It is based on No Code Analysis and makes it super handy for anyone who knows their business domain and data to do their analysis with a few clicks only. The reports you build can be shared via a simple link. Even though it is built on the foundation of No Code, an analyst who knows SQL can also access the underlying SQL which can be run across various other SQL based platforms with may be a few tweaks. Kubit also ensures that their customers are supported when they face an error or something seems not right. The Kubit team is also super adept at implementing and communicating new features and datapoints so that their users are always aware about whats happening. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** The only thing I would say here is that Kubit is super addictive self-service analytics. **What problems is Kubit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our BAs are able to answer simple exploratory questions rather than waiting for a DS/DA to get back to them with the analysis. I would say 'time to first report creation' is an outcome that Kubit solves for in a way that leaves it's competitors in the wind. In addition, customer support is second to none. Whether it's ingestion new data, helping to build queries and reports, or talking about new feature enhancements, the Kubit team is always ready to listen. I am in Kubit at least 2-3 times a week and encourage all my product teams to do the same. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** One of the perks of a kubit chart is that you can export the SQL query used to generate it. Unfortunately one of the downsides, at least within my org, is that that SQL query used to generate it does not work out of the box within the tables that our business intelligence team have access to. This is due to the way in which Kubit may augment the tables in such a way that supports it's platform. This can lead sometimes to two sources of truth. Now the data doesn't diverge significantly, if at all, but it does mean that partnership with product teams who are using Kubit to derive data analytics and business intelligence teams who use raw tables to derive analytics can't always speak the same language. **What problems is Kubit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kubit is making it easier for non technical product teams to make data driven decisions. The team is always reachable and willing to go above and beyond to help us. Customer support is also very evident in the features they support, such as having access to a representative a click away directly from the tool. The setup was also fairly straightforward, being a warehouse-native solution. We were able to save our efforts and use the same data models that service most of our other tools. The tool itself is promising as well. We are in the early stages of adoption, but I am sure that it will be generating value for us soon. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** Kubit is very powerful and can be challenging and overwhelming to get started on. Some UI elements are hidden, and I often read the documentation multiple times to get a chart built and interpreted. We can query by user, company, etc.. There are a lot of options and very easy to understand and use. And the support makes it a lot easier to understand how to use the tool, they explain in detail how things work so instead of just giving the solution they explain why the solution works. The funnel report is useful for understanding funnel progression but also how many users interact with a feature or opened a page, and if that has an impact on purchases. It allows us to gather data much quicker and easier than if we had to query the data in SQL ourselves. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** For someone who is new to reporting it was difficult to understand at first, however the support that we had from Kubit helped me to understand how to create reports within only a few days. **What problems is Kubit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping me to understand user interaction data. Our BI team has a backlog. Many of the repports we maintain are legacy. it's going to take a re-write. We don't have the time to revamp our legacy reporting and create the new event and product reporting the business is asking for. By bringing on Kubit, we' jumped ahead about two years. It would have taken us that long to deliver what we now have in Kubit. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** The aesthetic of the high opacity of the flag ship color in the UI. **What problems is Kubit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kubit is a proxy for FTE on the BI or analytics team that does reporting. It would have been about two years before we would have been able to deliver ourselves what Kubit has delivered for us. The time our data engineering team put in on creating the data set we share with Kubit would eventually have been created for our internal BI team to use. Now, we have the the data in Kubit, ready to be used by stakeholders. As well, the data set is available for our BI to use for future reports. Because we already have the data set developed and in production, we feel comfortable that the future reports the BI team creates will corroborate with the results stakeholders see on Kubit. ### 12. Kubit completely changed the way we work with behavioral data. Previously we had over a year's worth of Snowplow data sitting idle in a data warehouse. Our existing dashboards were inflexible and insufficient in answering questions posed by our stakeholders. Data Analysts were swamped with questions requiring custom SQL to be written, or a day's worth of planning on how to execute the problem solving. Now we get insights in just a few minutes versus the hours it would take earlier. The best part about Kubit is that it fully solves the problem of democratizing behavioral data to the rest of the organization. People with less than average analytical skills or who completely lack SQL knowledge can now edit reports themselves and find the insights they need. The set of reports available are easily understandable by a layperson and becomes super powerful in the hands of Data Analysts and Product Owners. This frees up time for our Data Analysts to look at the larger problems, such as how we can revolutionize our other data sources the same way we've done it with behavioral data using Kubit. The team working at Kubit is amazing to work with. Technical persons understands the ins and outs of the product, are quick to respond and very open to feedback. Customer Success is also done right here, with proper educational sessions provided and frequent, personalized communication. The pricing model of paying per user analyzed, instead of per user analyzing, also incentives usage of the tool. We see that our power users are interacting with it daily, as expected, but we also see interactions from people for whom the barrier of analytics is a bit higher. **What do you dislike about Kubit?** My biggest gripe is that it is not possible to set up Kubit yourself. It's an Enterprise implementation process (at the expense of an Enterprise price tag) when it seems like the config changes required for change requests should be simple enough to complete by the end user themselves. This is offset by excellent support, very short time to first response and triage and ok time until problem resolution. At the time of writing, Kubit is still comparatively less feature-rich than competitors. However, new features are rolled out continuously and it's getting more Enterprise-level features in place by each day. **What problems is Kubit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kubit helps us understand our users in a way we never could before. We can understand how they navigate our tool, how much time they spend on each part and segment our users into cohort to dive really deep into our problems. On the technical side, Kubit frees up time for our Data Analysts to work on larger issues than just writing minor SQL queries every day to answer stakeholder questions. More time can be spent on creating hypothesis that can be tested. ### 13.
