It allows us to define our custom categories for devices and allows us to set prices for each. The entire workflow is time-driven so there is little to do on our end to track the timing of due/dates and notices. The program was very easy to set up and once all of our settings were filled in we were off and running. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** The only thing that I would consider for improvement is the way bills are generated. They are created through templates that must be built on the back-end through php. While I have not trouble with this, I know colleagues that would love to see a more robust front-end template tool. **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** InvoicePlane cut down on manual billing hours. It allowed us to standardize our invoice workflow and ensure users receive thoroughly explained bills. We host this internally on our server, so the cost is also reduced from the previous software. ### 2. You can quote them using old invoices you have sent out in the past for them to read and sign off on. You can also see exactly when they opened an invoice, and when they pay it making. This allows you to follow up on a client after a sale completes. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** Sometimes InvoicePlane doesn't correctly sync up with our CRM, and it gets frustrating **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** If you need an easy way to send out invoices & quotes, I highly recommend InvoicePlane it comes with a plethora of features that will make your sales flow smoother! **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With InvoicePlane, we're able to quote our prospects with proper pricing and get an invoice sent out the same day for a client to sign off on and pay. It makes our sales flow way smoother when transactions are done online rather than in person as we can free up time for selling rather than in-person meetings ### 3. It comes with email tracking which allows you to see when a client has opened an email as well as know when they pay it too. I also love the analytics that come with it so you can see projects of future revenue and total sales per rep. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** The only thing I could dislike about the app is how basic it looks, it can use a major rehaul on it's entire UI. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** If you need an easy way to invoice your clients as well as have analytical data that can be used to better improve your sales cycle, I recommend looking into intergrating Invoice Plane with your company! **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Invoice Plane we are easily able to invoice our clients as well as keep track of payments and sales internally within the company. We have found Invoice Plane to be the best choice because it easily intergrates with our payment processors and CRM. Allowing for the sales representatives to create quotes and send out custom templated invoices from our companies to our clients. ### 4. This helps you keep track of your monthly sales as well as your future sales. My favorite feature is the ability to sort out the invoices by where they are in the sales process. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** I dislike that this is a separate application from our CRM, but it helps as the information is also directly added into our CRM's notes. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** I would highly recommend InvoicePlane for quoting and invoicing. This allows you to easily be able to keep track of your sales, and confirm you are getting paid. **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With InvoicePlane, we are easily able to quote, and invoice our clients. We are also able to keep track of when a client sends opens our invoice, as well as pays the invoice. Overall this helps keep us motivated and organized, seeing what happens after we close the sale, as well as record the sale in the books for our accounting department. ### 5. Integrate it with your CRM **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With InvoicePlane, are using this to keep track of our current invoices and quotes that we send out to our clients. This makes it easy to pull up anyone who is on our teams sales and predict our quarterly quotas. We have found this to be very beneficial as we can always keep track of our clients quotes directly in the app throughout the sales cycle. ### 6. I have realized this allows us to keep track of sales that would otherwise be lost. I also love that it auto-reminds your clients about their quotes in 30-35-60 days. ### 7. My favorite part is clients are able to pay directly or sign the invoice wasting no time getting contracts. Not only can you keep track of your sales, but Invoice Plane also has a leaderboard showcasing the most sales. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** I dislike that it looks very basic and has to be configured to an actual business before being implemented. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** I love invoice plane, if you don't like the math side of sales. Invoice plane will take care of that for you by providing you with great margins and quotes for your product based on industry! **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Invoice Plane, we're able to generate quotes almost instantly over the phone with clients and then send over a contract to be signed online or an invoice that can be paid via email. This eliminates alot of hassle trying to physically set up a meeting to get a contract signed when everything can be done online. ### 8. Invoice plane connects to your CRM and allows you to create Invoices to send to your clients. From there you can see when your client opens the invoice and when they pay it. After Paid they have a time stream showing the recent invoiced paid. They also allow you to reuse old invoices in the system. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** I dislike that it's a self hosted application, meaning it isn't directly in the CRM but you have to go to a separate part of the website in order to view it. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** I would highly recommend getting invoice plane, it speeds up alot of the paperwork needed when you're making a sale. It also helps to ensure that you're able to invoice and keep track of payments for your clients! **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With invoice plane we are able to keep track of how much our clients are worth based on the recent invoices they paid. I love that we can see how much they've paid as well as sending out new invoices to clients you just billed. We have seen this speeds up the process of getting payments since you don't have to wait in the mail for an invoice form and a paycheck. ### 9. It has great features that allow you to create professional invoices. You can create clients who then order products where you can easily add quantities and have the math done including taxes and VAT for you. You can also send the client an Quote so they can approve it. The web interface is mobile and desktop friendly and PDFs can be exported without issue. There is so many other features to go over so i suggest checking it out **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** There are only two types of users. View Only and Administrator. Having someone in the middle to create and edit invoices but not be able to touch administration or delete invoices would be nice. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** Don't use the PDF password function it can cause damage somtimes **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a fabulous way to keep track of customers and paperwork. It is hassle free and I can use it anywhere and my customers love it. ### 10. I also like how this is easily integrated into our CRM dashboard allowing us view our quotes on our in. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** What i dislike about Invoice Plane is that it isn't a full-blow CRM. It only keeps records of proposals, when you invoice a client and their response. We have it integrated into our CRM to make it easy to use. **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** It's a free and open-source product that allows you to track sales progress. It's a must in a sales environment. **What problems is InvoicePlane solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Invoice Plane we are able to keep track of the quotes we send out to the clients and know when they open up a proposal. This makes it easy for us to know if we are being ghosted by a client. ### 12. I also love being able to send out my payment processor throughout an email. **What do you dislike about InvoicePlane?** The only thing I don't like is that this isn't a full blown CRM. I would love if would be able to integrate this into my Salesforce CRM. You have to go out of your way to export your client list from your crm to invoice plane individually. I would like to see a feature that would allow us to import a list via excel file. (.xlsx) **Recommendations to others considering InvoicePlane:** I would recommend using Invoice Plane in the combination of a CRM and Quickbooks.
