I particularly like that Inventory Planner by Sage works well and enables us to manage our stock between multiple warehouses efficiently. We operate in several locations, including the UK and Europe, and Inventory Planner helps us control our total inventory while allowing us to manage specific location inventories. This feature is incredibly useful because it helps us minimize exposure to duties and taxes by enabling us to dispatch goods to the appropriate jurisdictions efficiently and manage suppliers to direct goods to specific warehouses. Some of the reporting requirements aren't particularly helpful, so we often have to export data into Sage for further analysis. The initial setup was also challenging because we had to carefully plan to meet our reporting requirements, especially as we operate across multiple jurisdictions. IP really helped us to get a handle on our SOH and forecasting. It does a better job of reporting on Cin7 database information than Cin7 itself does. Integrates with Cin7, obviously. The user interface is easy to understand and has significant depth to it. It works quickly. The price is a little on the high side, unfortunately. Inventory Planner gives us a central and much clearer overview of our inventory position. The replenishment recommendations, sales forecasts and purchasing reports help us decide which products need to be reordered and in what quantities. This has reduced the amount of manual spreadsheet work required and has made our purchasing process more consistent.

The platform has a learning curve, especially when first setting up the forecasting rules and understanding the different reports. The quality of the recommendations also depends on having accurate product and sales data. Once the system is correctly configured, however, it becomes significantly easier to use. I really appreciate how easy it is to log in and set up the dashboard in Inventory Planner by Sage. It makes it so simple to set up views that make the most sense to me, and I love the ease of use. The dashboard is easy to see and understand, which is great. I appreciate being able to default the view to months, days, or weeks and look at multiple locations simultaneously. We didn't get a huge amount of training to begin with, so I am by no means an expert. Training call scheduled in two weeks so that should help. The replenishment/overstock report can sometimes throw up strange suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IP has been extremely helpful in PO management. The reporting features are clear and insightful, and the level of customization allows processes to be tailored easily to specific needs. One downside is the inability to export reports with embedded images, as exports currently only include image URLs, which creates extra manual work when visual documentation is required. There is also no option to bulk IP tag products within transfer and PO orders. This makes it difficult to accurately track when a product has gone into a store and when it has been taken out, rather than only seeing the last received date, which may simply reflect a refill. Inventory Planner has become an essential tool for our purchasing department. We use it daily, and it now serves as the central system for our team. The ability to set up key reports for automatic distribution and to configure default views for specific tasks highlights the system's versatility. Inventory Planner, synced with Linnworks, has made a big difference to how we manage purchasing and stock. Planning and creating purchase orders is now much easier and far more organised.

The forecasting is clear, reliable, and simple to update when needed. Stock-outs are minimal, stock holding is at a healthy level, and we no longer experience the overstocks we had in previous years before using the platform.
