# Can I use my existing Braze or Iterable segments to target surveys?

Our Braze and Iterable segments took real effort to build, and we keep them current. I don't want to rebuild that logic inside a separate survey tool or maintain it in two places. How does Iterate handle audience targeting?

Yes. You target surveys with the same Braze and Iterable segments you've already built, so there's nothing to rebuild and no second audience to maintain. Iterate doesn't copy or store your segments, it uses them directly. You set up the campaign in Braze or Iterable, pick your segment the way you always do, and drop in the survey, whether it's an email or an in-app message. Braze or Iterable decides who receives it, so your targeting is always your current segment, never a stale snapshot.
