When doing the homework of password managers, it's critically important to ensure security was at the forefront. The last two standing from all of the providers was BitWarden and LastPass. I chose LastPass since it was very simple to sign up for their Family Plan. I'm truly glad I decided to utilize LastPass as my password manager. It's been incredibly convenient. There have been a few minor quirks here and there but the product is great overall. Love the ability to customize the password with requirements. I would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a family plan. Having the right password manager in today's world is a must, and I'm happy with my decision on choosing LastPass. **What do you dislike about LastPass?** Overall, I don't have any dislikes but there have been a few minor glitches or quirks here and there. It was simple to install, and very easy to implement. Their Customer Support team is very helpful should you need them. I use LastPass daily and it is completely integrated into my system. It has multiple features available.I strongly recommend checking them all out. **What do you dislike about LastPass?** I simply do not like the fact that there is no way to recover your password should it be lost. There are a wide range of features that can be customized at the company/IT and user level to promote secure password generation and sharing within our organization. The price is competitive for size org and is easy to integrate to all the various browsers our team uses. **What do you dislike about LastPass?** The extension has been known to interfere with our HRIS causing the vendor's portal not to display correctly. LastPass doesn't always remember or copy the secure password it generated or may miss the notifcation of a password change and not prompt to update the correct Vault item. **What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can store all of our company passwords in one place and limit who has access to them and who has permissions to change/write those logins. Even if an employee is no longer with the organization, our IT dept can lock LastPass for that terminated employee without losing valuable login data to share with other users. ### 45. From there you get prompts to add passwords when they're not in the system I also like that it generates any type of password at any length with different qualifications and it recognizes if you use the same password too many times. I use this thing every single day proably many times a day. It works on every single website for the most part and works well on both your computer as well as your phone. I like that you can access your passwords offline probably the most, but this is because it's helpful on planes when connecting to the internet to access credit card info. **What do you dislike about LastPass?** Sometimes the popup that automatically comes up on websites tends to linger and block off parts of the website that you need to see or click on and cannot without disabling the add-on and then re-enabling after. This feels like a glitch but it's a very very small issue among hundreds of positives. **What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lastpass solves the problem of managing your passwords in a secure location as well as any other information you would like to save. I love that it adds a notes feature and multiple layouts of things you can save because there is all sorts of personal information a person needs to have handy but wants to save in a safe place. It's also very easy to have everything connected between multiple laptops and your phone because of the browser extensions and phone apps. **What do you dislike about LastPass?** It would be helpful if it could auto populate when using your phone, instead of having to go back to the app. But I know that is a far reach, and most likely impossible. Other than that, I have no complaints **What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?** I, like most people, am notorious of using the same username/password combo for various websites and accounts. I would use the same combos for important things like bank accounts and emails. I had a few incidents of getting hacked (online shopping and food apps) that made me turn to a different solution. It makes me more efficient and prevents my users from writing them down on paper, sticky notes or worse. Customer support and training were excellent too! **What do you dislike about LastPass?** There are a couple things that LastPass needs to improve upon. 1. The logo sometimes gets in the way when filling out forms 2. It sometimes tries to fill out "new user" forms that I'm doing for my employees with my information. 3. It still gets a little confused on complex URLs Honestly though, these are not huge issues for us. **What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?** Maintaining an ever growing list of passwords that have to be remembered. Administrator interface sometimes goes wonky when resetting or transferring user. User's being signed out can sometimes cause confusion. Password resets and MFA can sometimes cause end user headaches. **What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a better company wide password manager.
