**What do you like best about Kea Analyst Relations?**

I really appreciate KEA Analyst Relations for handling the challenge of a fast-evolving market like AI trust and AI safety. They did a great job scheduling briefings with various analysts who are experts in this broad and fast-changing market. Derk from KEA was particularly impressive, consistently scheduling a lot of good briefings. The service was effective in facilitating conversations with analysts, helping us understand different market perspectives, and sharing our market views. The people at KEA, especially Derk, are excellent at what they do. His ability to schedule meetings with relevant people in such a challenging market is commendable.

**What do you dislike about Kea Analyst Relations?**

I hope that we will return, but we had a limited budget, so we had to cut some costs and unfortunately KEA was one on the list, it was not just costs, but also the time, we are in critical phase of business, so this was a good distraction for us, but we had to streamline.

We underestimated the amount of work and commitment required from us and it would have helped to get a clear and realistic idea of the workload ahead of us at the beginning of the project.

Bram & team delivered the care of a boutique agency while having the reach and relationships of larger firms to really ensure we landed in front of the audiences we were looking to impress. The coaching and preparations the team provided allowed us to better position ourselves and refine our narrative to make a splash with every meeting we attended.

Only that Bram is an ocean away and therefore unable to grab a beer after a long day at work!

They have relationships and credibility with all of the top analysts we're targeting.  They also recommend briefing analysts we're not familiar with that could help us build market presence. KEA runs like clockwork - they arrange all the briefings, they're always early or on-time, and they're super-responsive to feedback.

There is literally nothing to dislike. Of course, you have to have a great product, in a relevant market - KEA can't invent that for you. But if you bring the content, KEA will facilitate the analyst relations that will help you tell your story.

Understand the value of a top-notch analyst relations function. Know how the big companies handle AR, so you can fully appreciate the magic that KEA delivers to smaller companies that can't afford full AR teams. Oh, and make sure you're starting with a great product & vision that will resonate with analysts.

KEA is our company's Analyst Relations team. They help us, as a small but rapidly growing startup, look like a massive company with dedicated AR function.  Since we sell enterprise B2B software, it's incredibly important for us to be seen, understood, and acknowledged by relevant industry analysts.  Our prospects and customers - typically Global 2000 enterprises - rely on these analysts for buying recommendations and even buying permission. We know we have a great product and a relevant vision, but even with those, it's typically not enough for a startup to get on the radar of top analyst firms.  KEA is the turbo boost to get us in front of top analysts on a regular basis.

They're very skilled and experienced in AR, and act as a true partner in your AR activities.

**What do you dislike about Kea Analyst Relations?**

I haven't had anything to complain about.  We're in a different time zone (US East vs. western Europe) but have been able to coordinate calls and briefings pretty easily.

**Recommendations to others considering Kea Analyst Relations:**

We used KEA to essentially launch our AR program.  If you have or had a program that you're trying to supplement or replace, you probably should put some thought into how to blend or transition.  I'm sure they'll be able to make it work seamlessly.

**What problems is Kea Analyst Relations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When our cybersecurity software and services company was spun out from a global organization as a freestanding business, we lost access to corporate AR resources.  There was a transition period with very few AR activities, but once independent we launched a program to restart and reinvigorate analyst outreach.  We contracted with KEA as a temporary measure but found them to be so effective that we made it an ongoing partnership. 

Bram and Sven have excellent relationships with all the analyst firms and are deeply knowledgable about the discipline.  KEA worked with us to develop our updated analyst story and content, and provided expert advice every step of the way, including on analyst subscriptions and content purchases.  They've generated briefings with all the big name analyst firms and specialized cybersecurity industry analysts, pre-briefing us and attending the calls.  Working with KEA, we have participated in all relevant analyst reports this year and have several in flight for next year. 

I've worked with great corporate AR firms over almost 30 years in software product roles, and I haven't seen any better than KEA.  One point that became apparent early on... the fact that KEA is NOT part of our corporate messaging machine gives them independence and credibility with analysts, who also deal with KEA and their other clients.

So easy to work with. Theyre always available, flexible and prioritizing what our business needs (vs just booking meetings for quantity). They're very open minded and adaptive, if we switch priorities or need to double down on a certain market they're quick to respond.

Their determination and excellent network. It is very hard to talk and present your product to relevant people (especially when you are just starting your journey).  KEA has the network and the expertise to help in this process.

**What do you dislike about Kea Analyst Relations?**

It is not something I dislike about KEA but rather about the process. It is a very hard-to-penetrate realm (the analysts' realm) and a very time-consuming and long-lasting process. This can become frustrating at times. But KEA explains from the start that the road is not going to be easy and patience is needed.

If you have the time and resources to start building Analysts Relations that will mature and produce results after 1 - 2 years, then KEA is the go-to provider. They have an incredible network and will certainly put you in front of the right people.

they have less knowledge about the product than an internal resource but it is to be expected. I guess this is mostly true for niche products

Analysts can be a powerful marketing/sales channel but it requires a somewhat mature product and positioning. It's better to have these tow things nailed down before investing.

KEA helps us connect with industry analysts. They have an extensive network of relevant analysts and they're very good at helping founders manage these relationships.
