Introducing the option to create project space templates or shared definition assets would be beneficial. The platform has already made progress in this direction by implementing common fields, and I anticipate that this functionality will continue to grow. What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

JPD is integrated with the entire JIRA ecosystem, offering an intuitive and pleasant user experience. I also appreciate the ability to create multiple views, which is a great feature. I also appreciate the license options and the possibility to allow JSM customers to access data, this is probably one of the best things for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

There are three main areas where I think improvements could be made. First, the visualization for other stakeholders could be more user-friendly. It would be helpful if we could choose which views to make visible. While publishing views is an option, it would be even better if users could easily navigate between a selected set of views. Second, having hierarchies between Ideas would be a valuable addition. Although we have created custom fields to address this, having this feature built in would enhance the experience. Third, we would appreciate having some default options or templates for organizing content. While we enjoy the flexibility the platform offers, starting with a completely blank board can be daunting. What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

What stands out to me is that it is specifically designed for Product teams, which makes it particularly effective for our needs. Its integration with Jira sets it apart from other tools by design. I also find it very user-friendly and easy to learn, allowing new users to get started quickly.

The built in discipline of Ideas, Roadmap, Timeline help you guide the conversation away from "when can we do this?" back to "should we do this?". The visualizations (list view, kanban, timeline) are beautiful and flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how the product distinguishes between ideas and their implementation details in Jira classic. I have somewhere to add long term future, grander thinking that is not going to muddy the water with short term delivery focus that might raise questions from different stakeholders. Getting ideas to display on a roadmap can be annoying, I have one squad that's part of a wider programme, that programme has different filters applied I have to go over to the roadmap to see the filter and back to the idea to apply, would be great to be able to have something on the ticket that shows required fields for a certain roadmap. The lack of integration with Jira, Jira Plans and Atlas. Some specific examples:

1. A Jira Plan view to see JPD global ticket fields beyond just the Idea ticket.

2. A JPD view to see the Atlas Project that is Linked and Synced with the Jira Epic.

3. A method to convert a Jira Global field with no formatting into a field with JPD formatting.

4. A method to easily synchronize fields beyond the date fields between JPD and Jira. For Example workflow Status, Roadmap, custom single select and multiple select fields, team field, Atlas project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
