"Highly Configurable, Intuitive Device Management Solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

The interface in Jamf is really great and seems to be getting better over time, making it easier to use compared to other products I've tried. I find the interface more flexible than other mobile device management systems, offering more features and configurations, giving me more freedom with my devices. I especially appreciate the ability to deploy an app to just one single device which is not possible with Intune, making Jamf much more seamless and easy to use for that purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

I'm still kinda new to Jamf, so I'm learning a lot as I go. I wish some things were more "canned" instead of having to configure them manually. It would be nice if there were more pre-built options to make things easier for beginners like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The MDM solution allows for efficient deployment and management of the necessary settings for the proper functioning of our equipment. New features are regularly enhanced, and the platform's ergonomics evolve positively, contributing to an increasingly satisfying user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The technical documentation in French deserves to be enriched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Takeover and Smooth UX with Straightforward Deployment"
4/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Easy takeover overall, with a smooth UX and straightforward deployment of what’s needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

I find that Jamf is a good tool overall, but it remains quite expensive and not always intuitive. Some configurations are unnecessarily complicated, updates can sometimes cause problems, and technical support is not always up to par. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jamf: Seamless Apple Integration with Customization Power"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I really appreciate Jamf's configurability. Once I learned the fundamentals, I could set up everything in the GUI, and as I advanced, I could do things beyond the native capabilities of Jamf Pro, thanks to the training like the Jamf 400 course. The deep integration with Apple means that Jamf supports new updates and features on day one, which really simplifies our workflow. I also like that Jamf Pro allows us to address our specific needs, like creating daemons and scripts to prompt users to restart their laptops, reducing the manual effort for updates. This customizability and close integration with Apple are invaluable for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

There are some usability issues with Jamf that could be improved. As an admin, when I go into a policy and see a script has been added, there's no hyperlink to take me directly to that script. I have to exit and find it manually, which is a bit cumbersome. It would be great to have a direct link in the policy to the script for easier navigation. This would streamline the process of reviewing and configuring settings in the Jamf Pro UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jamf: The Complete MDM Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I really like Jamf's API capabilities, especially how it integrates between Jamf Pro and the Platform API. It makes managing our MDM fleet efficiently as an IT team, and as we move towards more advanced solutions like GitOps with Terraform, it just allows for seamless and well-thought-out change management. Additionally, I'm really liking Jamf's AI assistant right now. It's super helpful for quickly generating reports with context related to our instance and aiding in making changes. Moreover, the improvements and new features over time have always been beneficial for my team. Even though I wasn't part of the initial setup, I believe it was a seamless process. Overall, Jamf has always been great, with continuous benefits from new system improvements and features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

I think there needs to be more clarity around some of the newer features and what version of the product you need to access them. It can be hard to understand what you do or don't have access to when you see all these new things coming out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Be a Pro with Jamf"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Jamf Pro allows me to streamline my workflows while managing our fleet of devices. I can easily group devices to receive the software that they need. The ability to control what the end users can access is also a plus. Working in a school having the ability to group teacher and student devices differently is helpful. We use Jamf Pro daily to help keep our fleet of devices up to date and performing at a high level for our end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

Learning a new system can be hard, but Jamf support and trainings are super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jamf’s Community and Support Make Mac Admin Work Easier"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I like the different avenues for support such as Jamf Nation and the new Jamf AI Representative in help chat. I also love Jamf Concepts and areas to share your opinions that I've seen implemented into production. Jamf feels very involved in their user base which I appreciate greatly as a mac admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

I dislike the amount of app registrations I need for each feature. I have 3 or 4 for Jamf Account, Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, and I may even need one for Platform SSO as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Mac Fleet Management That Keeps Us Ahead"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Complete ease of use and having everything I need to keep my Mac fleet, up-to-date, and ready to go. I always love when my numbers are better than the Windows team.! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

The lack of ability to customize where I put my dashboard icons as as well as the blueprint reporting capabilities, though I’ve learned this week those are about to get better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great solution that's built for Apple with solid Security, Compliance and AI Governance capabilities - pricing can be a bit steep, if not utilizing the full platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Great solution. I appreciate that Jamf is specifically built for Apple and offers unique features for the Apple ecosystem that other UEM solutions don't, especially around security and compliance. Their authentication and threat protection capabilities integrated into the Jamf platform are really useful, and the newly added AI governance features are quite impressive. It's a solid platform that consolidates other tools and offers a lot of integrations, making IT management of a growing Apple fleet much easier. Jamf also provides a better IT and end-user experience compared to Windows-focused UEM tools and it integrates with Intune as well. Initial setup is pretty easy, which is a nice surprise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

The pricing is a bit steep and it's hard to see the value if you're not using the full platform. Jamf Pro only is what some clients need and have budget for but there is a heavy push to the Jamf platform, which is understandable. There is quite a bit of transactional sales rep behavior at Jamf though and some don't provide much value in terms of ensuring clients are utilizing the full platform, until a few months before the renewal is due. Great progress consolidating the products into a platform but adoption of the full capabilities by some clients has been limited, making it tough for them to see the full value of what Jamf has created. "Seamless Zero-Touch Deployment with Powerful Self Service and Policy Control"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

What I like most about Jamf is its zero-touch deployment through Apple School Manager, which makes onboarding truly seamless.

The platform also caters extremely well to different needs. Jamf School provides an intuitive interface with classroom-focused tools such as the Jamf Teacher app, while Jamf Pro supports more complex enterprise environments with deep scripting, API access, and granular policy management. The Self Service portal is another major highlight, since it lets end users easily access the resources they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

So far, I can't think of anything I dislike about Jamf. It's a great platform :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
