LobbyStack Reviews & Product Details

LobbyStack is the open-source AI receptionist for calls, messages, and appointments. Built for small businesses, it answers phone calls, manages website chat and SMS conversations, books and changes appointments, and transfers calls to a person when needed — so you never miss a caller because no one was available to pick up. LobbyStack is made for clinics and dental offices, salons and spas, auto repair shops, home service companies, restaurants, law firms, and other local businesses that lose revenue when the phone goes unanswered. Key capabilities: • AI phone receptionist — a natural voice agent trained on your business answers common questions, collects caller details, takes messages, qualifies requests, and offers appointment slots. • Calls and messages in one place — review calls, SMS threads, website chat, transcripts, recordings, and customer details from a single dashboard. • Appointment scheduling — connect Google Calendar, check availability, book appointments, and let callers reschedule or cancel on a later call. • Knowledge base — import your website and upload services, pricing, hours, policies, and FAQs so the AI answers accurately and consistently. • Human handoff — transfer a live call, take a message, or notify your team by SMS or email when a person should step in. • Website widget — embed chat, lead capture, and browser calls directly on your site. • Usage and billing — hosted plans with voice usage, alerts, storage, and spending caps. Open source and self-hostable: run LobbyStack Cloud as a managed service, or self-host the same core on your own infrastructure with your own Twilio, OpenAI-compatible AI, calendar, and email credentials. Built on Next.js, PostgreSQL, Twilio, and OpenAI Realtime.
