I like that Kipu is user-friendly and provides all the patient information I need, including dietary needs, restrictions, and allergies, which are crucial for meal preparation. The information is readily available, along with patient pictures, so I know who I'm dealing with. The software tracks all the relevant details for me to provide meals accurately, and as long as the information is up to date in the system, I can keep the patients healthy. What I like most about Kipu is how easy it is to use. I facilitate groups and write DAP notes (Data, Assessment, Plan) every day, and the system keeps documentation simple and straightforward. I really appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly Kipu EMR is. One limitation I’ve encountered is the inability to track no-show appointments through the reporting feature. Since no-show attendance is an important metric for our organization, not having a built-in way to report on this creates extra manual work and reduces efficiency in our reporting processes.

Another challenge is with the billing audit tool, specifically that it does not transmit the time of service over to CollaborateMD. This creates gaps in invoicing accuracy and requires additional steps to ensure billing information is complete.

Additionally, some of our forms are quite lengthy, which can slow down the system and impact performance. This can make documentation more time-consuming, especially when working within larger or more detailed client records.

I find Kipu's EMR much easier to use than any I've tried before. I like the ease of using the system for client documentation and how easy it is to show others how to use it too. It saves me time, allowing me more opportunities to work with staff and clients rather than getting bogged down by a complicated system.
