No changes (code OR config) required what so ever for monitoring web application and its simple and with in few clicks. This is very easy to implement. Detailed monitoring options, like type of Browser, synthetic users can be from any country/location across world, concurrent calls to avoid false posititves, detailed developer console reprots for torubleshooting, and many more capabilities. Synthetic users can simulate user journey, for eg: Product discovery or checkout RUM with little to no effort through GTM script injection. Integration with website is very easy for RUM. Robust reporting and scheduling options. Great customer support, always get back with in day with a detailed and accurate response. Number #1 support team also help with setup of synthetic user journeys or anywhere you are stuck with. We extensively use Uptrends on daily basis for Application uptime moniroring, as well troubleshooting end user issues via RUM. We have replaced manual moniroring after getting Uptrends onboard. **What do you dislike about ITRS Uptrends?** More enhancements can be done on reports perspective. **What problems is ITRS Uptrends solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uptime monitoring 24/7 End user monitoring via RUM Proactive moniroring via Synthetic users ### 3. The screen capture during a downtime event has been very useful in helping to provide root cause analysis for our teams. **What do you dislike about ITRS Uptrends?** The user interface could use an update to a more modern look at feel. It's slightly cumbersome to navigate and configure and takes some time to get it up and running. **What problems is ITRS Uptrends solving and how is that benefiting you?** Verifying system uptime from external systems. Web site can be monitored from more than 200 location. Easy to set up and open for integration with chaops or incident management software. Instant alerting and detailed info with error codes helps monitoring team to provide accurate data for quick fix. Test web page performance option is great to receive detailed info. **What do you dislike about ITRS Uptrends?** Reports and alerts on mail are like hard coded, would like to have option for customization. Support is not quick on response. I like the interface, branding, and functionality. I've had times where I've forgotten that UpTrends was there at all, until I'd power cycle a machine and get an email. **What problems is ITRS Uptrends solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have an API that many of my systems rely upon. If the webserver for this API goes down, it causes a number of systems to malfunction. With UpTrends, I get a near immediate notification that the API webserver has gone down. Which is quite preferable to finding out by way of seeing systems malfunction. ### 11. I like the dashboard views, both personal and team, that can be set up. I really love the integrations with other applications, such as pagerduty. **What do you dislike about ITRS Uptrends?** I dislike not being able to mass clear false positives. If you have a false positive, or you forget to enable maintenance mode during a scheduled window, the only way to clear the "downtime" from the system is to open a support ticket with their team and have them remove it. I also dislike that when adding new real-browser (think selenium) style monitors, they have to be individually reviewed, and at least when we set these up about a year ago, you couldn't queue up the entirety of your monitors for review, but had to keep going back and submitting for review after a monitor had been approved. **Recommendations to others considering ITRS Uptrends:** The native paging form uptrends is ok, but I do highly recommend integrating it with a full fledged paging application like PagerDuty. **What problems is ITRS Uptrends solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are reducing time to resolution for down time for a reasonable price. Also, the integration to pagerduty for alerting and scheduling has been huge for us. ### 12. The dashboard provides an easy to visualize summary of all the urls you are monitoring. Setting up new urls to monitor is very easy. When your sites go down, Uptrends allows you to drill in and see the http status codes and other details that give you clues as to what the problem is. **What do you dislike about ITRS Uptrends?** The transaction scripting is hard to get to work with with sites that use Angular. **What problems is ITRS Uptrends solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uptrends allows us to be notified of problems before our customers are aware of them. The integration with pager duty always notifies the right person.
