The email integration lets me turn emails into tasks and tag team members, which improves transparency across the team and unable to miss a task I use it on a daily basis. It has helped us manage our client work much more effectively and has replaced several other tools we were previously using. It's helpful to do e-signatures and send them to my clients. Recording my work, sending out emails, and keeping track of job statuses for lodgments are really convenient with Karbon. What do you dislike about Karbon? I would love to have a better to-do list. I also would prefer to have a search functionality or, like, filtering in the triage. I love that Karbon allows us to request info directly from the client and send tasks to them automatically. The workflows are easy to use. I love using the templates feature so we don't have to reinvent the wheel every time a task comes along. It allows us to have repeatable consistent workflows that take the mental load off of our staff. What do you dislike about Karbon? Karbon Time doesn't allow you to track start and end times for time entries. We have had so many clients say that they love the onboarding process when they first sign up with us and that is due to the Karbon client requests that we have set up to automatically send clients the info they need and to let them know what they need to send to us. The fact that it is an all-in-one software, I can email and manage jobs, timesheets all from the same place. It has a website and phone app so I can access it from anywhere as well. Relatively easy to use UI. Integrates well with Outlook. Rarely have performance issues. I am not sure about pricing, I am just a user of the product. I have not used the support or AI yet. I appreciate Karbon's ease of use and how the most commonly used features are easily accessible. I find it easy to save information to client and work timelines and to follow standardized, repeatable work templates. The triage system is useful and easy to navigate, and internal communication via notes helps keep my email inbox from becoming cluttered. Karbon's newer features and integrations are heavily focused on the US market but I'm based in Canada so can't use them all. It can be hard to find some features that are less at the forefront. The navigation and different ways to view work or client information is very intuitive and seamless. I love the my week view to keep track of my schedule, Triage is easy to see things that require my attention and it is easy to move to my week, and the work view has so many variables to sort on that it is hard to not find a view that is helpful. There is an easy visibility to see all the work items, who they are assigned to, and how long an item has been in a status. I like the fact that you can create different types of queues for any work template/item that you may add for a client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Karbon? There are no automations throughout a work item that would update the client that 'X' task has been complete. Having to manually send these out can be a bottleneck and it can slow the process down when you are working on numerous work items at the same time. Sometimes the automations get very confusing, given there are the "standard" ones you would find in your settings, as well as the work item and within each section. I've had a few occasions that the automations in the settings mess with the ones in the work item. This could be user error, but I wish it was easier to see all the automations and to know which is causing the confusion.
