Just amazing. The customer support is also fantastic - any issues are addressed quickly and all the support staff are always super helpful and friendly. We could not do what we do without Karbon. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Karbon's new time and billing functions can be a bit buggy and there are some improvements in the works that still need to be made, but I'm sure once everything has been rolled out fully there will be no issues. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of workflows and keeping down email volume. Although we have chat software that we can use as a team, I love that I can mention someone in my work and have everything in one place. UPDATE: Karbon is now incorporating AI into their platform and it comes in handy! For those TLDR emails Karbon now includes a nice summarize button which usually hits everything dead on. For those of us that struggle with composing emails, you can compose a draft and there is now a feature to change the tone and modify the draft for you! UPDATE 11/19/24: One thing I originally disliked about Karbon was for the client request, you could only send those to one individual. Karbon has since updated that and we can include multiple clients on the request! I am in love with this feature! Additionally, we now have a new way to view triage/emails. If you are a gmail user you can setup your account to display the same way or if you prefer Outlook style then you have that option. Also with my firm onboarding new employees and clients this has been a great tool for the entire team to collaborate in one place! **What do you dislike about Karbon?** One feature that I love is the client sections and being able to request information right from my work item. The downside to that is that if I am reaching out to one person but need to CC someone on the task as well, that option is not available. UPDATE 11/19/24: Currently there isn't anything I dislike, all my original concerns has since been incorporated into the platform. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Karbon allows me to keep up with repeating work, and the task section will enable me to add checks and balances to any piece of work that I am working on. Also, if I am working on a particular task, any email or supporting documentation can easily be attached to the timeline by me and my colleagues as well who may be collaborating with me. It also allows me to stay on task by creating work items for miscellaneous work as well as any payroll I may need to process on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. ### 22. We extensively use the timeline to check on who has said what to the client in the last few months and with click of a button get an updated summary from AI. However, there is far more to Karbon than this and no job is finalised in the office now without a workflow plan. We also love being able to schedule emails, put the newsletters into low priority and save emails into later so that we can often during the working day easily attain zero inbox, which leads us to feel efficient and on top of growing workloads. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Sometimes I lose an email - it's usually because i have not filtered it and allocated it to the right place the first time I correspond with someone. This is a huge factor within our business as we wish to be safe when sending sensitive information to clients. There are tools within the platform that help you have multiple big picture views of due, overdue, or planned work and allows you to organize that work based on when you want to get it done. We're able to communicate efficiently both internally and externally with the ability to email and @mention teammates on work items, so context and collaboration on kept with the specific client or work item. The implementation itself was very straightforward and it integrated seamlessly with our already operational Microsoft platforms (SharePoint/OneDrive & Outlook), but there is a lot of time invested on the front end to get the platform setup in a way that sets your team up for success. All work item templates have to be created according to your processes, but Karbon's customer support is TOP NOTCH and they assisted in that onboarding process every step of the way and long after onboarding was complete. We use this platform DAILY for ALL of our work flows, capacity planning, and even budget and revenue reporting. Within the work templates, you're able to make assignments to a specific team member, create automators that automatically notify a team member when they're up or change the status of a work item, send client requests with reminders and deadlines, connect to SharePoint and OneDrive so documents uploaded by clients are automatically stored to the right location, track time and budgets to keep your team on track, and so much more. We are SO pleased that we moved to Karbon as our all in one project management platform. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** In order to get the fullest out of your Karbon use, there is a lot of investment in the setup and maintenance of that setup to ensure work is tracked correctly, time and budgets are accurate, reporting is accurate, etc. You can totally get away with not spending the time to setup these minor details, but you'll miss out on the fullness of tracking and reporting that Karbon has to offer. Our team ended up discovering these details over time and have slowly invested the time necessary to ensure we get the most of our Karbon use. Additionally, although the billing platform in Karbon is great and can truly get the job done, our model and process resulted in still leveraging QBO and Ignition to bill our clients. It is barely an inconvenience as this system works better for our firm anyway. We also didn't find a lot of success in the Ignition - Karbon integration, so we input and reconcile our work items to service agreements manually. Lastly, many team members, particulary those on our technical teams, have expressed difficulty in mastering "My Week" which is the built in tool for organizing and planning your assigned work. I personally have not experienced this, I LOVE My Week and review it multiple times a day to plan out my tasks for the day, but it has been expressed by multiple team members that they have trouble leveraging My Week as it's intended. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Karbon is truly an all in one practice management solution. It streamlines email management, project management, and work flow, automates mundane tasks that save our firm time, and provides necessary perspective capacity and budget information that would've needed to get dug up manually in the past.
