Intertek Alchemy Reviews & Product Details

Intertek Alchemy is a frontline performance system built for manufacturers, food processors, packagers, and distributors. It goes beyond course completion and connects training, on-the-job observation, and supervisor coaching so companies can confirm not just that employees were trained, but that they can perform the task correctly on the floor. Frontline manufacturing workforces are shift-based, on-site, and spread across multiple facilities, which makes consistent performance hard to see and even harder to prove. Training records also need to hold up under regulatory and industry audits, requiring accurate, accessible documentation. Alchemy is built for these realities, with flexible delivery, multi-lingual content, and automated compliance tracking that work in real operating conditions. Alchemy also integrates with HRIS systems, keeping employee and training data connected. Core capabilities: • Extensive course library: 250+ included courses cover food safety, workplace safety, HR, maintenance, and more. Available in 3 languages, with AI translation extending reach to 80+ languages. Add-on libraries offer hundreds of additional courses for workers and leaders, plus professional translations in 13 additional languages. • Site-specific course customization & authoring (Creator): Courses can be tailored with site-specific photos, videos, and procedures, so training reflects each facility's actual equipment, layout, and processes rather than generic scenarios. • Group and individual training delivery (Player): Supports live group classroom sessions, individual eLearning, and on-the-job training, letting companies train entire shifts efficiently while still tracking individual comprehension and completion. • Supervisor observation and coaching (Coach): Enables supervisors to observe employees performing tasks, evaluate performance in real time, and document corrective actions, creating a continuous feedback loop tied to SOPs and regulatory requirements. • Skills and qualification management (Playbook): Tracks which employees are qualified for specific tasks, so supervisors can quickly reassign workers to cover any gaps. • Centralized compliance reporting: Consolidates training data across the organization into one system, reducing the manual effort required from plant managers and safety/QA teams to stay audit-ready. Real Results from Alchemy Clients: • 50–60% reduction in total training time, with onboarding cut from two days to one • 30% reduction in safety incidents, and a 34% improvement in overall safety performance • 30% reduction in quality holds • 84% new hire retention, with a 30% overall improvement in new hire retention With over 25 years of experience, Alchemy partners with 1,500 clients across 7,500 plants, engaging more than 1 million frontline workers to build lasting cultures of safety, quality, and compliance.
