# How do you handle limited admin features and dashboards in Learning Pool - Platform?

We have found Learning Pool - Platform to be very reliable with no downtime, and it has reduced admin time by moving face to face booking and course completions into a more autonomous flow. The main challenge is that not all Totara and admin features seem available, and the reporting dashboards feel limited even though manager reporting can be dynamic. How are others working around these admin and dashboard limitations while still meeting reporting needs?

Hi Nicholas. We have been using this product since late October 2025. Agree on the reporting point. We have been able to slice and dice the out of the box analytics dashboards enough to get by with reporting up to now, but have ambitions of doing a lot more. Analytics seems like it can do loads, but we just haven't had the time to get close enough to it (small team with a backlog of digital content to develop). Biggest gap we have found admin wise is around the new events management within the system, but I see they are addressing some of that in the next few months based on their roadmap. What gaps are you seeing specifically? Maybe it is something we have already encountered.
