I love how easy Jamf is to use, especially compared to other solutions like Workspace One. The apple-first approach of the company and its products is something I really appreciate. The Jamf Setup Manager and Setup Checklist are really cool and useful tools that integrate straight into Pro, making the whole enrollment and onboarding process easy and automated. We've been able to go from manually setting up devices, which took 60–90 minutes per device, to literally just being able to drop ship them straight to the end user. Jamf is unique in offering these specific tools, allowing me to be more hands-off with devices and focus on actually engineering the platform. I think Jamf could improve in terms of more site support and better roles and segregation for sites. At the university, we have multiple departments that need additional access to things like uploading packages and scripts, and it's hard to maintain that with what is currently provided. With Jamf Pro a lot of features come out of the box. It always supports new functions, which apple makes available for managing devices, from day one. It also has a lot of nice additional features like Patch Management, a nice in-house App Store and I love the option to extend inventory through Extension Attributes.
