# Which database DevOps software provides visual change tracking and complete audit trails for compliance and regulatory requirements?

Worth flagging that DbVisualizer&#39;s own description here only answers half of what this question is asking. It&#39;s positioned purely as a visual client for inspecting schema and changes, with no audit-trail or SOX/GDPR claim attached to it at all, unlike DBmaestro and SQL Toolbelt which explicitly claim that ground. That doesn&#39;t rule it out, but it does mean DbVisualizer is probably better evaluated as a visualization layer to pair alongside something that actually generates the compliance-grade audit trail, rather than as a standalone answer to a question that&#39;s specifically about regulatory requirements, not just visual inspection.
