## About Iterate
Iterate is an enterprise survey platform for every channel a product touches: link surveys, embedded email surveys, on-site web and popup surveys, and native in-app surveys on iOS and Android. It is used by product managers, user researchers, and lifecycle marketers at 10,000+ leading companies including The New York Times, SeatGeek, Match Group, Estée Lauder, Quizlet, ProPublica, NBCUniversal, and Anheuser-Busch. Product teams use Iterate to test features and prioritize roadmaps. Researchers at The New York Times and ProPublica run audience studies. Lifecycle marketers measure NPS, satisfaction, and purchase intent at every stage of the customer journey. Where Iterate stands out is in how it fits inside the marketing automation tools lifecycle teams already use. First-party integrations cover Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Segment, Shopify, Airship, CleverTap, and MoEngage. The Braze and Iterable integrations are the deepest on the market, and they go further than what any other survey tool offers. A marketer can build a survey, target an existing Braze or Iterable segment, and send it through a Braze Canvas, Iterable Journey, or campaign. With Braze, the survey can deploy with no Iterate SDK at all, delivered as a Custom Code in-app message or inside a Braze email (no link, no redirect). Iterable email and Journey sends render the first question right in the inbox the same way. The integration is also bidirectional. When a respondent answers a survey, Iterate sends the response back to Braze and Iterable two ways: as a user attribute set on the respondent's profile, and as a custom event. Both are immediately usable inside the engagement platform with no export step. An NPS detractor score can trigger a retention canvas in Braze. A feature satisfaction response can update personalization in the next Iterable campaign. Survey data and campaign data share the same user profile in real time. For teams that want to deliver surveys directly inside their mobile app, independently of any marketing automation tool, Iterate provides native iOS and Android SDKs (with React Native support). The SDKs deliver in-app surveys triggered by behavioral events. Because the survey never leaves the app, response rates run up to 3x higher than tools that redirect users to an external browser. Surveys can also fire automatically every time a trigger condition is met in Braze or Iterable, turning event-driven survey distribution into a continuous research stream rather than a series of one-off sends. SOC 2 Type II certified. HIPAA compliant.

## Iterate Reviews
 ### 1. Keeping Surveys and Feedback Projects Better Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

Itt helps make feedback collection and survey management more organized during regular work. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. I often need responses related to health education activities, wellness programs, audience preferences, and educational content, so having survey creation and feedback management in one place makes the process much easier. Creating surveys, adding questions, organizing sections, and managing feedback projects feels straightforward and does not require much effort.

I also like the survey templates, question bank, customization options, and different question types available. These features make it easier to create surveys for different purposes without starting from scratch every time. The platform also helps keep surveys and feedback projects organized, which is useful when managing multiple activities at the same time. Reviewing responses and understanding feedback feels simple, and it is easier to identify common interests, learning preferences, and areas where people need more guidance.

Getting started was easy and the platform did not require much setup. I use it whenever I need structured feedback, and the available features feel practical for survey creation, feedback collection, response management, and overall survey organization. Performance has also been smooth while creating surveys, editing questions, customizing forms, and reviewing responses. Overall, Iterate fits naturally into my healthcare, wellness, and educational workflow and helps me manage feedback activities in a more organized and efficient way.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

When working with larger amounts of feedback, I would like a few more ways to quickly identify patterns and trends without additional manual review. Also, I like how feedback projects stay organized, but when reviewing responses from different surveys together, I sometimes wish there was an easier way to compare findings across multiple projects without switching back and forth.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterate is helping me solve the problem of collecting and organizing feedback in a more structured way. In my work, I often need feedback related to health education content, wellness activities, audience preferences, and educational resources. Earlier, gathering this information from different sources made it harder to review responses and understand common trends.

Now I can create surveys, organize feedback projects, collect responses, and review information from one place. This makes it easier to understand what topics people are interested in, what information they find most useful, and where additional guidance may be needed. Having feedback organized in a structured way also reduces the time spent manually managing responses.

It is also helping me make better decisions when planning future health education content and wellness-related activities because the feedback is easier to review and understand. Managing multiple surveys and feedback projects feels more organized, and important insights are easier to identify. Overall, it saves time, improves feedback management, and helps me make more informed decisions based on actual responses.

 ### 2. Easy Survey Builder with Great Templates, Sharing Options, and Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

I love this platform for its capability to build a survey form easily. Its easy to share feature with option to share with links, website, Mobile or Email increase the target reach. The templates in this platform ease the process of building a survey form much efficiently and better. It also act a base on which the forms can be build. Frankly the pricing of this platform is also okay and it won't be a worry for anyone willing to use this platform if it deems fit to them. The Integration capability with other platform like slack, Shopify, Zapier etc makes this platform more powerful. The responses can also be observe in this platform which is really good. The easy onboarding process also makes this platform more attractive. I love the overall performance of this platform.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the there was an AI that could actively assist in building templates. Other than this I wish that the page was more lively with some colors as the interface sometimes feels boring. I wish there was also more customization as of how the form should look like rather than the content itself.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform is really easy to use and is more powerful with its available integration tools. This platform allows creating and distribution of survey much easier. The collaborative effort can also be made to complete a study with its survey form and features.

 ### 3. Centralized Feedback Management with Strong GDPR Compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keitsock N. | Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions Architect, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

As a cloud architect at a Hamburg IT firm, Iterate’s region-tailored GDPR tools are its biggest strength. I set custom data retention windows, restrict feedback access by team role, and every data operation generates permanent audit logs, drastically cutting manual compliance work for German regulatory reviews. Its multi-layer tagging system is equally valuable. I label submissions by cloud platform, DevOps stack or internal portal module, letting me instantly aggregate recurring infrastructure flaws without combing through unordered free-text notes. All team feedback lives in one secure hub, streamlining our planning for cloud environment upgrades.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

The platform lacks pre-built export templates matching Germany’s standard audit reporting formats. I must manually restructure exported CSV files in Excel every audit cycle, which adds repetitive admin overhead. Alert configuration is limited with no priority tiering; high-severity production infrastructure complaints get buried alongside low-impact UX feedback. The branching survey logic is rigid too, making it hard to build layered technical questionnaires for our hybrid cloud troubleshooting workflows.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team previously collected IT feedback via generic forms scattered across emails and chat, with no built-in GDPR guardrails for staff personal data. This created compliance risks and made it nearly impossible to track consistent cloud tool pain points. Iterate consolidates all qualitative input from engineering and DevOps teams, automates mandatory audit trails, and simplifies trend analysis through structured tagging. We spend far less time sorting feedback and preparing compliance evidence, while better prioritizing infrastructure adjustments based on aggregated team insights.

 ### 4. Robust Privacy Controls, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prakash R. | Senior IT Infrastructure & Compliance Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

For a German IT firm bound by GDPR, BSI IT-Grundschutz and HGB recordkeeping rules, Iterate’s baked-in privacy management is its standout strength. It automatically strips identifying respondent data from all submissions, and configurable data retention timers let us enforce exact storage timelines required by local regulators without manual cleanup. Every survey entry generates immutable audit logs ready for regulatory reviews, slashing hours of compliance documentation prep each quarter. The custom tagging system lets us categorize feedback by hybrid cloud pain points, access control flaws or integration issues, so my team can instantly triage critical infrastructure improvements. The no-code survey creator is also approachable; our junior IT coordinators can launch targeted client feedback campaigns without waiting on senior engineers.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

The biggest pain point is the complete lack of native syncs for widely deployed German self-hosted tools, including our internal Nextcloud storage and on-prem CRM platform. We’re stuck exporting and importing CSV files manually every time we need to link feedback to specific client deployments, which introduces room for human error in our HGB audit trails. Audit log outputs don’t match the standardized format BSI auditors request, so every report needs full manual reformatting before inspections. The platform also lacks tiered, compliance-focused role permissions: there’s no way to lock junior staff out of raw identifiable feedback, forcing my compliance team to continuously monitor user access to avoid GDPR violations. Complex multi-section compliance surveys are also restricted by rigid survey logic builders.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Iterate, we relied on basic open-source survey tools that offered zero automated data anonymization or audit tracking, leaving our team to manually scrub every response to meet German security standards. We also wasted dozens of hours each month sorting unlabeled feedback to separate compliance and infrastructure issues. Iterate eliminates these two core pain points entirely. Its native privacy safeguards reduce GDPR risk by removing manual data redaction work, and segmented tagging streamlines feedback triage. All collected user insights stay fully regulatory-aligned, streamlining our process for refining client-facing IT systems and preparing for mandatory security audits.

 ### 5. Iterate Makes Customer Feedback Easy and Actionable Across Channels

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

What I like best about Iterate is how easy it makes collecting and acting on customer feedback. The platform feels intuitive to use, and I especially value the ability to gather insights across multiple channels while keeping everything centralized. The survey setup is straightforward, and the reporting helps turn feedback into actionable decisions instead of just collecting data. It’s been a helpful way to better understand customer behavior and improve experiences more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

One area for improvement is the reporting customization and deeper analytics capabilities. While the platform makes it easy to collect feedback, there are times when creating more tailored dashboards or drilling further into trends would make insights even more actionable. Some additional flexibility in exports and advanced segmentation would also help for more complex use cases.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterate is helping solve the challenge of collecting meaningful customer feedback and turning it into clear, actionable insights. Instead of relying on scattered comments or manual processes, it centralizes feedback and makes it easier to identify trends, understand customer needs, and prioritize improvements. This has helped streamline decision-making, save time on analysis, and ultimately support better customer experiences.

 ### 6. Versatile Tool for Engaging Brand Communities, Needs Better Data Handling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

I really appreciate Iterate’s comprehensive feedback management system which has transformed how I manage our WordPress-based brand communities. It centralizes community feedback in one dashboard, automatically sorting submissions by topic, sentiment, and user group, saving immense manual sorting time. The intuitive editor and diverse question formats make designing interactive quizzes and personality tests quick and straightforward. I can easily add variations like image options and branch questions, which keeps our content fresh and appealing to our community. Embed codes generated by Iterate integrate seamlessly with WordPress, eliminating the compatibility issues I faced with other tools. I value how lightweight and easy to operate Iterate is, making it fit perfectly for our small team of 11 to 50 people. The clear data statistics are particularly helpful for deriving useful insights and adjusting content strategies to ensure relevance and engagement. Moreover, the interface’s intuitive layout means it was easy to get up to speed with the core functions quickly.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

The data export and feedback classification functions are underdeveloped. A core part of my job is collecting and analyzing user feedback and quiz response data to understand community preferences. However, the data files exported from Iterate only present raw information without intelligent categorization. The system cannot automatically label responses by quiz type, user group, participation time, or feedback sentiment. Every time I pull large volumes of data, I need to spend hours sorting, filtering, and regrouping entries manually in spreadsheets, making the whole feedback analysis process tedious and time-consuming.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterate helps me quickly create engaging content like quizzes, streamline feedback collection, and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. It reduces manual sorting, fits our small team's needs cost-effectively, and keeps community content interactive while enhancing user participation and data analysis.

 ### 7. A Clear Framework for Managing Multiple Experiments, From Idea to Execution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

The best thing about this platform is that it provides us with a clear framework for managing multiple experiments, making things easier from idea to execution. Their dashboard is very clean and intuitive. Their data-driven decisions make the work easier, rather than the guesswork. Also, they give a complete balance between product, marketing and growth modules and teams.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

Their initial onboarding takes more tech expert help, which prolongs the onboarding time. Some customisation in reporting modules is very limited; those features need to be fine-tuned further. This will be more effective when the company is equipped with the data matured structure in place.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterate helps me solve the problem of experimenting with the market modules in-house. We also have centralised growth experiments into a single structured workflow. This also helps me to keep track metrics, learnings and outcomes. It also helps in building the centralised optimisation system. It delivers ROI on growth initiatives.

 ### 8. Developer-Friendly with Quick Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

I love that Iterate is a product-focused survey tool built for teams that want feedback in the moment. It's extremely developer-friendly and super easy to implement in apps or websites, making it great for product, UX, and SaaS teams needing contextual, in-app feedback. This tool turns vague feedback into specific, timely product insights, which is exactly what product and UX teams need. The initial setup was relatively simple and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

I find Iterate less ideal for long, standalone surveys. It's built for short, contextual in-app surveys and feels too limited for longer market research, academic surveys, or detailed questionnaires.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterate for its ease of implementation and developer-friendly environment, which helps transform vague feedback into specific, timely insights. It's perfect for teams needing in-app feedback to understand user behavior and improve user experience.

 ### 12. clunky surveys with questions

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eman A. | IT Director, Government Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

Finding Iterate makes the process of getting feedback from my team is simple. So quick to respond and even create your own surveys, the template builder keeps me asking the right things. In addition, the visual dashboards are wonderful: I see the results as a whole and resolve whether visible or not a certain trend or pattern.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

My only annoying thing is this lack of integrations. I may be able to conduct surveys through my email, but it would be extraordinary if Iterate could integrate right away with tools like Asana or Trello. At least I would no longer hop from one source to another storing all the feedback data.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterate has come into play in how I interact and get opinions from others. We will no longer have loads of dusty paper questionnaires or suffer from someone avoiding us as we try to gather responses. I can either be clear, quick or easy on getting actionable insights from my team since the aspects are made clear in a way that I like to. This gives me the ability to make good decisions anytime preventing the projects from getting into a wrong path.

The platform is a little overpriced compared to its competition. The customer support is lacking on few areas. Overall the platform is pretty good I don't have any major complaints so far.

 ### 20. Less is more: when customer feedback is turned into insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar M. | Digital Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Iterate?**

We like the "less is more" approach where a user can give us feedback by answering a single question. Of course, the question should target the main concerns about the product or service, like, "why did you decide to cancel your subscription" and offer the 3 top reasons users cancel the plan.
It's mobile-first, which means you can fit the experience to your mobile audience.

**What do you dislike about Iterate?**

Pricing may need some adjustment, the $25 plan won't let you send email surveys and that's a "must-have" in most entry-level plans. Other than that, I think the pricing is right. Maybe a $10 or $15 plan can really entice more people to try the software. Let me tell you: once you see HOW EASY is to implement this solution in a codeless way... game over, you're subscribed.

**Recommendations to others considering Iterate:**

You should have your developers on board: they are the ones who will need the insights, they are the ones who can help you create the questions to unlock that valuable knowledge.

**What problems is Iterate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to check our blind spots. Our users are perfect for that.
We have a small team, so every new feature we develop must have some level of acceptance. We can "field test" ideas we have and check if they have acceptance by our top users.

 ### 21. Awesome Survey system
