This means it provides a central hub for teachers and students for so many aspects of their learning. This allows teachers to develop their familiarity and confidence with the platform rather than having to use a wide range of occasionally used websites and services. Also because it was created for education all the tools and features match directly with the needs of teachers and learners. **What do you dislike about j2launch Toolsuite?** I can't think of anything currently. In the past when I found issues or niggles, j2e have been all too ready and willing to respond to feedback and seek to constantly improve what they offer to schools. **What problems is j2launch Toolsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** As someone seeking to promote and develop the use of digital technology across the curriculum in our schools, j2e gives me a vital tool to encourage less tech savvy or eager teachers to use digital in their classrooms. It is simple, reliable and multi-purpose so they can see time spent using the tools in j2e will be a good investment for them and their class. This brings the benefit of increased use of digital in the classroom while providing pupils with a safe and secure environment in which to work. The flexibility of j2e also enables innovation and curriculum development by staff leading the curriculum in various areas within their schools. ### 2. Superb Set of Tools for Primary Pupils **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Paul W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020 **What do you like best about j2launch Toolsuite?** One of the major benefits is that all student work is stored in one place where it can easily be accessed and marked by the teacher. It is very easy for a teacher to create a task in J2E and share that with selected pupils or classes. The toolsuite can be accessed by any user from any connnected device, which provides opportunity for out of school learning. Included is a secure messaging service which provides a way for teachers and pupils to message each other without leaving the platform. Pupil to pupil messages can be disabled if the school feels this is preferable. The learning tools included range from easy to use creative titles for the youngest of users through to an 'Office-style' suite that cater for the demands of the older pupils. There is also a differentiated solution to addreess the coding aspect of the curriculum. It is very easy to publish pupils' work in a secure and e-safe manner, with the work, and any comments made, being moderated by the teacher prior to publication. For older users, there is the option to create and manage their own blogs, which, if the school feels is appropriate, can be made public on the web. On those occasions where pupils create something outside the toolsuite, it can be uploaded to their files area and become part of their e-portfolio. If a school wishes to set assigments, this can be done via the homework module, which tracks submitted returns. **What do you dislike about j2launch Toolsuite?** There is nothing that I dislike about the toolsuite. The only downside is that it is web-based and therfore relies on an internet connection. Without that, functinality is lost, but this is true of any web-based product. **Recommendations to others considering j2launch Toolsuite:** Speak to other users who have used the toolsuite for some time and can therefore provide an opinion based on experience. **What problems is j2launch Toolsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?** The J2E toolkit solved a pressing need for the school to address the UK National Curriculum for Computing and also provide a useful cross-curricular suite of software. Since adoption, the school has addressed previous shortcomings in addressing the requirements. As it is web-based we noticed that pupils use the toolsuite at home, both for completing their learning, but also for their own purposes. During the recent school Covid-19 closure, the toolkit provided an effective solution for home learning. ### 3. Everything can be connected to learning standards It takes advantage of Google integration in a really smart way, both in terms of provisioning students, but also by leveraging GSuite's storage.
