## About LiMon
LiMon is a self-hosted alternative to OpenLM and Flexera FlexNet Manager for teams that just need to monitor engineering license servers — without an enterprise ITAM rollout. It tracks usage across FlexLM, RLM, LM-X, and DSLS from a single on-prem appliance: utilization over time, denials, peak concurrency, and renewal- and audit-ready reports. Where lmstat only shows the current state, LiMon keeps the historical record so you can prove what actually got used before a renewal or audit. Installs via Docker, DEB, or RPM in about 15 minutes. Runs fully air-gapped — no agents on any machine, no cloud dependency, no phone-home — which suits security-sensitive and defense-adjacent environments. Pricing is flat and public: a perpetual platform license with an optional annual maintenance for intelligence reports,, AD/LDAP, updates and support.
