# Which brand asset management platforms prevent outdated materials with asset expiration and version control?

&lt;p&gt;Oh this is a real pain if teams keep grabbing last year&#39;s logo. Bynder is the one I&#39;d look at first, reviewers specifically call out its workflow module for review, edits and approvals that keeps track of versions and kills the email back-and-forth, so people pull the current asset instead of a stale one. Brandfolder and Canto are the other big DAMs in this space with version control and governance worth comparing. To be honest, &quot;asset expiration&quot; (auto-expiring dated materials) is a standard DAM feature but I&#39;d confirm it explicitly in a demo, since not every plan handles expiry dates the same way. One heads-up on Bynder from reviewers, the pricing can feel inflexible and add-ons cost extra. What&#39;s causing the outdated-asset problem now, no version history or no expiry dates?&lt;/p&gt;
