The style and format are easy to use, and the best part is I can make edits in-house. I also appreciate that the customer team is very friendly. Moreover, I preferred Learning Pool over the previous product because it has a more modern look and feel. The initial setup was pretty easy too. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** They've recently announced plans to move to a new platform for hosting the courses, so we're a bit apprehensive about how this will work as it sounds like we'll need to rebuild our courses. We use Adapt and receive licenses as part of our contract with Learning Pool. It is through Adapt that we are able to edit our courses, but this is also the platform Learning Pool will be moving away from. **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Learning Pool - Platform offers off-the-shelf content that we can tailor with our branding and policies. If we have a problem with Adapt or our LMS, we can call and receive instant support to resolve any issues or questions we may have. We've got a good relationship with our account manager Martine and previous AM Brian. We have worked closely with Maeve (huge shout out) to really take our current LMS to the next level, improving our UX for our leaners and reporting functionality for our senior leaders. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** I can't say there is anything that we dislike about Learning Pool. Previously, we didn't have much in the way of communications from our account manager, but this relationship has been hugely improved with new account managers and we get regular updates, catch ups and site audits to ensure we're getting the most from our platform and the LP offering. **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since I've joined the business, I've noticed that it has since been a real challenge to get learners completing their mandatory compliance modules, and very difficult for senior leaders to get access to data in order to back this up. This has been resolved through training workshops and 1 to 1 support, as well as new ways of delivering engaging content built directly into the platform. ### 4. We have complete control over who sees what and this is incredibly important. Learning Pool's customer support helps take away the common "password reset" types of queries from us, and we find that our learners keep coming back to the platform. The LMS is capable of being very easy to use, as long as you put the time in to set it up properly. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** Being built on Moodle and Totara, the experience feels a little dated, and the user experience suffers sometimes as a result. You often have to work very very hard from an administrative/design perspective to achieve what you want. It also doesn't integrate very well with our other systems, and we found the implementation process to be a bit rocky, where we were promised things during the sales process that it then turned out the LMS couldn't do. **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a reliable platform that our learners can trust is making a big difference in our organisation. Reporting within the LMS is very powerful, and there are a number of tools giving visibility of a team's performance for our managers, and this works really well. The induction programs we have created within the LMS have received very good feedback, although development of these programs was a touch repetitive! All in all, the LMS is solving a business need, and has proven itself to be reliable and trustworthy. We just wish there was a bit more investment in the system, as it seems a lot of resource has been allocated to the LXP, and we're in danger of being left behind. ### 5. It has help[ed us to create award winning blended learning offerings to our clients that consistently get incredibly high satisfaction ratings from our participants. Having reviewed many other providers the key difference is the interactivity between the participants on the course, creating social learning. This is a crucial reason why we remain with LP over other LMS providers. The customer support team for technical issues are incredibly responsive, often response received within the same day. We are however exploring LXP which is a significant step change and overcomes this challenge, though I do still think LP should invest in the LMS too. Learning pool was the only option for us. The implementation was quick, the team were excellent on the project side. The integration into our business was seamless and its now a huge part of our everyday organisation. I love the team at learning pool - they are all supportive and helped us achieve the goal of launching our training platform quickly, efficiently and successfully. I like the dyamic ruleset functions for groups, it’s much easier to customise and assign members to multiple groups and much clearer who gets what learning and why **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** The LXP isn’t a central point of call that controls all elements eg deleting or suspending a user doesn’t stop emails going to their account Analytics has a lot of potential but there’s lots of filters and tweaking involved to get the right data which gives a lack of trust in the data. And great to see Learning Pool has and is integrating AI to its platforms. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** We have had some significant issues in the past with the LMS not communicating correctly with the LRS. While Learning Pool has put good measures in place to prevent this from happening again, we cannot help but feel a bit 'nervous'—there is always a concern that the system is a bit fragile and this could happen again. Both we and our LMS users frequently encounter the 'LRS not available' message, which is understandably frustrating for them. We check the platform, and most of the time, there is no issue, but this means their learning is not being recorded, or they cannot proceed, and they have to redo the learning. We sometimes receive the same message ourselves, despite having a good Wi-Fi connection. We usually tell users, as per Learning Pool’s advice, that their Wi-Fi connection may be the root cause, but this 'LRS not available' message should not appear so often, if at all. **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We provide a comprehensive eLearning suite to a wide range of Programme Partners and we are able to report on it both internally and externally. I joined my company 1.5 months ago, after a few years in the industry using more LXP style LMS platforms and In this time I've recieved support from Learning Pool in getting me up to speed with the product. It's currently difficult for me to comment on functionality, however the responsiveness from the technical team and direct support has been great for me. I've spoken directly with Paddy McGuiness a few times and after my first interaction he gave me his direct email to query anything that I was finding sticky. I also love the deep dive sessions via the Academy. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** I find the LMS not to be as user friendly as previous platforms I have used. Our renewal is next year and I'm looking forward to trialling the LXP as from the offset it seems far more streamlined and accessible as a first time user that needs to be able to hit the ground running from an administrative POV. The platform is really flexible and we’ve been able to take it far beyond a standard LMS. With support from the Learning Pool team, we’ve adapted it to record firefighter competencies for risk-critical training and then extract the data to create reports that support performance and assurance. It’s not something we’ve seen achieved elsewhere, and it’s made a real difference to how we manage and track learning across the organisation. The platform is reliable, adaptable, and the team at Learning Pool have been great to work with throughout. I have asked whether a few different features would become available and have been told that they are upcoming. We have a meeting with our Account Manager every quarter to go over what's going well and what we need assistance with and they let us know of what's new with LP and what to keep our eyes peeled for inc. new features, events, webinars etc. The Support Desk are available all the time when you need them for any help with your account and site, and they are always quick to solve the situation and keep you updated with their progress. The site we have is super user friendly and has recently had a colour scheme change to match coporate colours thanks to LP! As an administrator, I love the ease of creating course pages and editing them to match our themes. Everything is so user-friendly for both 'students' and myself as the administrator. I also love the range of catalogues and collections available, eith constant updates and new versions. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** There isn't anything that I dislike about Learning Pool, nothing I can mention as a negative point, fault or flaw. Of course pricing is always on everyone's list as everyone in the world wants the best product for the littlest price. But even then I think the price for the service, products and support received is good! Their course catalogues always contain up-to-date information that can be edited to be made more personal to your organisation and they always meet current topics of awareness too. For example, the ED&I catalogue is full of all 'newer' content of things that are more relevant now than they have been and although it's a catalogue that we don't own (yet, hopefully!), the topics are brilliant and current. ### 50.
