The client even paid extra for LinkedIn distribution — which never happened. To make it worse, the company admitted via email that they couldn’t fulfill the majority of what they guaranteed in the first place. From an outside perspective, this operation reeks of a scam: they only showed a shred of concern after the issue was publicly called out on LinkedIn. That is what took me at first. **What do you dislike about IssueWire?** Very low quality distrubution network for Tier 2 Pro package **What problems is IssueWire solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was searching for a affordable PR Release service for my business. I used their Tier2 Pro package for a professional written PR text. When I check the report they sent, I realised most of the websites (99%) is garbage. They have 0 visitors and Google does not index my PR release post on them. So basically they are SPAMs. I paid for a service to get spam backlinks. There is 1-2 websites that I was aiming and they removed the my PR text immediately. So, basically I left with a index only their webpage (which is available in FREE) and not valuable. I am very disappointed with the quality (I know it is cheap and I paid 65bucks, not free...) Do not ever use this service for backlink building. ### 5. I mailed them and then went on to the live chat and really did help me figure out the problem and rectified the mistake I made. I have no idea if the post will feed into peoples aggregated news feeds, and I have no idea if the backlink will be of any worth. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I've never had a hard time with it and always like the price point for customers who just want to have their news release published online and to see that it's syndicated on the web. **What do you dislike about IssueWire?** I've had a few tech clients that wanted to be listed on newsletters and websites that gather news from press releases and realized that those lists are automatically feeding their newswire content from PR Newswire/Cision, which means it will never make it onto those feeds. If you want that kind of attention for the release it's important to go with something that lists it onto the Cision platform, so they can find it there. **What problems is IssueWire solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use this tool for PR clients that really want a formal press release for their news either for their leadership to see that it's on important news-related sites, or because they believe it supports long-term SEO and searchability for their announcements. ### 12. But this turned out to be a scam. **What do you dislike about IssueWire?** 1. Most of the news sites they show in their distribution list are unknown names and have little credibility, forget DA. 2. The press release gets released in sub-domain links and not the actual domain of the news site (for e.g., www.MARKETS.ask.com/ and not in www.ask.com/) 3. Furthermore, most of the links in the distribution report were the same link, over and over again. 4. We were promised distribution through Google News, etc. But this was not delivered. Overall, IssueWire is a scam conjob. Please don't spend any money here, unless you are releasing some insignificant news. To end this review, please check their website thoroughly. They do not even indicate where they are incorporated. And their T&C is framed in such a manner that once you have paid the money, there is little you can do to get them to deliver what they promised. I would even go to say that all these positive reviews posted here are actually fake, just to fool marketers. I have not seen a single benefit of this service. Not a single release is a half/quarter-decent news site.
