Developed by COMBASE, KORONA POS is a cloud-based point of sale built for retailers, quick-service dining, and ticketing businesses. It was built to help businesses automate operations, gain insight into performance, and effectively scale. KORONA POS software comes with a user-friendly and fully customizable front-end cashier system. Users can create unique button layouts, change prices and buttons, add images and descriptions, set different user permissions, add automated prompts, and adjust the customer-facing screen with different messaging, loyalty logins, or advertising. The back-end of KORONA POS, called KORONA Studio, offers merchants vast inventory management features, custom sales reporting and KPI metrics, employee management, vendor relations, gift card management, promotions, ticketing features, loss prevention features, self-checkout solutions, RFID technology, and modern payment options. It's also fully integrated with card processing, eCommerce, accounting, payroll and scheduling apps, and CRM systems and contains an open API through which any merchant or partner can build any integration to KORONA POS. KORONA POS is a subscription-based cloud POS system. Each account is billed by the number of terminals and includes automated updates, full customer support, and no additional fees. The KORONA POS cloud is updated quarterly with new features and integrations. Merchants can also use existing hardware solutions that run on Windows or Linux operating systems. Customer support is included in every subscription and is reachable promptly by phone, chat, and email, and emergency phone support is available 24/7. "Fantastic customer service"

What do you like best about KORONA POS?

We had a critical issue with our POS (problem with a payment processor) and Korona's team were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Of the three times I called them for this issue, I never waited more than a minute for the next representative. Anthony and Brandon both were able to nail each issue down within a few moments and started a bridge call with the third party. They answered every question with clarity, and I can't recommend them enough.

What do you dislike about KORONA POS?

KORONA POS has launched one of the fast and secure payment handling system in the enterprise that has really improved customer service. It offers 100% accuracy in transaction processing that has reduced minor errors that have been originating from manual system. "Robust POS System"

What do you like best about KORONA POS?

Their pricing is fair and reasonable, and their support is top notch. I can trust that they have our business's back when we encounter any issues.

The software is great for many different use cases. We use it for our retail (KORONA.retail) and wholesale sales (KORONA.invoicing). By Korona having these features, we save hundreds of dollars every month by not having to use multiple software platforms to run our sales.

The implementation was relatively simple, and we were up and running in less than a week. It has taken some time to get used to the robust system, but the support team is willing and ready to help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KORONA POS?

The promotions are lacking in features, only allowing one redemtion point for customer points, and the couponing/discounts can be difficult to set up. We have gone with bLoyal as a 3rd party for our promotional needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about KORONA POS?

Besides sales and onboarding resources as a partner, Korona support has been the finest I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my 25 year career as an independent IT service provider. All of the staff are friendly, available, resourceful, knowledgeable and capable. The continuity of support requests between staff is seamless. Follow through is spotless. What do you dislike about KORONA POS?

I’ve not yet found a weak spot. The greatest challenge I’ve had with the product is finding the simplest use of the product’s features. What problems is KORONA POS solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a new deployment for a client never to have used a POS, the preparation of inventory has been the greatest challenge. Constant communication and testing with Korona engineers has been invaluable.

In physical deployment of hardware, support is at most, a 3-5 minute wait on a call - Every issue has been resolved neatly and expeditiously to my satisfaction.
