"Best-in-Class Mac Management with Integrated EDR and Vulnerability Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iru?

Ease of use. It's the best Mac management software out there. I like that it can have EDR and vulnerability management integrated into the platform. Support team is good. The system is under active development and improving all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Windows support is basic, but getting better. Most of my dislikes are nitpicks are getting fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Device Management with Powerful Endpoints"
4/5
What do you like best about Iru?

I really like the blueprint function and the ability to do conditional logic based on different attributes of different devices. That's been really helpful for us so far. I also really like the ability to add new software to the library catalog, which we can then add to the app store that's available on people's laptops so that they can easily install stuff without having to go out onto the Internet and do it themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The only thing I could think of is the ability to add our own custom software to the catalog. I believe right now, we have to request it to be done on the Iru side, but sometimes it'd be nice if we could just do it ourselves. Especially for, like, a homegrown application that we develop in house. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One-Stop Solution for Device Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Iru?

I really like that Iru is a one-stop shop for managing all of our devices. It's very user friendly, and I didn't need any specialized training. I was able to follow their documentation to create a well-built system for our business. The ease of use, alongside cost and customer service, was a big factor for switching from Hexnode. The initial setup was very easy. I also appreciate how Iru helps us manage app control on iPads and Macs with its blueprint system, scan for vulnerabilities, implement patch management, and integrate Google Workspace for a secure login system. What do you dislike about Iru?

Windows is still a new feature in their tool belt and is continuously being upgraded. I'm looking forward to additional features that they are adding for that platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Reliable Service with Great UI/UX at a Competitive Price"
4/5
What do you like best about Iru?

Straight-forward service that works. Good UI/UX, performs as expected, and price has remained competitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

As a nonprofit, we'd like to see discount pricing and exceptions for price increases when there is not license growth. Technology management is hard enough for small organizations, and Iru has a chance to claim this market with good offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive user interface; fewer clicks to accomplish tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Slower Windows/Android adoption; most of our fleet is Apple hardware, but would be nice to have everything under one roof Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excelent MDM for Apple (and now Windows) devices - Powerful yet easy to use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iru?

Although some skepticism in the community (which is normal when an Apple-only tool extends support for Windows devices), Iru keeps being an exceptional tool. They've not only welcomed Windows devices, but they have also kept releasing features for the Apple ecosystem.

I see this extension as an opportunity for my company to manage different devices from a platform I'm already familiar with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

As I mentioned previously, their EDR solution is not yet at the level of some competitors.

Something that I would like to see is a more open approach to pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Seamless Transition, and Phenomenal Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Iru?

The platform and interface are incredibly easy to navigate and use. You don’t need years of MDM experience to get it up and running. We transitioned from Jamf several years ago, and the move was fairly seamless. Customer support has consistently been phenomenal. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on getting my questions answered and issues resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

When we transitioned from Jamf several years ago, you can tell it's lacking some of the granular capabilities and features of Jamf, but Kandji/Iru seems to be putting out new updates to close those gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rock-Solid macOS Management That Just Works"
5/5
What do you like best about Iru?

We have been using Iru for macOS management for the past few years, and the biggest thing for us is reliability. It just works. New hires receive a Mac that is ready on day one with the right apps and security settings already in place. Updates and policy changes happen in the background without creating disruption. For a team that is mostly Mac based, that consistency has made a real difference Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

There was a bit of a learning curve early on as we refined our policies and figured out the best way to structure things for our environment. It took some upfront time to get everything dialed in. Once it was set up properly though, it has been very steady. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
