43. Very functional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliana R. | Head de Mídia On, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

The possibility of gathering various data in one place and being able to cross-reference them is the best part.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Limitation of some data cross-references. And the lack of clarity in the formulas.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

He pulls the data in real-time which helps the client visualize the data more quickly.

 ### 44. All your Google data in one place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ouali B. | CEO & Founder, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Having a simple dashboard to see data in a panel that makes it easy to understand and take decisions.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Maybe being able to connect more data Sources, but it's free and pretty much give you a complete view of you google data.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

both for us internally and for our clients, we get to create for free multiple data visualization panels and boards that help read better the data, understand and make decisions.

 ### 45. Easy dashboard sharing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

It's simple and straightforwad. It's intuitive, which makes it easy for anyone in your team to build the reports they need.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It's limited. You can build basic dashboards, but you can't incorporate data from different sources at the same time.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a shared dashboard so we all can see important data from all teams.

 ### 46. All-in-one solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan O. | BI Analyst, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I'm not entirely sure if all visualization tools have additional costs, but I can confirm that this is one of the best. It is very accessible, and has many connectors and integrated graphs that allow you to visualize your data very well..

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Something I don't like very much is that there isn't really very active support when problems occur with the platform, and that's wrong considering that today there is a large community that makes use of this tool.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has become our daily life since we see all the data there...

 ### 47. Essential

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

It is very helpful in everyday work. I use it frequently. Easy to navigate and best in class. It also has numerous features which are helpful in cloud platforms. Best integration

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

None as of now. I didn't find any difficulty with it.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I pull a lot of data from Looker on a daily basis. It stores loads of data which is beneficial using SQL

 ### 48. Looker effortlessly streamlines dashboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

Looker makes building ad-hoc dashboards effortless - once a template is made, it's as easy as plug and play to get client-ready dashboards ready to send over. Versus competitors like Whatagraph, Looker is a thousand times more advanced.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

Looker has a tendency to bury features behind obscure solutions - often the solution to any issue is possible within Looker, but requires a hunt to locate. Additionally, the way looker handles tables could be improved by allowing stacked dimensions akin to a pivot table, instead of having multiple columns dedicated to displaying the same data repetively.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker solves the issue of getting client-ready campaign reporting done quickly, with the ability to automatically refresh, and copy from a template that ensures that each campaign's dashboard set-up is as quick and effortless as possible.

 ### 49. Best Data Visualization Platform

Looker Studio is quite expensive, especially for large organizations or those with high data usage.
The platform can be sometimes complex to navigate and understand, especially for those without a strong background in data analytics or programming.

 ### 50. Very agile tool to connect and chart data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Data Studio?**

I love how you can connect it to so many different tools. We have a couple tools that are getting really old now, and most of our other new software can't integrate with them, but thanks to Looker, we can get our data from them no problem.

**What do you dislike about Data Studio?**

It crashes often. You have to go in and re-map the charts everytime the data source changes up a bit. I thing the integrations could be improved to eliminate this a bit.

**What problems is Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looker has helped us connect our data from a dozen sources and be able to create charts and tables with it. Thanks to it, we don't have to look at separate bits of data from separate tools, but we can consolidate everything in one dashboard and monitor our metrics easile and more thoroughly. I think it has the potential to become a truly valuable asset for any business that has improtant data spread out over different platforms
