IONOS have made their cancellation process extremely difficult and convoluted, and they use that to "un-cancel" and auto-renew your contracts without warning or notification. Would not recommend this company to an enemy. They had the best customer support, the best products, the best pricing. This is supposed to be about what I like best about IONOS. The answer: Nothing. Nothing at all. **What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?** IONOS customer service is beyond useless. Our company purchased Microsoft 365 through IONOS. We immediately began having issues. It has not worked correctly once in the entire time we've had it. Contacting IONOS support, they said we have to contact Microsoft. They gave us the number. Calling that number pushes us to a website, which in turn tells us we have to use IONOS support since we purchased it through IONOS. And it gives us the IONOS support number. For 3 weeks, I've been calling about 2FA errors. Today, I spent five hours on the phone. Three times, IONOS insisted I contact Microsoft. I was even told what I had just experienced had not happened. I asked for the call to be escalated to a supervisor. One agent flat out refused. Two others insisted supervisors were not available. Our 2FA still is not working, and here is the best part: They kept insisting I had to log into the global administrator account to fix the problem. I told them, repeatedly, over...and over...and over...again I *was* logged into the global administrator account. When, at last, the agent accepted I was logged into the GAA, she then said "Now disabled 2FA." Um...where? How? What do I click on. "You just click on it to disable it." Already called more than 10 times. They can't or do not want to fix it. Our country is fighting for our freedom against a brutal russian invasion. And instead of the support - they blocked my domain and my business, which help my family to survive. The only option they suggested is to ask for the authorization code to transfer domain. I did that on January 26 but I still don't have anything. Their support is useless, they send me from one to another and every time asking me to provide the same information like domain name, which I obviously provided at least three times. Taking into account a several days response for every email we have over two weeks of delay. My business stopped. I can't operate my business and feed my family. Ionos is one of the cheapest website hosts I know of and you get a decent amount of web space for what you pay for. They do not make the sign up simple (especially if you just want a normal Wordpress site) and upsell everything at every opportunity. They had problems processing the payment for two domains ($15). They sent one email that went to spam. They said their email delivery is not their problem. They sent no snail mail, no phone call, nothing. They immediately sent me to collections for $15 after I had literally spent thousands with them. I paid the collection company with the same payment method that Ionos said they couldn't process. Now they said that it will take three days or so before my domains (email and websites) can be reactivated and there's nothing they can do. The Customer Service supervisor refused to get on the phone with me. I used to refer them for hosting, but no more. Nowadays I'm still surprised because all my data stay untouchable, the service not only changes his face the performance improves, the attention it's even better, competitive prices and the reliable service to which you were accustomed. They have a great WebMail Client so you can access anytime anywhere with a responsive design that works perfect on mobiles and if you need more space they can bring you more if needed. **What do you dislike about IONOS 1&1 Domains and hosting?** This is not a dislike as could sound, I have a little issue with an email overquoted and I have to pay an additional amount to get more space, up to this point all right but my credit card expires and the charge of the email additional space didn't pass and all the account was blocked even the regular email current in payment. IONOS offers pre-designed page templates, it is perfect for basic projects where you need a page quickly. I pay all my services with PayPal.
