We are able to maintain safe staffing ratios and also allow our staff to input their specific scheduling needs. On the user side, it is extremely simple and both the app and desktop version are easy to navigate. For the schedulers, the algorithms are generally pretty simple but not the easiest. However, most schedulers have a decent amount of experience in dealing with scheduling algorithms and this is by no means an issue. **What do you dislike about Inovalon Schedule Management?** Aesthetically, the layout is a little simple but we’re not on here for a good time necessarily. Sometimes the app requires too many drop down choices leaving the user taking too many steps to perform one simple task, but generally this has been improving. **What problems is Inovalon Schedule Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to use this program to fill staffing needs for an entire emergency department. The system is used almost entirely Hospital-wide, and can easily allocate for large numbers of employees. ### 4. They can see what our needs are based on day, shift, and even unit/area. Employees are able to trade shifts, obtain coverage for days off, etc. **What do you dislike about Inovalon Schedule Management?** There's nothing we don't like about shifthound; we only wish we had found it and utilized it sooner. **Recommendations to others considering Inovalon Schedule Management:** This is definitely worth a shot if you're in need of software that can help fill PRN coverage needs at a hospital-like facility. **What problems is Inovalon Schedule Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to have a much higher percentage of the shifts we need coverage for covered because employees can see what's available ahead of time and plan their schedules accordingly. We no longer have to send out daily emails hospital-wide asking for individuals who are willing to pick up needed shifts. ### 5.
