Interseller is a NYC-based SaaS company in the recruiting tech space, recently acquired by Greenhouse Software in October 2021. Since 2016, we&#39;ve been helping recruiting agencies around the world build more predictable client and candidate pipeline. Our platform helps reduce the time it takes to engage with prospects and candidates. **What do you like best about Interseller?**

The sequencing tool is beneficial for following up with the messages we send to our prospects. It is very user-friendly and allows you to connect to your current CRM system, so everything gets updated on your records.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

I wish there were a way to write comments on the profiles, so it is easier to know their answers. For example, if a prospect's response is negative, I could mark them, so I don't message them again. This could also work by having lists where I can put all the contacts that respond negatively. I am currently moving them to a new sequence named DO NOT CONTACT.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was tough for the team to send messages and follow up on them. Now we simply create a sequence, establish the templates for the messages, and Interseller does the rest for us.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

The contact activity Heat Mapping report has revolutionized my open and response rates. Combined with how the ready-made templates have helped me when I've had writer's block on what to A/B test next, or new things to try out. It's a simple UX/UI design that lets you see each email's open rate, the overall campaign open rate, and the book rate. So clean.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

I dislike how uninformative the Contact Details tab is. And I dislike how Interseller isn't just a fully functioning CRM already. I'm basically paying for two email CRMS, but only using one, because one is a CRM and Interseller isn't.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of spending too much time prospecting. With LI Sales Nav, and Close, I can, with one button click, select, import, and email 100 leads. It saved me hours in every day, and days in every week. My pipeline has never been fuller thanks to how Interseller has blown my prospecting potential through the roof. It's seamlessly solved my integration problem, along with saving me time AND creating more sales opportunities for me.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Ability to find emails is the best part of it. Also the ability to put the prospect directly into a campaign from LinkedIn. Interfaces with Zapier and my applicant tracking system
Easy to set up email sequencing.  They added manual step to make calls or  message through linkedIn.
Customer service follows through quickly.
Open to new ideas and have incorporated them into their system

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

You can only sync your contact once to your crm. No ability to update once you do an add.   Oneway sync. From interseller -> CRM/ATS

Great product if you are implementing cold email campaigns

Ability to send out multiple campaigns easily and effectively.   Increased my processing speed.   
Pretty good with email and phone # lookups.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Simplicity of the use. Often while using a product you think "Oh, I wish there was this function", or "Wish this did that" - and with Intersellar's case what you expect to be there is actually there. I can't think of any major functionality I'm missing in the Interseller's workflow.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Nothing comes to mind easily. Maybe something about tracking, or better synchronisation with Pipedrive. Oh, perhaps a calendar view when setting up sequences and number of days after which the subsequent email is sent, i.e. not just number of days but an opportunity to see if this would fall on e.g. Sunday to then adjust it.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual tedious follow ups - not only one doesn't need to keep track of it, but it saves time and effort to type out each email individually. And, deliverability as the emails look more genuine than mass sending.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Super easy to use and intuitive compared to other outreach platforms. Deliverability rates are fairly high as well. Fairly quick customer service.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Less robust for sales focused campaigns since it only does email and not calls or other actions. Also doesn't have a robust list making function and requires you to get contacts from other sources. Pricier than competitors

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cold emailing for sales and recruiting. It automates the process to make it easy and it has a fairly simple way of adding new contacts into my outreach efforts. Saves me time.

The fact that i can find a lot of work emails and add people to many sequences.I can even integrate the software with our CRM which is PCR.

Anything.It is working pretty well for me

Interseller integrates nicely with linkedin, making it relatively effortless to create campaigns with up to a couple of hundred people for sales outreach.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

The email lookups take time, and is a slightly cumbersome process. Also, Interseller does not allow you to easily add in custom steps such as calls.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a time efficient method to launch and manage sales campaigns with up to a couple of hundred respondents to test messaging and book demos.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

I love how Interseller allows you to put together a list of contacts and build out a campaign in a way that you do not have to do the extra leg work or continue to check in and follow up on your own.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

I do not like how they dont add in your contacts in your ats system. They make it hard sometimes to pull all of the infromation, I also do not like how this doesnt provide you phone numbers.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving the extra leg work of having to send emails myself. This is benefiting me by saving me bundles of time on the back end of my client reachouts and contacts.

If you are using one we do not have an integration with, you should be able to do a quick CSV export and import that into your ATS or CRM of choice. (2) Depending on your plan, we do offer the ability to look up mobile phone numbers for your prospects and/or candidates.

How you can mass email without having to include an unsubscribe link at the bottom for automated emails.

How there is no email warming feature. It would help with new outreach better.

Doing outreach in an efficient manner both in terms of time and money. It's benefitting me by giving me alot of my time back and making it easy to use. I would say having this tool helps alot.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

This service is really easy to use in terms of its workflow. You start by finding contacts on Linkedin, Interseller will pull email addresses, and then you can use preset template campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

The user interface is intuitive - but there are a few quirks i.e. you can't delete old campaigns, you can only archive them. In addition, I wish that the product was designed in a more beautiful manner. However, these complaints are relatively minor

Interseller enables us to send customized emails at scale - primarily for attracting new customers, but we also use it to outbound candidates for recruiting as well.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Interseller's sequence building tools, automation, tracking, reporting, and Greenhouse integration all work pretty well. The interface is simple and easy to use. Interseller dramatically decreases the amount of time our sourcers need to spend when doing outreach. It also creates a good workflow with LinkedIn Recruiter that allows us to track when we need to send follow up messages, etc. If you're looking for a budget-conscious sourcing tool that allows your team to do the basic sourcing tasks they need to do, this is a great tool for you!

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

The workflow for sourcing candidates who do not have available emails is a bit cumbersome and there isn't a good solution on Interseller at the moment for this — I appreciate their team's responsiveness and attention to this problem, but I wish a solution could come sooner. Interseller also recently was purchased by Greenhouse, so their team has been spending more time building Interseller on Greenhouse, which detracts from their ability to focus on building new features and improving their existing product. Overall, not much to dislike.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interseller is giving my team a centralized place to build sequences, find contacts, and message prospective candidates. It also empowers my team to get real-time insights into how their messages are performing at a granular level. Before, we didn't have a place to draft sequences and track when and how they were sent — Interseller does a great job providing a solution for us on this front.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Interseller's features and functionalities are easy to learn. Once you sign up, it's easy to start email and reach out campaigns on day one. I especially enjoy the ability to tweak and customize already launched sequences in case one needs to make any changes mid-sequence or adjust an individual follow-up. I also appreciate the ability to easily duplicate and edit previously launched sequences and the ability to see what campaigns are active on a day-to-day basis.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Unfortunately, Interseller does not offer (or I am unaware of) a way to make notes under a contact. While Interseller is not a CRM, it would be nice if there was a way to "tag" or "label" contacts for additional organization, in addition to a "notes" field for quick reference, rather than needing to navigate to an outside CRM.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interseller offers a tool to efficiently run email campaigns that would be nearly impossible to do manually. This means I'm able to spend more time developing campaigns and having conversations with those who respond.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

It integrates with LinkedIn Recruiter platform and when you select a LI profile, it will search for personal and work email addresses for that individual. You can create a sequence in Interseller and put candidates with similar profiles/for a specific search into the sequence, and Interseller will send individual emails to the group. You can personalize the emails, keep track of responses, follow ups, etc.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

It will find an incorrect email about 33% of the time or it will find an old email address for a potential candidate that they no longer check. But you do get a list of bounces so you can go back into Linkedin and send those candidates inmails from Linkedin.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They solve the issue of not having enough Linkedin inmails for recruiting searches. The price is excellent. You get to see who opens, clicks, or ignores your emails. You don't get that with sending inmails through Linkedin. You have to assume it landed in that person's mailbox.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

The sales and support teams have been great. I had a few issues (operator error - aka my fault) that they smoothed out quickly. The team (including the CEO) has reached out to help me get up and running - but in all candor, it's incredibly intuitive. I'm still learning my way around - but I was able to set up multiple campaigns within a couple of hours. 

Most of that time was spent identifying contacts in Sales Nav, adjusting my CSV file to match the template and writing scripts. The actual setup of the sequences once that was done went incredibly fast.

I'm a new small business- and the ability to "automate" a BDR-like role while I'm busy doing other things is incredibly helpful to me.

It's up to you to ensure you have the right messaging, and I felt fortunate to immediately land 1 totally cold meeting on my first try, and a 2nd with an old contact I have not spoken to within a long time. The automation of the emails is truly set/forget.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Not the fault of Interseller, but I have sent out too many emails and that has affected my deliverability. I have throttled down the number and frequency using their tools, and hope that helps moving forward.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a brand new ad agency. While I have been in my industry for over 30 years, and am well known within my circles, I'm using Interseller to "get the word out" beyond my current contact list. It's allowing me to sort through prospects in Sales Nav on LinkedIn, and with literally 1 click - it looks up all of the email addresses I can't see and populates a "sequence" that I set up with outbound messaging. You can adjust the time of day, how often emails go out, days in between emails - etc. It also provides a decent amount of feedback on the dash that shows views, clicks, etc. All in all - insight I would not have if not for the platform.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

We love interseller and it's capabilities.  We use them for automating our emails and managing our many leads.  They are awesome!

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Interseller offers so many things we need.  The simplicity is great and there isn't much anything we dislike.  There are two issues that could use improvement. 1. When using API keys to hook the correct sequence, the ID of the sequence changes when there are changes made to other sequences (adding or removing). We have had to move to finding the sequence by name instead and looping through all of them. 2. The "Unsubcribe" link is always disappearing on the emails and we aren't sure why.

Interseller allows us to connect via API and upload lists of names, emails, phone numbers, etc.  Then we build a custom email for each of our potential leads automatign the process and simplifying our workflow.

- Really simple and intuitive interface
- Easy to set up custom schedules
- Gives necessary alerts before you accidentally message the same people twice
- Good integrations and works well with multiple people on our team

- Some specific screens on the app can feel clunky and could use a UI upgrade
- Would love to see some lower price point plans when you are much lower volume. We may end up evaluating other options for that reason specifically

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

It's nice to have an alternative way to contact talent about jobs I am helping to fill. (Not everyone views or responds to LinkedIn Inmails). It's also great to be able to schedule mass, but customizable emails in advance and track who opens them. It's also nice that it syncs with LinkedIn.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Too many of the numbers and emails provided were incorrect. Also, this may be different now, but when I started using it and had questions my rep was very slow to respond. Lastly, it takes a long time to load the contacts from LinkedIn to Interseller.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me access and filter talent for open jobs more quickly and efficiently.

We use interseller to set up automated campaigns for recruitment and hiring. It's really straightforward, the data insights are great, and it really works. We've hired 20% of our team using interseller, which is WAY cheaper than using a recruiter!

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

It would be great if credits carried over from month to month...or if I could just pay per credit. The monthly fee is reasonable, but the model doesn't work for my company since our needs for the platform are intermittent at best.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring and recruiting! It's so easy to set up a campaign for automated outreach -- it saves a lot of manual effort and allows these campaigns to run automatically. Very convenient.

This is an easy tool for getting email addresses and setting up an email flow to potential candidates. This has been highly effective for us for hard-to-fill roles like engineers.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

There is a lot of manual work to get the folks into the system, it can be a little glitchy, and if you are doing at high volume, the cost can add up. That said, overall worth it!

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use LinkedIn Recruiter at high volume for hiring, but not all candidates are checking their LinkedIn messages. Interseller allows you to land directly in their inbox and to set up a series of follow up emails if they haven't responded.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

I think A/B testing and the general guidance from Interseller is amazing. It's also easy to do email searches, you can download a LinkedIn google chrome extension.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Sometimes the email searching doesn't work 100% of the time, but that's not really the fault of the software. In LinkedIn recruiter, when I want to search using Interseller and click "search all" it can only do it for the 25 accounts on each page, meaning it takes a bit too many clicks to get everything done.

I'm not sure where to begin with all the benefits of Interseller... I've been using it for over 2 years and love it!
-Super user friendly and it won't take you or your team long to get email campaigns/sequences set up
-I love the automation and the ability to use my creativity in campaigns (can insert videos, pictures, etc.)
-It's great at finding personal emails and makes it easy to add sourced candidates to my sequence
-I'm averaging an 85% open rate and 35+% response rate 
-Integrates with most ATS/CRM
-The Interseller team is super helpful and takes any feedback and suggestions into consideration

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Not much that I don't like about the product- the team has been really good about taking my feedback and suggestions.

The manual process of inmailing candidates- I really love that this can be running in the background while I continue to source.

I've loved working with the team at Interseller. I've used them at 2 companies now and won't use another platform because of the email search coverage, UX for building sequences, and data tracking is stellar (no pun intended).

Can't think of anything right now. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember how to archive a sequence, but maybe that's on me as a user.

Simple prospecting/email tool that has an awesome support team. We've used this tool to send out well over a million emails since we first started using it back in 2017. From the campaign management to the email activity tracker to the LinkedIn prospecting tool, we are heavily integrated with this system.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

If you are running as many sequences as we are there are moments where the website can get bogged down with loading. But I have learned how to work around this and it isn't really an issue.

We use Interseller for our cold outbound email sends. We send out around 500,000 cold emails a year, and thanks to Interseller we can do it with ease. And the live reporting for the campaigns really helps us know how each campaign is doing in real time.

Intersellar has made our recruiting efforts extremely efficient across the board. Their ability to seamlessly integrate with Greenhouse and LinkedIn, quickly source candidate emails for personal outreach, and make campaigns highly customizable is second to none. A lot of Intersellar features are very useful and easy to implement. It would be great to see a more detailed view of candidate pipeline data and click rates on hyperlinks, along with more options to aggregate multiple candidate emails to choose from when reaching out.

There are a lot of these types of tools on the market, but not all of them let you customize each step of the process like Interseller. It also is a really cost-effective tool for smaller teams with month-to-month options where you're not locked into an annual contract.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

There's no option to automate Inmail messages or connections which would be nice. We also started using Interseller because of their being purchased by Greenhouse, but that transition is rocky at best. I wish they integrated more with other tools we used to track our sourcing efforts more effectively.

Interseller saves us so much time by automated our email messages to candidates. Pre-scheduled regular follow up is giving us much higher response rates than before.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Interseller is great for prospecting. I can easily find a profile on LinkedIn, then open Interseller's chrome extension to find that person's email and drop them into a drip campaign. I can even customize messages on the spot from the chrome extension. They have great reporting, send emails that look like they're native to gmail, and they even allow you to create custom fields and set tasks for manual followups. Their email finding tool is better than any others I've tried, and they have flexible, month-to-month pricing.

There's nothing I don't like about it. Highly recommended.

Interseller makes me exponentially more productive and allows me to reach prospects via email, not just LinkedIn, without having to use several different tools.

Before interseller, we were snoozing each individual email we wrote to a candidate. When it popped up, we'd then write the follow up. It was a very time consuming and clunky process.

Sometimes emails  get "stuck" and we have to push them. Not sure why, but sometimes campaigns don't run properly. We also hit up against # of email limits sometimes.

Ease of use from csv upload to personalization.  No coding needed.  I can insert first name, company name very easily and also set up a multiple email sequence so I don't forget to follow up on my initial reach out.

I must say there has not been much to dislike.  The only complaint I would have is that it sometimes logs me in to an old email address that I don't use anymore so I need to logout and log back in.

Interseller allows me to automate my outreach. The benefits are that Interseller makes me more productive no matter where I am; plane, train, driving etc.  Email are always going out.

**What do you like best about Interseller?**

Interseller is an incredible tool to source passive and active candidates. It can be difficult to find direct contact information for folks, and Intereseller makes this incredibly easy to do so. I appreciate the fact that it integrates seamlessly with our ATS, Greenhouse. Sourcing is very time consuming and administrative heavy but Intereseller takes the burden off the recruiter to create pipelines, follow up email campaigns in order to work efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

The limited number of outreach you can make can sometimes be a bit difficult to navigate. Considering the amount of money you pay each month, I would want the number of contacts to be a bit higher.

**What problems is Interseller solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interseller is helping us get in contact directly with talent in order to fill "harder," roles for the organization. Since we are able to do this work "in-house," we've mitigated our need to utilize outside recruitment help such as vendors or agencies.

I use several email lookup and messaging services and I find Interseller's metrics and analytics the most helpful, especially being able to quickly identify those who've shown the most interest.

My requirements come in waves so I'm not a fan of the "use 'em or lose 'em" method of billing - would be nice to incorporate a roll over from month to month to better mirror my business activity.

Integration into our CRM and email system, handling of email interruptions (absences, out-of-offices,  holidays), simple to use and the way it ties into LinkedIn for prospecting.

**What do you dislike about Interseller?**

Email lookup isn't always perfect, sometimes you need to double check some of the automatic assumptions and it can't handle non-ASCII characters (e.g. ö,é,à,ç) very well in names. Language variations are a bit tedious in languages which differentiate by gender (e.g. Dear Mr. Smith vs Dear Ms. Smith).

Interseller is helping us get leads to sign up for a demo. It has made our pipeline broader and more robust while cutting down the time spent on outreach. It also helped us introduce a formal process which is fully integrated with our CRM with reliable stats.

Interseller speeds up the prospecting process by auto collecting emails from LinkedIn and setting up the email sequence automatically. I was 5-10x faster using Interseller. Much much better user experience than spreadsheet. Simple and easy to use UI.

Interseller is very easy to use out of the box - there is nothing to dislike. Interseller has personalization fields - if it could sound even more natural/personalized with NLP, that would be a plus. E.g. Personalizing titles or hooks based on the person's profile.

Speed - it is much faster to prospect and outreach potential clients through the interseller platform. Interseller collects emails automatically and reliably, and runs your email sequence for you.

I like that it works very stable and is integrated into my browser. Also that I am flexible with changing the users for a seat. Also the support is very helpful, fast and uncomlicated!

I dislike that there are not all email addresses found and no additional information about the person or additional contact details. Although I can understand that this kind of information is not easy to get and in some countries legally not possible.

Finding emails of prospects quickly without much work, so I can stay flexible and move fast in my outbound campaigns. It helps me to save time in comparison to building an email manually.
