## Jellyfish Reviews
  ### 1. Semless integration with our existing tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

The platform's intuitive dashboards make it easy to track DORA metrics, sprint progress, and team allocation. I particularly appreciate how it integrates seamlessly with our existing tools like Jira and GitHub, providing a single source of truth for engineering data without adding overhead to the development team's workflow.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

The dashboard navigation could be more intuitive for new users, and sometimes we need support from their team to implement more complex reporting requirements. However, their responsive customer service has helped us overcome these minor challenges.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helps us identify bottlenecks in our workflow, balance feature development with technical debt, and make informed decisions about team capacity. This visibility has been tremendously beneficial in helping us align engineering efforts with business priorities and demonstrate the impact of our technical investments.

  ### 2. Excellent tool for monitoring Engineering Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil S. | Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

It brings together data from our ticketing management system and our code repository to show productivity metrics per developer, team and sprint. This is invaluable in identifying areas of improvement and enabling fruitful discussions between development managers and the developers. This also helps us in our discussions with vendors who can then align skillset to our technology and needs around velocity.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

It can appear expensive at first, however we were extended a long trial period and support that helped justify the costs.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning of sprints and releases and allocation towards initiatives.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for your honest review, Nikhil. Glad to hear you're seeing the ROI from using the any insights the Jellyfish platform provides - especially around sprint planning, delivery, and allocations.

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Jellyfish has been a quiet win not only for our leaders and strategic decision makers but also for me as an engineer. It gives clear insights into how we work, what are the focus areas, strengths and improvement potentials, AI impact, and how we compare to various benchmarks. What I really like is how it even connects my work to broader goals, which is motivating. And since everything’s automated, I can stay focused on coding.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Takes a bit to get used to the visibility, but it’s worth it.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jellyfish solves the problem of visibility and alignment, and it also helps me see how my work contributes to broader goals.

  ### 4. Powerful tool that allows you to make decisions based on data.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Personally, I like to make decisions based on data rather that a "feeling". This tool helps me dig into the data to really see what is happening and then make better decisions.

In this modern age and scale of my organization it is essential that you have the right tooling in place

Super easy to use

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

I would like to be able to build more custom metrics.
It not a dislike, but i find that it is essential that you understand the principles of engineering best practice before using the data. The data in the wrong hands could cause issues. Take it with a pinch of salt.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data based decisions
Engineering Efficiencies
Product Portfolio

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Nothing comes to my mind. Maybe I’d love to see more tooltips explaining how the data was collected?

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning work for the team, updating stakeholders with feature statuses and observing performance in the team for good discussions afterwards.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for the glowing review!

  ### 6. Jellyfish Review

  ### 8. Excellent Tool that Had Immediate Impact Identifying Team Workflow Problems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Fantastic metrics that shows how time was spent at the team and developer level vs what was planned.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

It's hard to keep up with all the tooling behind the different menus but the core features I use I can't live without.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a product team there is a constant flood of feature work, tech debt, bugs, refactoring work where it's hard to see in the trenches where the time goes Sprint to Sprint. With Juellyfish pulling in Github and JIRA metrics, it identifies where work enters the Sprint that should not have and where prod support tickets or poorly refined work needs an update in our process. Jellyfish dashboards are the core metrics for our team's Retro and Sprint Reviews.

  ### 9. Amazing tool and Keeps getting better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

From our first call with the team about purchasing we were impressed. Their onboarding team did a fantastic job bringing us online with the tool and training our teams. The tool has been fantastic at bringing to light the areas and teams we need to focus our efforts on.

Lastly its really impressive to see the features that they have launched in less than 6 months. Really goes to show the level of company they are!

Highly Recommend

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Currently I dont see a lot of value from the dashboard/compass. As a leader of many teams, I want to see where the issues are across all teams in a single pane of glass.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analyzing the teams we have and highlighting where we need to improve.

  ### 10. Great metrics, and overview of engineering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

The aggregation of Jira data into one view is the most helpful aspect of Jellyfish. A couple other call outs are the capacity planner, and the weekly review. I use both of those heavily to provide updates to leadership and my team.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

From an integrations perspective they only integrate with Jira. Then from a business perspective they are quite expensive.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Jellyfish is helping us solve is visibility into our engineering organization from a productivity perspective. It gives us great insight into how we are spending our team, what does our capacity look like for future quarters, and gives us the ability to have more productive conversations internally on how we are doing as an org.

  ### 11. great tool for insights across developer experience, planned work and unplanned priorities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

I like that Jellyfish offers visibility, alignment, and planning clarity which is all critical for multi-team leadership. It gives great views for visibility, investment breakdowns, and drill-downs at the granular even possible.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

With the volume and streams of data access it has, its lack of AI-powered narratives, role-specific insights, and planning guidance and at-risk reporting holds it back to being a tool beyond just a data tool . You want a tool that doesn’t just surface metrics - it tells you what to pay attention to and what action to consider. Adding a strategy lens to the data could be super helpful!

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jellyfish solves the problem of poor visibility into engineering effort, alignment, and team health. engineering leaders benefit by helping rebalance workloads, defend platform investment, onboard managers and engineers faster, and spot execution drifts early without micromanaging.

  ### 12. An Unmatched Experience with Jellyfish App!

it’s a powerful tool that helps streamline your life and boost productivity. If you’re looking for a reliable and feature-packed app to manage your tasks and goals, Jellyfish is definitely worth checking out.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

limited integration facility when it come to adding other applications

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jellyfish helps users organize and prioritize tasks, which can reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed by a long to-do list. It provides a structured approach to managing daily activities and long-term goals.

**Reviewed by:** Navneet K. | Sr product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

I like how I can quickly see the progress of work, the productivity and the main ideas that were the key themes for a given period of time.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Lacking ability to integrate within existing products, but thats an issue with many other similar platforms.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives a quick and deep view into the development work and how it ties to investments. Helps highlight areas that are not contributing to KPI and ability to quickly break them apart.

  ### 14. Useful if used appropriately

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

* summary metrics
* integration of Jira + Confluence + GitHub data

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

* can easily be used in superficial and short-sighted ways to equate developer output with developer impact

Personally it is not solving a problem for me but I appreciate that the metrics are transparent to engineers

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review Jellyfish! Glad you're finding the centralized view of metrics helpful.

Jellyfish integrates with Jira to summarize progress, identify improvements and streamline workflows.

  ### 16. Insightful for understanding performance and initiate dialogue within tech org

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

There are several metrics which are highlighted that help have conversation with engineering org to determine how best to optimize processes and monitor performance of members.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Ability to standup a customizable metric based on personal needs - i.e. # of bugs in timeframe per user story. Would be beneficial to quickly spin one up that might not be a default metric Jellyfish provides.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aggregated insights on jira use and ai tooling use

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for the honest review! We are glad that you find the Jellyfish platform insightful and helpful in optimizing processes and communicating progress.

  ### 18. Jira and Git Integration Makes Work a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

It has a great view of Jira and Git activities

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

It's better to link to other tools like google docs

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is useful for tracking the details of developer activity.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us this positive review, Quan!

  ### 19. Extremely Powerful Tool with Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

"Where are we spending our effort?" is an insidiously complex question to answer for most software development shops. Jellyfish transforms this tonnage into some initial setup and a reasonable monthly cost.

- Very Little Changes for your Teams: If your team is following some basic work structure and change management best practices, then you are already generating the signals Jellyfish needs to do what it does.

- Extremely Valuable Insights: Once the data is flowing, most of the metrics simply begin to spool out. It can take some time for these to be useful for trend analysis, but since the views it gives you are pretty hard to get any other way, there are often some immediately identifiable low-hanging fruit.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

- Even when you're following industry best practices, there are always going to be some nuances to how people work which can require several rounds of review to nail.

- The amount of data Jellyfish uses is massive, and so it can be difficult to validate that it's all being sent over and\or ingested correctly.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Where are we putting our engineering effort? Does it align with our expressed priorities?
- What is getting in the way of efficient delivery? Do we have support, dependency, incident, or other emergent work problems?
- How much of our effort can be capitalized?
- Are there areas in our development lifecycle, CI\CD, or other processes\systems which are creating friction?

  ### 20. Jellyfish

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikita B. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

A lot of statistics in one place, easy access to statistics from multiple sources.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

A lot of potentially harmful metrics. To be honest, I think that metrics like: lines of code/number of PRs and so on are not so useful and can be harmful.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One source of statistics, no need to gather statistics manually from multiple sources.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thanks for sharing this feedback, Nikita. Great to hear that you're happy with the easy access to all metrics in one place! I've forwarded your notes on some metrics to our team. Please don't hesitate to share this actively with our support team...we're here for you and happy to explain and address.

  ### 21. Great overall look at productivity in the org

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Being able to break down metrics by teams and cycles is amazing

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

I think that the sprint predictability measure could use some work

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is able to get me insights into team productivity and that helps free cycles up

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for the glowing review! Glad to hear how impactful having visibility into engineering metrics has been for you and your teams.

  ### 22. A world of opportunities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian M. | Teach lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Jellyfish allows the user to easily highlight areas for improvement. The information itself has high value, but how Jellyfish presents it is the multiplier factor.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

I would like to have comparative metrics among the team members from different perspectives, including the classic user points.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't understand the question, I prefer not to answer.

  ### 23. Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Glad to hear you're making the most of our platform! For the quickest response on questions about things like analyzing data around FTEs, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team directly.

  ### 24. Understand the speed of development and AI-copilot adoption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

The AI-Copilot analytics offer a powerful new lens into how generative AI is impacting development velocity. I appreciate how Jellyfish automatically attributes code contributions to AI-assisted work, allowing us to track adoption, usage trends, and productivity deltas over time. This is especially valuable for understanding how engineers are leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot and aligning that with velocity and cycle time.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Would love to see Jellyfish go one step further and suggest actions to improve adoption or speed—e.g., identify low-adoption teams, flag where Copilot usage is correlated with higher velocity, and recommend enablement strategies based on that insight.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engineering and Developer Experience analytics

  ### 25. Jelly for engineer manager

Ease to Use and has all the feature a i would hope for. Continue to evolve and it's becoming better with each new release

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Since i started participating on the webinars, nothing at the moment. Just eager for the new feature comming soon

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jelly to check investment type done by my teams and to identify any issues with the deliverables

  ### 26. Great too that offers lots of visibility into my Dev costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel L. | VP Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Great Dashboards and also ways to customize my reports. Integration into Jira and Github

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

In my case, it is a minimal thing. When calculating my Capitalizable percentages, they are based on FTE instead of cost, and I can't change that.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility into where my investment in Dev is being spent

  ### 27. Very useful to track several engineering metrics and performance

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

The UI is very intuitive, easy to set up and the features are very comprehensive.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

It would be nice to have the ability to attribute certain events that can be added to a team's delivery page that have impacted delivery to build up notes over a quarter to create a narrative that's accessible in the tool.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 31. Jellyfish ROCKS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy N. | Director, Agile Delivery, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Jellyfish has saved me SO MUCH TIME. I used to gather everything from Jira. That included writing complex queries, exporting to excel, and then massaging that data to create the visuals I needed. I'm not great a writing jqueries, so it took way longer than it should have. Jellyfish literally does all of that and spits it out in beautiful visuals.

Update: I still love Jellyfish! They've done some great UI updates recently that really make it easy to use. Can't wait to see what else they give us in the coming months!

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

I would love to see average velocity calculated. Jira doesn't do that any longer, so having an automated widget to view that would be great.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see where we're at on any given deliverable. We can also really dig into team performance and fine-tune whatever is needed. We're also using it to help with CapEx calculation and Developer engagement, which has been hugely helpful.

  ### 32. Great tool from managing your teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grzegorz P. | Lider zespołu IT / Scrum Master, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

The tool has a very intuitive interface.
It allows you to stay up-to-date with the work of individual team members as well as their performance. In a simple way, it allows you to view the statistics of the entire team, check the metrics of the delivered work, and also the structure and type of work performed by the team in different periods.

Thanks to easy integration with Jira, you can easily navigate to the elements of the team’s work that caught your attention, going beyond the accepted metrics, and quickly move to individual tasks that impact your area of interest.

With specific metrics and groups, you can easily check the progress of set goals both in the short and long term and respond appropriately to anomalies affecting the performance of entire teams, projects, and individual people.

A very useful tool from the perspective of a Team Leader and Manager

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

The only remark is that at the beginning, some attention had to be paid to the proper configuration of the tool - especially asignee people and groups.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Essentially, it saves the time needed to gather statistics and correlations between tasks performed by team members or several teams for purposes related to maintaining appropriate metrics at the project level. Additionally, it is easy to detect anomalies in the performance of individual teams and respond appropriately in advance.

  ### 33. Extremely valuable insights and time savings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve C. | Senior Engineering Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Jellyfish does a great job of focussing on what is actually important. The data rollups from individuals to teams to the org are all consistently presented but also specific to each level where different information is desirable.

We integrate with Jira and I do a great deal of querying and exporting to crunch numbers and look at details objectively and in the raw format. Jellyfish hits the nail on the head for the types of inquiries I'm pursing but makes it all so much easier to get to. The types of trends I'm interested in are nearly all presented out of the box and it's beautiful. But additionally Jellyfish adds additional context from Github, Confluence, and other tools which really drives home a stronger narrative than I can provide via just my own investigation.

Part of what allows us to see the info we care about are the configurations, which honestly aren't super robust but once we understood how to use them we've been able to cut our data as desired. It's a good balance of flexibility to customize and protecting the integrity of the tool, so no real complaints as it's great out of the box.

Lastly, the customer support has been exceptional. Our reps and the support staff addressing our questions or issues are very quick to respond and extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone I've dealt with at JF has seemed genuinely interested in helping and being a great partner. Wonderful staff.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

The only feature request on my mind would be some kind of export that could present what I'm seeing onscreen in a deck or PDF. Different browsers save as PDF a little differently but most have issues with scrollbars and certain bits on the screen may have a Save As or option to Copy & Paste but the entire view together with the complete narrative does not. We have some execs that don't want to jump in and interact team by team to see details...sending them a PDF they can page through would be really useful in getting that info in front of them, but also as a way to snapshot and provide a mechanism to contrast and compare in the future.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better insights into engineering performance, primarily trends like: is velocity improving, it feels like a certain IC is dragging their feet...are they, this team says they're too busy...are they focussed on the right type of work, etc.. We mostly use JF to analyze trends across the org, but also to research teams and behaviors we feel are present (gut feel) but we need data to back up those assumptions. JF helps connect lots of narrative dots.

  ### 34. Jellyfish is good platform for data-driven engineering/business decision making

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

end to end tracking particular project/epic

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

it should consider log time from Jira to calculate the effort spend

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to see where is my engineering team contributing, how they make progress or improvement in development process. Where they can expedite the development process.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Appreciate your honest feedback, Uttam! Glad you're seeing benefits from the increased visibility and insights.

Summary team metrics and integrated with Jira

As a member of the Accounting team, Jellyfish has made time tracking for capitalization of software development costs significantly easier and helped save us a lot of time to accumulate time spent on capitalizable work. We have also been able to customize the reporting to pull in relevant information.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

We have had some delays on receiving responses from customer support which has made modifications needed on reporting take longer.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying capitalization of developers times for accounting

  ### 39. Great tool for devs and dev teams to understand productivity, velocity and where you, your team or organization spend time

  ### 41. infra work in jellyfish needs some work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

I like the general overview that is given across the various jira projects. It allows me to dig into who might be overcommited and on what they are stuck working on.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

Since I manage multiple jira projects it would be nice to combine them into a singular overview.

Since one project is also jira service desk it would be helpful to have some ability to map tags to investments. otherwise it appears that service desk work doesn’t really map to anything.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the ability to quickly and easily see team level metrics and then view how those metrics were contributed to by various team members.

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. Glad you're benefitting from clear visibility into team metrics!

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Am I doing better or worse than my team mates? Am I doing more or less work than them? My entire career I have been pondering these questions, trying to guess the answers. Now, Jellyfish gives me the answer. Not just that, I can see how each person evolves over time, I can help struggling colleagues and worry less. I feel more focused and motivated.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

I can't compare myself against average people in my position, outside the organization. How do I compare to the world?

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jellyfish lets me compare my own performance with other people's. I can now compare my performance output with people in my organization. I just wish I could compare myself against world / local average metrics for my position.

  ### 45. Great input for Product Management and Cost Clarity

  ### 47. A lot of weird things

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

I do like the general insight that we have when it comes to our sprints. The metrics give us an idea on where we can improve as a team.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

There are a lot of weird things and bugs we notice with jellyfish. My manager is constantly having to reach out about issues we have with integrations and what not.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us see how many bugs we actually pull into the sprint. It has helped us show our product team the reasons why we may be delayed in releasing something is because of something that they determined to be a bug. Now they've gotten better at classifying tickets. It also helped us have a hard conversation about why our prs sit around for so long. It doesn't have anything to do with this app (it's due to the god awful app that is Teams) and so we are constantly trying to figure out how to get that number out.

  ### 48. A feature-rich eng mgmt platform used daily by roles across our whole org.. recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie N. | Head of Delivery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

- The investment analysis has transformed how we track where engineering time/cost is being spent and helps us to correct when we are not hitting our set targets.
- The go to tool for many roles at our org to track initiatives, team health, investment analysis, team/individual performance, team goals, development/delivey metrics. The list can go on...
- I often think it would be nice if the tool had xyz and then within not much time that feature/enhancement appears. This tells me they understand the market extremely well.
- Everyone I have spoken to at JellyFish has been super helpful, open to feedback and reach out to get us involved in early feature releases and community intiatives (Lane, Sydney, Kevin, Isabella, Duncan, Sam, Glenn, Alexa, Kristen to name a few).
- Removed our organisations need for tableau and expensive Jira data connectors as all the metrics we need are in the tool.
- Removed our organisations need for manual DevEx surveys with the new DevEx feature. This is a great feature they recently released and the UI for the analsis is amazing.
- They have built a community which we can access where JellyFish customers support each other around how to get the best out of the platform.
- Actionable and clear faqs/support articles.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

- In the early days when we started using JellyFish we had to reach out to make config changes. This has definetly been noticed as more and more is becoming self configurable.
- Some teams use slack, other teams use email to reach out. It would be nice if they consolidated their communication channels

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps us to track initiatives, team health, investment analysis, team/individual performance, team goals, development/delivey metrics.

  ### 49. Used Jellyfish to track AI Productivity changes

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

I like being able to connect Github and JIRA to jellyfish, letting me get a comprehensive view of my engineering organization.

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

It is not the most intuitive tool to use, despite three trainings I am still learning as I go.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI Productivity Tracking

**Official Response from Nour Sadek:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your honest feedback...I'll be sure to pass your notes to our team. And I'm glad to hear you're benefitting from our AI Impact module!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Jellyfish?**

Once configurated it gives a great overview about timelines and workload for the teams

**What do you dislike about Jellyfish?**

The configuration is not that easy and does not adapt fully to our internal team structure, e.g. team overlapping work.

**What problems is Jellyfish solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Calculating ETAs when working with various amounts of developers.
