  ### 1. Not Worth Preaching to the Choir!

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

I like the concept/theory of this platform. It was nice being able to do internal review/feedback on teammates and also receive feedback about myself as well. I believe that there is great potential in the product and just was not able to be realized by my company and its vision of utilization of the platform. I think other organizations could highly benefit from this system though.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

I do not like the execution of this platform. It was very poorly designed and administered. Almost felt incomplete at times. There was definitely more to be desired and very much lacking that needed to be improved upon. There was always visual glitches and lag in the platform, as well as attributed errors at what seemed like every single turn. When trying to utilize this within our company, it ended up basically being sidelined and forgotten about over time since everyone was frustrated with not being able to utilize it correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

I would recommend anyone considering this platform to please reconsider and look to other possibilities before deciding to use this one. That is my blunt and honest opinion. I think that there are very many other more fitting options available that could be looked at by anyone that is considering this platform and could definitely find something of more value and substance elsewhere. Additionally, if you do decide on this, then I would suggest making sure that your team fully understands the intricacies of it and that they continue through with the use of it, otherwise it is just a waste of time and resources. I would even probably be able to just do a simple search and find more than likely 10 other possible options that would suffice instead of utilizing this Khorus platform.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to do internal employee review/critique with this system is helpful. That is honestly the only benefit of it though. Aside from that, I cannot think of any other reasonable benefit that my organization found from it, or any that I can think of another organization being able to receive from it.

  ### 2. Easier to Use, Training and Support Always Available

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

I find Spredfast successful. I have used similar platforms in my previous work and even in my current company, and nothing is comparable to Spredfast. The platform is intuitive, but when I'm confused or if I can be more productive, I use one for coaching. They are extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

The product is not capable of doing what I need, sometimes it's hard for the platform to do what I need for social listening and intelligence. Finding is not always intuitive if you don't know how to get what you need. While it is difficult to use it in certain situations, we have found that Spredfast is not a lack of functionality and talent, but a lack of training and experience using the platform that creates problems for us.

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

He has had successful relationships with various Spredfast teams, from the support team to our local market leader, strategy team. It can support you for the list of people and the expenses of the future. Our companies have similar cultures and core values.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a successful software that helps us manage social networks and communicate with our customers. Allows you to measure the effectiveness of each conversation. set up programs for content publishing, assign tasks, generate keyword searches, analyze and measure results. It is an ideal tool because it allows us to provide excellent customer service. It is easy to understand and staff have their own training to change their pages. In short, it is a great business support tool.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

Just set our goals and helps us in execution of the projects, helps asighn duties of the projects to the workers and also shows us the progress of each worker on his duty.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

I just lgenerally like it and dont see any bad side of it for my projects.

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

If you are a leader and ambitious leader to be specific then you should go for it for your project planning.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Achievement of our software project goals through project strategic planning and employees progress tracking.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

Quick and easy way to understand the status of strategic initiatives.  Too many managers get surprised at the end of a quarter when an objective is missed -- even though employees knew all along.  The Khorus software is an indispensable tool to align employee efforts to achieve corporate goals and creates fact-driven conversation space(s).

I also like the light-weight employee evaluation module ("Talent").  Again, it creates a rhythm to having bi-directional conversations about ways team members and managers can improve their performance.

The system sends automatic reminders to employees once a week so there is no excuse to update and the helpful dashboards give a synopsis when goals aren't completed/updated/etc.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

No negatives.  (Now how do I write that in 40 characters?)

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

Employee adoption is a key issue to track.  Unless/until your team understands "what's in it for them" adoption (and thus efficacy) may be limited.  In my experience, purchasing professional services to help guide implementation and adoption is well worth the investment.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alignment is the key issue we're addressing.  Too often people are told "what to do" but have little context for "why it matters."  Khorus helps people find purpose in their work.  E.G. When I do "X" it impacts Corporate Level Goal "Y".

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

The ability to update progress on a weekly basis.  Too often goals are set at beginning of quarter and individuals and teams don't even revisit the actual outcomes until 2 weeks after the quarter ended.  The result is they chose to react to the biggest fires of the day and not commit to the goals they determined were key in order for the organization to meet it's key objectives.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

People see goals and the talent module and think Khorus is (or should be) something else that what is truly is - a strategic planning tool designed to give the CEO impactful insights into how the organization is performing.  

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

It is easy to understand the concepts in Khorus.  The change it can bring is powerful, but it requires effort of everyone in the organization to use it.  If you are committed to it, you can do great things.  If you think you can just turn it on and it will handle goal setting and goal completion then expect to fail.  

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives our organization the ability to have a quarterly level set about our goals from the top down and it empowers individuals and teams to highlight progress or challenges early so that course corrections can be made.  It has been helpful in stripping away siloed views of different groups and get us to focus on core corporate objectives.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

Khorus is an excellent tool for ensuring everyone in the org is aligned to the strategic objectives. All employees know how their work supports the company's mission and goals.
Weekly insights from all employees provide early warning when important initiatives are at risk so that management can take action to avoid downstream impacts. At-a-glance dashboards pinpoint the risk areas.
It is a great tool for keeping meetings between managers and employees focused on the important things.  
Its efficient employee performance management (review) process is so much better than traditional methods. It keeps the review focused on performance against clearly defined goals instead of arbitrary and subjective manager comments. 

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

Sometimes the navigation is not as intuitive as I would like.

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

Khorus requires organizations and their leaders to be committed to creating good goals and instilling a culture of transparency and accountability throughout the org. The best results typically take 2-3 quarters to achieve, not because of the product but because that's how long it takes to really embrace and institutionalize this kind of management approach. The benefits make it very worthwhile.  

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better alignment and communication with remote employees.
Clarity on strategic objectives throughout the organization.
More efficient manager/employee meetings.
Employees appreciate the focused feedback in performance reviews.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

That it breaks the year down into 12 week increments and "forces" employees to truly stop and evaluate what they can accomplish during that time. 

The ability to view my team's and the company's goals allows for transparency with their work and accountability their work effort.  This translates to leaders being able to intervene in a timely manner when issues arise and thus help team members in getting their goal back on track.  

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

While it reinforces intentionality with work efforts, there are times when I find that employees are just checking the box until the quarter begins to wind down.  THEN they start to really evaluate, mark the update correctly, and log notes to justify short-comings, etc.  I'm not sure what can be done to assist with this, but have wondered about different questions, required notes, etc.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khorus has allowed our CEO to have insight into the business , even while being pulled away more and more as the business grows.  And, as I mentioned previously, we are able to identify areas of concern and handle them more quickly.  This compliments our belief that you will fail, but fail fast and fail forward.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

I like the fact that quarterly as the CEO, it requires me to think about the direction of the company and communicate those priorities to every level of the company. I like that is on line and accessible anytime and anywhere.  Most importantly, the transparency related to performance is excellent. 

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

I like the product and I appreciate the way in which they are constantly taking feedback and improving the product. 

**Recommendations to others considering Khorus:**

You want to consider Khorus if you are serious changing the performance culture. 

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of strategic planning and thinking across the organization. It creates an opportunity for the company to communicate clear goals and priorities. To date, we have achieved plans that we have talked about month over month in one quarter because of the weekly updates. It has also had us rethink our metrics and reducing the number lag measures.

**What do you like best about Khorus?**

Khorus is a great tool for creating a streamlined organization. The top-down approach to goal setting, allows alignment from the CEO to the individual contributor required to achieve company goals. I love the personal accountability that comes with updating goals on a weekly basis to identify potential issues and the ability to show how I'm directly contributing to company goals.  

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

Some of the internal navigation wasn't initially intuitive for me.

Highly recommend this product to help align the company.

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Top-down alignment
Ability to identify issues that might impede goal achievement
More effective management
Increased feelings of contribution at the individual contributor level
Transparency of company performance

The program is simple to use. That makes it great for setting goals, and keeping to them. 

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

The measurement side of things could use a little work. The data is there, but not as easy to access as it could be, meaning some lost time pouring over information. 

**What problems is Khorus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it, previously, for planning and developing strategy.

Khorus allows for our company to set our priorities for the quarter, have everyone align to them, and also helps us execute what we set out to go do.  In addition, the tool is designed to have employees provide updates on how those initiatives are going, which is truly beneficial and helps us adjust if needed in real time.

**What do you dislike about Khorus?**

A few product enhancements would be beneficial to do additional reporting

If you are a leader of an organization, highly recommend this product to help run the company.

Running the company; give people direction and what the initiatives are; provide transparency as to how the company in performing; real time updates on those initiatives
