Kreateable is one of the better AI generated softwares I've come across and played with.
Key features that I did really like:
-Ability to add a short (20characters) slogan or sub text
-Choose your industry to align the logo with the consumer base youre targeting.
-Once you choose your inital Logo the online editor allows you to mess withthe logo type colors, font, and swap out icons.
The ability to choose your industry or company category is an a greate feature. Compared to a few other AI logo platforms I've used, Kreateable generated the best logos due to this. Often with other platforms the logo generated did not capture the look or feel of the industry you are operating in.
Overall not bad for AI - still not something I would suggest to create a logo for your brand though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not necessarily that I don't like Kreateable as a platform/brand. I do not like AI generated design in general, for anything, and for many reasons.
It can be a great resource for a small start up with a limited budget or something a non designer can mess with to hand off to a real designer as a starting point or idea for what they want. The designs are basic and although you can choose your brands category, the logo created is just missing that logo magic.
AI art & design, in my opnion, is derivitive and souless. Your logo is supposed to capture the essence of your brand and scale with company as both it and its consumer base grows. Hiring a human designer - or even better -a logo specalist is the best thing you can do for your brand. Yes, it is WAY more expensive but well worth the investment.
Top things I did not like about Kreatable (besides what is stated above)
-Limited fonts & Icons
-Many of the suggest theme colors clash and would make for a pretty terrible brand/company color pallete. Since the suggest themes are standard across all brand categories you also risk of choosing the same color pallete has another company using the platform
- Theplatform is cheap for standard and premium membership but if youre only using the platfrom one time it would be cool to have an option to purchase the single logo generated instead of having to subscribe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
