I am a 7th grade social studies teacher who is building a business supporting schools. I was able to get all the tools I needed and excellent support when I was stuck. It did take me some time to learn the system but the support tools are very helpful - first, they have a self guided "class" that consists of short videos about how to get started. Second, whenever I hit a snag a simple search of "Learnworlds how to..." almost always led to a helpful, current article about the topic. Finally, when I needed to reach out to customer support a real person was very helpful in guiding me. Beyond that, Learn Worlds has tools and features I didn't know I needed. Since they have been in the business of providing paid courses it was very helpful to plug into their system without having to figure out how to do things myself (e.g. signup, payment, course creation, welcome emails, invoices, etc). My course looks better than I would have expected! One of my favorite features is the ability to add text and features to video content. So, instead of me just droning on I am able to add my log, text to support my ideas, and check-up breaks to get the user engaged and thinking about the content. I would say the experience of building my own business is much more complicated than I expected. So, this has taken me a large investment in time. But, I don't see this as Learn Worlds' issue. Learn Worlds has actually guided me in all of the steps to creating my online business. Everything requires a call back, which isn't a callback but an email asking when you can take a call. I've been trying to resolve a payment issue for the last two months, and it's still not resolved. Simple issues should not be this time consuming. Learnworlds customer service is just a bunch of glorified call routers. They can't fix anything. Angeliki is incredible. I had signed up for a trial period and created two different schools. I didn't realize that when I purchased a subscription that it only applied to one of the schools and the other would be deleted. This was a problem because the deleted school is the one I actually really needed! Although it was my own fault, Angeliki reached out ot the dev team and got the importat school recovered and reinstated, and they transferred my subscription. If i were to point out one thing, it would be nice have the ability to channel communication to learners through a communication platform of choice, instead of being limited to platforms that they partner with. If this could be done through webhooks that would be awesome. and if it was possible to parse the information you have in Learnworlds like linking to a certain course or similar.
