The best this about JCPP is it supports multiple programming languages. This allows me to export my Java project or Cpp project or HTML/CSS from a single IDE. The language formatter works pretty good in terms of indentations and color formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most frustrating thing about an IDE is that when you code in multiple languages, it rarely has support for all of them. This is one of those rare gems that support everything from C to C++, Java, and all the front-end Web Development languages, HTML, CSS, Javascript. Apart from being extremely useful to professional developers, I believe this can be a game-changer for University students as they shift between multiple programming languages frequently. There is only one thing I dislike about JCppEdit, and that is the lack of support for Operating Systems other than Windows. I need to move to my PC from my Mac when I code on this IDE, and it is not a good experience to change your OS in the middle of work.
