## About Intezer
Intezer automates the entire alert triage process, like an extension of your team handling Tier 1 SOC tasks for every alert at machine-speed. Intezer monitors incoming incidents from endpoint, reported phishing pipelines, or SIEM tools, then autonomously collects evidence, investigates, makes triage decisions, and escalates only the serious threats to your team for human intervention. Power your SOC with artificial intelligence that makes sure every alert is deeply analyzed (including every single artifact like files, URLs, endpoint memory, etc.), detecting malicious code in memory and other evasive threats. Fast set up and integrations with your SOC team's workflows (EDR, SOAR, SIEM, etc.) means Intezer's AI can immediately start filtering out false positives, giving you detailed analysis about every threat, and speeding up your incident response time. With Intezer: • Reduce Tier 1 escalation, sending only 4% of alerts on average to your team for immediate action. • Identify up to 97% of false positive alerts without taking any time from your analysts. • Reduce average triage time to 5 minutes or less, while giving your analysts deep context about every alert to prioritize critical treats and respond faster.

Intezer has a friendly UI, performs code analysis and Integration with our EDR solution is a good match for our security operations team in a daily basis, implementation was easy and they provide excellent customer support.

Alerts Enrichment to our EDR Alerts.
Malware Analysis and Sandboxing

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

> Thanks for the review! Thrilled to hear Intezer is helping your team every day and implementation was easy! Helps quickly detect security attacks. In our large clients, a multitude of events are generated that have to be reviewed manually. Thanks to Intezer, this task is carried out automatically and quickly, leaving out human errors.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

It would help even more if they included Artificial Intelligence, especially to detect the unknown. With this addition they would surely increase the detection.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Detection of attacks in Crowdstrike, which allows us to automatically and quickly know if we are exposed to danger or already to an incident. Provides quick insight and saves a ton of time.

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

Feel free to reach out to us if you have specific feedback or want additional support for leveraging our AI capabilities more. I'm not sure where your team is based since we have customers around the globe, but we can also offer a technical session in another language like Spanish if that's helpful 😁

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Ease of use, Feature rich environment that can make even a novice an SOC analyst. You can also integrate it in many web tools.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

none so far it does the job and an excellent job at it

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually use it to crosscheck any malware analysis that I have done

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

 ### 7. Great solution to analyze malwares

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SAIFUL H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

It is easy to use and reliable with ease of implementation

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Too much unneccessary information provided sometimes.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malware analysis

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

> Thanks for your review! Malware analysis is a key feature of Intezer and especially popular for our free users - we highlight key insights so anyone can understand if Intezer has discovered malicious code.

As you noted, Intezer provides very detailed analysis reports with more information than some users need, but is critical for cybersecurity professionals and incident responders.

 ### 8. Fast and efficient detection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur J. | Principal Process Manager, Continuous Improvement, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I enjoy how the entire software is checked for any odd behavior the app could have. This can identify whether the software is potentially malicious or undesired. With quick analysis and practical file evaluation using reverse engineering skills, the best sandboxing and proactive threat-hunting capabilities are used. With extracted IoCs, TTP, and sophisticated detection, chances to look for infections and develop on your needs aids in actively searching for sophisticated threats based on threat actors and malware families.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I have nothing against anything. However, I would want an export feature and additional analysis parts. I use them for most of my samples more often every day. Platforms like Intezer make the task incredibly simple in light of the current trend of malware attacks that are highly complex and equipped with anti-VM and VM escape features, leading to speedy reaction and IOC compilation.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Intezer Analyze, we test the service's analysis on training files that aren't harmful and, sometimes, run a file hash, IP address, URL, or other indication through the scanner to learn more about the file's malware family, known as wild occurrences and further vital details.

 ### 9. It is more than a Incident Response! It is AUTOMATED RESPONSE!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norakmal Z. | SOC Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I like the interface; user friendly, easy to configure and Reduce more task than you imagine. Automated everything with existing workflow and reduced tier 1 escalation, the most critical aspect of current cybersecurity!

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

You can do 50 free scans on the free tier, which is not helpful if you want to test on a large-scale network. You cannot test the full capabilities and speed of the automated escalation within the large-scale network on the free tier level. You will need to pay more, even only to test it out. Probably increasing it to 100 would be helpful for others!

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing Tier 1 Escalation using existing automated workflow. The speed of alert response time is reduced by more than 90% due to automated workflow. This will benefit hiring Tier 1 SOC Analysts within the company.

 ### 10. Intezer Analyze: Fast. Easy. Thorough. Accurate. Threat Analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Principal Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

In our experience with Analyze we have been most impressed with the easy and intuitive interface. Simply cut a d and paste the file path or url and submit. It's that easy.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Our overall experience with Analyze was positive. In comparison to similar solutions, Analyze emerged as the clear leader. Our only issue was one 24 hour wait for a response to an email sent seeking customer support. As they continue to grow we have no doubt the customer service reply times will improve.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analyze allows our company to quickly get trusted information on potential threats in real time. This has allowed us to improve response times to end customers and maintain a competitive advantage in our offering.

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

> Thanks for your review, we're tried to make analyzing evidence easy even for our free users!

As a tip - if you do have an upgraded account, you can use Intezer's integrations to automatically collect file paths, URLs, etc. so you can save even more time. No need to cut and paste anything :)

 ### 11. Amazing Tool for Security Analysts!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gopi Krishnan P. | Cybersecurity Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

The best part about the tool is that it is fast and efficent. I appreciate the detailed information provided by the tool about the malwares. I have used similar tools but will rank Intezer Analyze as the best.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Could provide more information about the artifact and what it means. Received solution but had to research other places to find more about the artifacts. Other than that, the tool is perfect and highly recommended.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often use the Intezer Analyze to check for Malwares in the file and for suspicious URLs. They're really helpful for my research and my performance has increases after using Intezer Analyze.

 ### 12. Amazing security platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos P. | Information Technology Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Amazing security platform it scanned my computer in a short amount of time and it was extremely simple to use as well as having quite a clean UI overall an excellent service .

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Although it was great I do have to say that the limitations on the amount t of scans can be buggy since even if you accidentally close the process and the scan is incomplete it will count towards the limit.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intezer is solving the issues of complicated ram analysis and other security practices it's resolving it by making it quick and easy to use and open to anyone interested.

 ### 13. professional sandbox with high success rate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ben haim k. | security analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Intezer provides a detailed analysis for various files and includes valuable information presented in a very intuitive and easy on the eyes way.
highly recommended for any cyber analysts.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The free model is restricted to only ten monthly analyses, which is often insufficient.
Adding an option to change them can be nice, but overall the overlay of the website is pretty good!

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Indeed help me analyze samples of complicated malware, mostly in cases where running it in my lab is pretty tricky because of anti-VM checks. and in cases where arguments or other dependencies are required.

 ### 14. Very Efficient tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan K. | Security analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Intezer analysis works best in malware analysis. It is the most efficient tool at the industrial level and the work and the level of research it performs is really up to the mark.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

It is a bit costly for advanced usage and provides fewer features in the free version. Though I understand on a corporate level, this does affect new learners and student researchers.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems like large-scale analysis of different malware samples are what intezer is doing best to solve. This has undoubtedly been an easier tool to use and remarkable in terms of the results it provides.

 ### 15. The bester malware analyzing platform I've seen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antony B. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

The best thing about Intezer are the details that are given. Its not just telling me, if it is malware or not, it also tells me how the malware works, and how it enters my system.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I dont really have any dislikes about Intezer! As I already said, its the best platform I know right now, and theres a reason for it. I have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now Im learing about cybersecurity and malware because I got really interested into that topic. Intezer helps me understand how malware is made and spread.

 ### 16. My experience has been great with zero issues. I would highly recommend it.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Malik A. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

What I like the best about it is the fact that it can scan malware very deeply and you are able to get into the roots of it. This helps so you can identify if what you are going to open is a infected program.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

What I dislike about it is the fact that you are only allowed to scan malware 10 times a month with the free model. So that may not be enough for people. But other than that I would recommend it to people who want to be safe.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that Intezee Analyze is solving is how I am able to scan my potential malware, tjis benefits me since I do not have to launch up a virtual machine and spend more time.

 ### 17. Perfect application for quick analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe B. | student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Perfect for analyzing a binary and reviewing the information in a concise way without having to use multiple programs to get the answers wanted. The other competitors often have verbose output of values that aren't useful, intezer has the right balance between information and simplicity with a lovely ui to add a bonus

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

perhaps some more advanced analysis if required in some cases since more analysis was needed but just the manual option of specifying more analysis or perhaps some API I could use to pull the analysis dynamically as part of a plugin would also be quite benifical

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatic analysis offers a quick insight into the application being analysed and allows manual analysis to be done much quicker so more productive and keeps the boss happy!

 ### 18. My Experience with Intezer Analyze

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I like being able to see an in-depth analysis of unknown programs and what their capabilities are.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I dislike how some of the features are behind a paywall.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can use this tool to tell if a file is malicious or not which influences my decision on whether or not I should run it.

 ### 19. Easy and intuitive to use, allowing for quick and thorough analysis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

It was easy to figure out the layout, which allowed me to become comfortable with regularly submitting items for analysis. Because of the simplicity of it, I regularly submitted items to be reviewed there, instead of other sandbox environments.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The speed of the analysis would be something that I'd like to see improved if possible, especially since there are times when speed is of the essence. And possibly the ability to see if other's have viewed samples I have submitted.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me efficiently and reliably classify files as malicious or not for the environment. There are many times when I am not sure of a file, and by submitting it, Intezer provides useful information to help classify it, thus keeping our environment safe.

 ### 20. Intezer Analyze has saved me from malicious programs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan V. | IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I like the execution process of the program that I analyze, Intezer Analyze makes it easy to determine whether or not a program is legitimate or malicious.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I am limited to 10 file checks per month, which limits the ability to check for files on the computers. If we cannot check, we might get targeted for cyber attacks.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We check all of our files first with Intezer Analyze. It gives us a piece of mind against cyberattacks. We have problems identifying legitimate or malicious files.

 ### 21. Lots of data available for low input

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel B. | Ceo and Founder (And homeschool student), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

From what I have seen, this tool utilizes algorithms and machine learning in a way that provides an optimal amount of information. I really appreciate the peace of mind found in being able to tell whether an email attachment or suspicious file is dangerous.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Perhaps the only downside that occurs to me at the moment is that you cannot control who can see your files in certain circumstances, but then again that is a good thing in some ways as it allows for peer review.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This too allows me to easily identify and diagnose suspicious files easier, and time is money soooo you do the math. Again the speed and simplicity is a fantastic factor.

**Official Response from Shannon McFarland:**

> Thanks for reviewing the Free features! Private analysis is a default feature for all Intezer's upgraded plans, which include integrations to automatically ingest various types of alerts and collect evidence for AI analysis. The Free version is for sharing analyses with the public security community and researchers. **Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

I really like the ease of how you can analyse anything the website does look very complicated but if you look closely it's doable
In the past three years or so I've always had people sending me pdfs wich I didn't always trust so I basically scan those files and saved me a couple of times I really love the service 👍♥️

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The website itself is super hard to learn I would love to have one of those buttons to change the website so it's easier to understand and much faster and I always have problems with the drag and drop functions its super laggy and selects different files but besides all of that I love the service:)

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All the emails that I get with pdf files I can scan very quickly there is also a 14 days free trial wich is the best thing ever for my friends so they can use intezer too you can also check files that are similar to other files wich is a bit complicated but super useful because I know exactly how dangerous the file is and search up the other names to get a better understanding of what sort of file it is

**Reviewed by:** Derek W. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Man, where do I start with this one? You can compare Intezer to VirusTotal, but in my opinion, it blows Virus Total out of the water. Easy endpoint scanning, easy setup, clear user-friendly interface, extremely detailed scan results.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The pricing model is confusing and arbitrary, sometimes scans are a little bit ambiguous in terms of "is this file malicious or not". I understand that's the name of the game, but a community voting system like Virus Total has would go a long way to making the results a little more human-friendly.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up a lightweight endpoint scanner as a consumer seems nearly impossible these days unless you go with something like Alienvault OXT, and let's be fair, that isn't exactly the most user-friendly setup. Intezer is the perfect "enterprise-grade" endpoint scanner, but with consumer-grade ease of use and interface. It seems that the folks at Intezer may have struck gold with their product, but will end up totally missing the mark, simply because they seem to ignore who their biggest potential customer base is. How is it that no company has yet to realize that security ENTHUSIASTS exist and deserve a product as well?

 ### 30. Insightful

**Reviewed by:** Deven A. | Security Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

The graphs and in-depth analysis with supporting evidence made it so easy to review and understand.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I'd love it if it also had a feature where a researcher could upload their analysis report, which would make it easier for others to learn who are new to this domain to do so.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to analyse malware without setting up a lab. It is also providing a platform where malware analyst can learn and more about different malware and apply that knowledge.

 ### 31. Super Helpful

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

The ease and effectiveness Intezer analyze provides for triaging the malware samples.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The only difficulty I faced is while trying to create SentinelOne hunt rules directly on selecting the required IOCs as it is constantly saying, "Need to re-analyze the sample."

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intezer is gathering all the pieces and providing a clear view of threat mapping with the mitre framework. I love it. The best part is its capability to perform static and dynamic analysis on the go within seconds.

 ### 32. Analyst Friendly TI Platform

> Thanks for the review, glad to hear you're finding it easy to get information for your investigations! Are you using integrations to automatically collect the files for analysis and triage? Sometimes a files isn't accessible for Intezer to collect, but if it's happening to a lot of files you should definitely let our support team know so they can determine why Intezer couldn't fetch the file for analysis from the integrated source

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

All the info and structure of scanned items go as far as you want up until I don't even understand it anymore. It's beneficial for somewhat skilled to very skilled people to both be able to work with it.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Dislike, not really anything, I hope more integrations will be made over time!

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping understand shady/unknown programs better and analyse otherwise marked false positives to see which strands are triggering that label and help preventing a security breach

 ### 35. Great first experience with Intezer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I was looking for a way to analyze a piece of malware that was coming up clean in antivirus scans but we knew it was bad and intezer was able to confirm the type of malware before it triggered any of our antivirus platforms.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I have nothing bad to say about it at this time. It did exactly what we needed. Sure there's a learning curve but overall very intuitive.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me determine that an file was in fact malware that had not been found in other AV databases at the time of the scan. The sandbox analysis helped us determine that we caught the malware in time.

 ### 36. Cloud Sandbox to analyze suspicious files

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Is in cloud, can analyze multiple files at the same time

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Sandbox is limited and can´t allow download the files created or modified

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Validate if a file its suspcious or not

 ### 37. Useful and informative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Intezer showed me similar files and all TTP associated with the sample on a single screen. I also find the code clusters feature to be extremely useful. MITRE ATT&CK technique discussion is beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

There is not much to dislike here, but the page looks cluttered sometimes and overwhelming. The page is slow to load, and it would be great if there were a light version of the same information.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intezer Analyze provides a quick and open analysis platform for security researchers to share data independently of their organization. They can create a standard for communication amongst the community.

 ### 38. G2, more than just a product, an experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

As easy to use as it is to understand. Intezer Analyze helped me determine whether any malware infected my hardware; thanks to the memory scan feature, it is as simple as 2 clicks.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Although I only used one of its features, I believe a helpful tool such as this one should offer limited free use instead of charging after only 14 days to keep using it at all.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me diagnose and determine whether a few of my machines were still infected by a malware virus that unfortunately invaded us sometime last year. I was able to determine this was not the case!

 ### 39. My most detailed analysis tool. Check out dynamic scan and TTPs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy H. | Team Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

The breakdowns of each section are great. It isn't "yes this is clean" it is "because of this code string here it is clean". Click to go through the code in a clean, broken down way so you can UNDERSTAND the code.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

The dynamic scan doesn't have python installed on machine so it cannot always check that but then you have static scan for that purpose so it is a small problem in reality.

**Recommendations to others considering Intezer:**

Use the free trial and decide for yourself.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Other tools such as Virtustotal only checking the hash and thinking it is clean because it hasn't been seen before is largely useless. Intezer is perfect for finding and dealing with new threats.

 ### 40. Great malware analysis tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swapnil J. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Real-time malware detection and alert feature are beneficial in protecting my business environment. Also gives trending analyses for research and information purpose.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

Sometimes triggers a false alert but is usually pretty accurate.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting my system and server from malware attacks by giving me real-time alerts. Also, regular library updates ensure a robust security and hence provide a safe and tension free server.

 ### 41. One of the best online tool to analyze threats & viruses. Best Alternative of Virustotal.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay R. | Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Intezer is one of the best online threats and viruses analysis tools, and it has amazing features and integrations compared to the other security tools. I like most Intezer's online analysis tool via uploading files. Where you can upload your suspicious file to analyze the threats. Intezer also has other analysis tools like URL, Memory Dump, Endpoint, and Secure your Cloud deployment using Intezer Protect.
Intezer gives you access to various platforms interaction with Plugins for Chrome, IDA tools and more.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

There are not much to dislike about it, their services are free limited services use, but you can consider it is their core business model. However, I like most if they can provide compressed file analysis like Virus total, but it's okay, we have to do little time-wasting work, like extracting the compressed file.

**Recommendations to others considering Intezer:**

Looking for a security tool that can help you to secure your systems or your company deployments, like servers, containers applications and more. Intezer can help you to analyze every application on your system. You can also do analysis by yourself using the online tool and find the malware threats genus etc.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using Virustotatal for many years but in this pandemic, I saw a couple of videos of some professionals using Intezer to analyze their files and documents. Afterwards, I thought I should also try, and it has way more features compared to Virustotal. Intezer also visualizes very well the threats family and gene and how particular threats are linked with each other.
We upload many files and content on our website, particularly code related, and you can't imagine which codes are infected, so using Intezer helps us to ensure that particular file is safe.

 ### 42. Best Platform for malware analysis! All in one place to get everything<3

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uddip R. | Research Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

I can stress it enough that intezer is so good at what it says. I am analyzing samples i collect from my hunt, and Intezer always gives me the closest results for the analysis. Taking the results from intezer, I do further research. I also love the code section, which shows up with the analysis

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I don't dislike anything, but I would like to have more analysis sections and an export feature. Rest I am using it more every day for most of my samples. With the current trend of malware attacks which are so sophisticated and coming with anti-VM, and VM escape features, platforms like intezer make the work very easy, which results in quick response and IOC creation

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The initial analysis part is being solved with the help of intezer, rest if i don't understand something or missing out on something, then the extended analysis is so helpful in those cases

One can easily analyze the most comprehensive and advanced threats without having broad malware analysis and reverse engineering skills. Intezer Analyze, accelerate Incident Response, and Alert Triage processes.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

URL analysis module can consist of more details and screenshots. It would be great if URL Analysis support user interaction and customize the VM which will be used for analysis.

**Recommendations to others considering Intezer:**

One would extremely find useful Intezer Analyze if consider saving time and effort. It is crucial to have more time to analyze latest cyber threats with the help of automation.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Easy to use,

Malware

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Maritime | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Intezer?**

Its how the tabs Genetic Analysis,TTPs,IOCs,Behavior,Detect & Hunt are laid out. Helped me quickly move to next step what most of the Analysts do. Plus, its the Plugins which is great and helped me a lot.

**What do you dislike about Intezer?**

I felt the Malware Analysis is expensive for an indiviual like me. I could not find anything on Yara based Threat Hunting. Another thing I would like to see is trigger an alert if an IoC is matched when something matches.

**What problems is Intezer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I most used it for Malware Analysis as a sandbox environment. Browser integration has helped a lot.
