What do you like best about LoadMaster?

I love how McLeod LoadMaster incorporates everything you need to be successful in the transportation industry in one location. It also networks seamlessly with almost every other vendor we use such as tracking with MacroPoint or Four Kites. We also incorporated our new CRM with Kizen into LoadMaster and it works fantastic. Also, if there is not a feature that is currently available on LoadMaster, and you want it, all you have to do is tell them and they will design it for you! They will handle the coding all the way to the implementation. McLeod is truly a fantastic company and LoadMaster is the best TMS available on the market today. I have been in trucking for almost 25 years and this is by far the best TMS solution that I have ever worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LoadMaster?

Honestly, there is not much about LoadMaster by McLeod that I dislike. I guess it could be a little more polished so it doesn't look like a spreadsheet. That would be my only dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LoadMaster solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use LoadMaster by McLeod for everything in our business. We use it to rate, route and dispatch our loads. We use it for billing and accounting. Its record-keeping and reporting features are second to none. It makes sure we only use the best carriers and ones that are DOT compliant. It helps us to ensure we don't use a carrier that is not legal since it polls RMIS and DOT websites in real-time. What do you like best about LoadMaster?

I like the reporting ability that allows me to access certain information by setting parameters and then exporting that data to Excel or another useful layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LoadMaster?

I dislike the integration overall and that you must access different menu items separately- for example, even though an employee has a unit number assigned to them, the employee file does not directly have access to this info. Instead, you must look up the unit number separately- you cannot view this info from the employee file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LoadMaster:

It is great for the trucking/transportation industry in general but could definitely use some upgrades/improvements to make it more user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LoadMaster?

We use a local server data base and it just keeps up with our mid-sized company needs. We would like to upgrade and add more functionality, but products and services are pricey and it is hard to make the leap to update to new versions or add additional users. What problems is LoadMaster solving and how is that benefiting you?

Minimizing paper and having digital copies linked to our orders allows us to be more efficient. McLeod can customize forms and create add ins to suit specific needs. Just beware they charge premium for the services. McLeod was above par when helping us rebuild a database and recover images that were lost due to hardware failure. I walk into the office every day something what is going to break next. Terrible technology, terrible innovation, terrible project management and support. Not to mention they nickle and dime you for everything they possibly can. Oh, and they recently got hacked. Thank goodness we weren't using their hosted solution.
