Base caters to power users and enterprise requirements, providing native-support drivers for some of the most widely employed multi-user database engines: MySQL/MariaDB, Adabas D, MS Access and PostgreSQL. It is therefore WORTHLESS. All but the most childlike of functionality is closed to it. If you want a functioning alternative to MS Access, look elsewhere. **What problems is LibreOffice Base solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. I'd be better off using paper. ### 2. At first, it was a bit difficult to use because I was used to the Microsoft version. Yes, some options are hidden - like copy/paste data from base ...Keep in mind that LibreBase is part of LibreOffice ecosystem and it works in synergy with other parts of LibreOffice suite... And it works very good. **What do you dislike about LibreOffice Base?** It is hard to dislike something which is free... If it is powerful as LibreBase it is even harder. And supports compatibility with Access. Like other openoffice or libre suites the ui is gtk based. And is fairly easy to navigate especially if you are used to writer or calc. **What do you dislike about LibreOffice Base?** I wanted it to support other open source db directly such as SQLite so that you can whip up sample webapps while editing directly from the Base.
