The UI is a little outdated looking, but I personally like this. We are on a hosted setup, which can be pricey, but the performance is much better since we do not run in house. **What do you dislike about LoadMaster?** The price is a little high for the hosted environment, however it makes it significantly easier to onboard with the team since we did not have to host the software. There are really no built in Artificial Intelligence features unless you get with 3rd party vendors. **What problems is LoadMaster solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loadmaster helps us integrate with the many new forms of technology that are entering the industry. There are many AI tools that Loadmaster integrates and it makes it futureproof so that we can stick with the same solution for years. I use ot every day in my work because its the company software. You can do everything with it! It integrates your GPS tools so you can track very easy all your loads. Its very easy to implementate, you can use a remote PC to do it or just download the software, log in and you start to work. When the program is a little bit slow or it just not working you can contact the customer support and it will be solve in a snap. It also networks seamlessly with almost every other vendor we use such as tracking with MacroPoint or Four Kites. We also incorporated our new CRM with Kizen into LoadMaster and it works fantastic. Also, if there is not a feature that is currently available on LoadMaster, and you want it, all you have to do is tell them and they will design it for you! They will handle the coding all the way to the implementation. McLeod is truly a fantastic company and LoadMaster is the best TMS available on the market today. I have been in trucking for almost 25 years and this is by far the best TMS solution that I have ever worked with. **What do you dislike about LoadMaster?** Honestly, there is not much about LoadMaster by McLeod that I dislike. I guess it could be a little more polished so it doesn't look like a spreadsheet. That would be my only dislike. **Recommendations to others considering LoadMaster:** Take the chance and use it. You are going to love it! It makes me more efficient and more productive. Whether you are asset-based, brokers, or LTL companies, it will help you make more money. **What problems is LoadMaster solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use LoadMaster by McLeod for everything in our business. We use it to rate, route and dispatch our loads. We use it for billing and accounting. Its record-keeping and reporting features are second to none. It makes sure we only use the best carriers and ones that are DOT compliant. It helps us to ensure we don't use a carrier that is not legal since it polls RMIS and DOT websites in real-time. You almost afford not to use LoadMAster by McLeod if you are in the transportation industry. ### 29. Terrible technology, terrible innovation, terrible project management and support. Not to mention they nickle and dime you for everything they possibly can. Oh, and they recently got hacked. The field Marshall tool is great. **What do you dislike about LoadMaster?** The visuals look super old. The dashboards look worse than windows 93. The system moves slow. It is not web based. Difficulty pulling some data. No way to do a debit / credit memo. It is impossible to adjust the invoice without using McLeod. We have a few businesses we run through LoadMaster and need to adjust these ourselves. Using the slow and I mean slow support of McLeod makes our team wish to look elsewhere. We are currently reviewing our TMS strategy and are getting bids from other companies due to to some of our internal frustration. Our operations team seems to be satisfied enough with the system. But, we really need further flexibility to ease our use and ability to change things on the fly. **Recommendations to others considering LoadMaster:** Use the full functionality of McLeod. Integrate the CRM and pricing tools. It is necessary and required. **What problems is LoadMaster solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have interfaced LoadMaster with PeopleSoft. The integration is terrible and we are not sure which system to trust. This decision was made by our CIO which was a terrible decision. However, we are able to move more freight. We have visibility on all of our loads. ### 39. As soon as I began getting used to it, it because very easy to navigate also. It is also web based which is a plus. **What do you dislike about LoadMaster?** For us, the speed of maneuvering is a little slow at times. We have also had some issues with down time. It also isn't really user friendly for new users. I haven't been able to track the loads as well yet. **Recommendations to others considering LoadMaster:** You will want to have an extensive training because there is so much that can be done with LoadMaster. The more you know, the better you can use it.
