**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I only need one password to keep all of my other passwords secure.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

There is nothing I particularly dislike.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have different passwords for all my sites and systems and they are complex passwords, safely stored with just one master password. It's really useful that I can share access with others, and they can share with me, without being able to see the password

password sharing among company people and SSO login to apps

  ### 4. Easy Team & Client Password Sharing

  ### 5. Lastpass for business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin A. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Lastpass with SSO is very useful and a powerful tool,
The SSO intergration provides security and peice of mind and makes it simple for users to use without the need to remember long complex master passwords,

I yuse lastpass every day and whilst there are nicer systems, there is noting that is as simple to use, as other platforms still require a master password, Lastpass uses the browser and Azure tokens for encryption.decryption so no password is needed by the end user.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

SSO is a pain in the ass to setup, guides are long and complex, but worth it in the end.

when saving TOPT MFA tokens you have to save this before any other screen, sometimes, i save the MFA token then the browser asks my to update the password and in doing so it removes the mfa token.

also credit cards don't load into sites correctly

would be nice if lastpass made clear what is and is not encrypted, (URL's are apparently unencrypted, but everything else is supposed to be)

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every site should have SSO to an IDP (Identity Provider) of your choice, e.g. Microsoft or Google, thus eliminating passwords, but SSO usually comes with added cost or is not available.

Lastpass allows the following
A 1 stop shop for storing passwords securly
An easy way to share securly passwords for an account with users or group of users
Confidance that passwords are not being reused, weak, or comprimised via the security portal.

  ### 6. Constant Updates, Ease of Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gian Luca F.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I like the continuous updates that are provided to keep the application always at the top. I think LastPass already works particularly well. Once you understand the management of folders and more, it is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The management of shared folders with users outside the organization does not work well.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LastPass to keep all users updated with the company portals, and I appreciate the continuous updates that keep the app at the top.

  ### 7. Simple, Secure Password Management That Saves Time and Stress

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The user interface is simple to navigate. The software is easy to use, even on tablets and phones. I like the fact that you can control the level of security for each password. Saves me a whole bunch of time logging in to the cc sites and apps that I most often use

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Sometimes, when entering tour master password, the windows to do so times out a little to quickly for some sessions.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to remember my passwords across all platforms.
Greater security than writing them down and keeping them on paper.
Much more security than other password keeping platforms.

  ### 8. LastPass is great for the personal and the business environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth W. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The LastPass Business plan provides a secure and efficient way to manage and share passwords across our organization. Here are some key benefits:

Controlled Password Sharing:
Passwords can be shared with the correct individuals in a secure and organized manner. We have full control over who can access which shared passwords.

Group-Based Access:
Users can be assigned to groups based on their role or department. Once access rules are set, managing permissions is simple — just add or remove users from the appropriate group.

Simplified User Management:
This group-based model makes it much easier to onboard or offboard users from shared credentials quickly and securely.

Personal Vault Integration:
Users can link their personal LastPass account to their business account. This allows them to store personal credentials separately, while still having access through the same interface. Even when logged into the business account, LastPass can autofill credentials saved in the personal vault.

Admin Recovery Options:
Account administrators can reset a user’s master password without wiping their stored vault data — a major benefit in recovery scenarios.

Seamless Offboarding:
When an employee leaves, their account and saved business credentials can be transferred to their supervisor, maintaining access continuity.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Sometimes it is slow to pull up the vault.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many sites that people need to access. This software allows us to use stronger passwords. It also allows us to share common username/password and when they change, everyone just keeps working.

  ### 9. Mark's :LastPass review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The simplicity of integrating and using Lastpass.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Need to license individual users. Also not being able to allow external users the ability to update passwords in the vault.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a secure way to store and share passwords.

  ### 10. Effortless Password Management for Enhanced Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian T. | IT SysAdmin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I appreciate being able to save my passwords, which allows me to use more secure and complex ones.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

In certain situations, it doesn't work smoothly with Google's auto-insert password feature.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the requirement to use strong, complex passwords.

  ### 11. Easy to Use and Great for Sharing Passwords

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

  ### 12. Easy Chrome Integration and Strong Security, but Pricey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B. | Information Technology Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Ease of use linking it right into chrome, also the security features behind it.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Pricing in my opinion is a little high however the security side of it is worth the price.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone in the IT buisness keeping up with all the passwords you need to keep up with can be rough at times. Not only does it solve the problem of keeping up with the passwords but it also suggests strong passwords when you are needing to make a change.

  ### 13. While a fine password manager, LastPass's security troubles made us jump ship.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan E. | Security Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Lastpass is competent password manager, working fine with all the major sites and identity providers (including passkeys now). Autofilling is seamless, managing (shared) vaults is easy and it does all the things you expect it to be able to do.

LastPass is also a very well known name in the password management space, meaning I saw more employees who were already familiar with it because they were personally using it or used it at a previous job. This made onboarding users slightly easier than with other password managers

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

What I disliked most about LastPass was how the constant security issues, especially those almost two years ago, just chipped away at my trust. The initial breach in their dev environment was bad enough, but when it eventually came out that the hackers used info from that first attack to get a backup of customer data, including some stuff that was supposed to encrypted, but wasn't, like website addresses, that was a major issue. On top of that, the lack of clear communication made me feel like they weren't being trusthful, which is the last thing you want from a service holding all your passwords.

The whole situation showed a big flaw in their security and how they handled things when something went wrong. Even though their zero-knowledge encryption meant my master password wasn't stolen, seeing that a backup of my vault data could potentially expose sensitive info is a no-go. It just proved that the behind-the-scenes security wasn't as solid as I thought, and that's when I knew I needed to find a more trustworthy, open-source option.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A password manager like LastPass solves the huge problem of password fatigue and poor password hygiene. Before I used it, many people in the company were either reusing the same few passwords everywhere or writing them down on somewhere, which is obviously a terrible idea. The biggest issue to combat that was the lack of insight; I had no clue who used good password hygeine, and who wasn't. Lastpass made it easy to manage and get reporting on how people were using it.

  ### 14. Reliable and Convenient Password Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishen B S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I appreciate how user-friendly and convenient LastPass is! It makes it so much easier to manage and secure all my passwords in one place, without having to remember every login. Plus, the browser extension and mobile app work seamlessly, so I always have access to my information wherever I need it.

I also like how LastPass helps with generating strong passwords, giving me peace of mind that my accounts are safe.

Overall, it’s a tool that makes digital life more secure and efficient!

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

While I appreciate the overall functionality of LastPass, I sometimes find that the interface can be a little clunky/tricky to navigate and not as intuitive as I’d like. There have been occasional instances where the browser extension didn’t sync properly or required a refresh to work smoothly.

Additionally, some of the advanced features are only available with the premium plan, which can feel limiting for free users. However, the premium version is well worth the money.

Overall, it’s a solid tool with a few minor improvements that could make it even better!

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass solves the challenge of managing and remembering multiple passwords by securely storing and autofilling login details across devices, saving time and effort. It also generates strong, unique passwords, which provides peace of mind that our accounts are better protected.

At work, we use LastPass to give each user their own secure access. We can easily turn on or off access as needed, which helps keep our systems secure and well-managed.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Nothing much. It worked out well for us.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more password leaks. It feels like a safety vault that keeps all the passwords secure. Internally sharing the passwords securely was made easier after using LastPass. And, most importantly, we don't have to worry about forgetting the passwords anymore.

  ### 20. Seamless Device Integration, but Email Password Management Can Feel Overwhelming

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The integration between devices is very strong and seamless.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Given how many sites use email address as login, it can be overwhelming to search for my actual email password and not a site that uses my email address.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing dozens and dozens of tools that aren't integrated with SSO.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel G. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I’ve been using LastPass for a while now, and it’s become one of the tools I rely on daily. It makes managing passwords effortless — no more struggling to remember dozens of logins or reusing the same weak password everywhere. I especially like how seamless it is across devices: whether I’m on my phone or computer, everything syncs smoothly. The auto-fill feature is fast and accurate, and the built-in password generator means I can always use strong, unique passwords without hassle.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The interface can feel a little clunky at times, and it’s not always intuitive for new users.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass does exactly what it promises: it keeps my online life secure and organized. Despite the small drawbacks, it’s still a 10/10 for me because of the peace of mind it provides.

  ### 30. My experience has been good until I had questions about billing.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philippe R. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

It's easy to use and has been mostly reliable.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I have been using Lastpass for several years. Other than billing, it has been smooth. HOWEVER, this year, we reduced our staff. I received notice that our annual bill was upcoming. I knew we had too many licences, but finding that information in the Vault or Admin panel is not clear. So I opened a ticket in the support site - a different site than the vault, why does it need a different site? - The response time was TERRIBLE. It took them a full TWO WEEKS to respond to my last question. Coincidentally, I had a technical issue. They responded to that one the same day. Clearly, they are under staffing the billing support. This is unacceptable and leads me to believe they do so in pursuit of profit. It's unfortunate, otherwise I would have rated them a 9 as the platform is easy to use. But the way they treat their customers on billing question is appalling and shows contempt for us. If this was my company I would fire the person responsible. If the CEO is aware of this, the clearly he or she doesn't care.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to manage passwords

I would like to give some things I dislike about LastPass but there is nothing I do not like about the software.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass has solved the issue with having to remember several passwords for all of the different places you log into and it also gives a assesment of your passwords, how freaquent you use the same one and how secure they are. The benefits of that is we have more security and less issues with passwords being hacked.

  ### 33. No service, no response, no phone, no support, no chat, no program

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

If it doesn't work, there's nothing good about it.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I cant log in after reinstalling windows. It is supposed to send me a recovery email but it never does. There are several other options, all require logging in, which it wont let me do. Dead end after dead end after dead end. I'm supposed to have codes and passwords THAT THEY NEVER GAVE ME. I paid for this program but am not able to use it, that is called FRAUD, when you pay for something and do not receive it. That includes "support". I see many other people in the same situations, asking questions about being locked out, with no response from LP, so its not like I can look up the answer. Again, there is no form to fill out for support, no chat available, no email, no phone NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!! Oh, if you want a corporate account, you can leave a message, but that's it. They are accepting new customers while screwing over their existing customers. Who are these incapable, inefficient, inexperienced, immature, uneducated and misdirected software engineers that come up with this GARBAGE.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its creating problems, not solving them.

**Official Response from Becca Gage:**

> Hi,

We sincerely apologize for any confusion reaching LastPass support. The best way to receive unauthenticated support for your account status is by clicking 'Request help' through the main recovery page here: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/recover-master-password.html&_LANG=enus

Or if you prefer leaving your name/email address here I can have someone from our support team reach out to you directly.

Please let me know if there's anything else we can do to help resolve this issue.

**Reviewed by:** Andrew L. | Chief Data Scientist and Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I use LastPass every day for both personal and business use. I like how easy the user interface is to use. The integration with browsers works really well, filling in passwords, managing multiple logins for a single website, and offering to add new passwords or update existing ones when a new login/password is created. Sharing passwords with my colleagues is a really nice feature and allows us to better manage our IT assets.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I have both a personal account and a business account. Switching between the 2 is a pain. Recently, I have had lots of issues with the plugin for Edge. I have switched to other browsers to avoid it.

The ability to access your passwords from anywhere once you complete the verfication process. The simple interface allowing you to edit and change passwords when needed.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Some past breaches, limited transparency, and ongoing performance concerns.

Reduces human error, speeds up access to systems, and lowers everyday security risk in my company

  ### 41. Does most things you'd expect very well.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The ability to share passwords across different areas of your business via different shared groups within LastPass helps keep software and platform access under control and manageable. Rollout is very easy and works across most operating systems that we have needed it to work on.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

We have a few students involved in our business, and not for profit clients, and I assumed they would be able to use LastPass at a discounted rate in their own businesses or projects, but LastPass doesn't offer concession pricing.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to record logins in a password protected spreadsheet which made login management very hard (and unsafe). LastPass is a much better option.

  ### 42. LastPass makes passwords less hassle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Network Administrator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

It makes passwords for me, I don't have to try to think up another combination of random characters every time I make a new account somewhere. LastPass then remembers it for me, I'm an IT admin and I have a lot of passwords - so having LastPass keep up with them is very helpful indeed. It also auto fills them in websites when I return. LastPass also stores them in a searchable format so its easy to find what I'm looking for, and launch the site directly from it.
Has an app for the cellphone so I can carry all my password with me in case I don't have my company laptop.
As an admin, super easy to add new users, and check on their status. Can update their master passwords, and it does notify all admins when you do this, so can't sneakily get into peoples accounts!

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Initial set up for the users could be a bit more guided - not always obvious how to get started.
Plug in could be a little more obvious to access, but it still pretty good.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password Management for users.
Continuity of passwords for when staff leave.

  ### 43. LastPass has all the solutions!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meryl M. | Senior Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Sub folders, ease of sharing folders, folder structure. Adding any text strings and attachments to items without LastPass scanning on the backend. Unlimited amount of items to add to a shared folder and unlimited amount of shared folders. Can import large files and multiple items and not receive upload errors. Browser extension SSO and Okta easy to sign in and set up.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Some issues after migrating an ex employee's vault to a shared folder, attachments would not download and had error. Said to contact Support, which we did and worked with them over months never resolving the the issue or recovering the attachments.
No way to see which items have attachments in them unless clicking into every item type that could contain an attachment.
When exporting the entire vault including all shared folder items, the .csv export left out the file path to the shared folder and sub folders. Worked with Support on this as well and no resolution.
Major issue with user's sharing keys and when user's would log in, they would see special characters in the shared folders they were part of, instead of English. And unable to see any items in the vault until LP Support cleared their sharing keys.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing credentials for teams is a major part of what we use LP for. The shared folders have been a life saver. Also ease of sign in with SSO and Okta, syncing from AD groups.

  ### 44. Peace of Mind After Scam Attack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana M. | Property Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I love being able to go to one place for all my passwords, not only is it secure but it is also user friendly with the auto fill, easy to navigate the site on the web or on my mobile device. I recommend it to friends, family and co-workers as a tool that should be considered to keep information easy to access but secure.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The master password makes me nervous, I always worry about being locked out.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve my ability to get locked out of sites from lack of password management or memory.

  ### 45. Excellent Tool for Password Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan N. | V, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Logging in is very fast and easy. I use this app every single day. My work passwords and personal passwords are kept securely in my vault, so I can use any device at home or work and have passwords at my fingertips.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

When I'm at work my personal passwords auto populate in the banking website when I want to use work credentials to log in. Sometimes the LastPass popup blocks me from making a selection on a drop-down menu on a website.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to work faster and more efficiently by immediately giving me access to secure websites. I don't have to memorize or write down passwords anymore. I can use LastPass Authenticator as an extra layer of security to prevent unwanted individuals from gaining access to sensitive data. I can cut off a terminated employee from access to company passwords immediately in the Admin console.
