What do you like best about Innovative Employee Solutions (IES)?

What I like best about Innovative Employee Solutions (IES) is how easy it is to manage temporary employees through the worksite portal. Everything is in one place, so it keeps things organized and saves time. I also appreciate the communication between the account manager, payroll specialist, and HR team. It makes a big difference knowing you can reach out and get a clear answer pretty quickly.

Another plus is that IES handles the full process for temp employees, from onboarding like background checks and references to offboarding. It takes a lot of the admin work off our side. We really just need to add them into the system and communicate any changes, and IES takes care of the rest.

We also haven’t had to deal with any integrations on our end, which has made things simpler. So far, we’ve been happy with the pricing and the overall performance of the portal.

What do you dislike about Innovative Employee Solutions (IES)?

With the new timekeeping system, the overall user interface does look cleaner, which is a nice improvement. However, it’s not as easy to work with as the previous version in terms of functionality.

I work closely with managers and employees to make sure time is submitted, approved, and paid on time, so the limitations stand out in day-to-day use. There’s currently no option to filter by manager or location, which makes tracking employees more time-consuming. It would also be helpful to have more options for reporting and visibility for managers and HR admins, especially with additional filters and reporting tools.

Another challenge is that I’m not able to update or add time directly. I can only reject entries and have the employee go back in to fix and resubmit, which slows down the process.

Overall, while the interface looks better, I’d love to see more flexibility and functionality added to support reporting and day-to-day management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Innovative Employee Solutions (IES) helps us manage temporary employees and contractors in a more efficient and organized way. They handle key areas like payroll, benefits, and onboarding, which takes a lot of administrative work off our internal team.

The portal makes it easy to manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to termination, all in one place. This helps keep everything consistent and reduces the amount of back-and-forth needed. Their support team is also very responsive, which makes it easier to resolve questions and keep things moving.

Overall, using IES has simplified how we manage part-time and temporary workers, allowing our team to stay focused on other priorities while still ensuring everything is handled properly and on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The collaborative partnership and responsiveness from the GTS-IES team. IES leadership, along with our Account Management team/Employment Specialists—especially Miranda M.—have truly stood out for their proactive approach, attention to detail, commitment to finding solutions, and high level of engagement. Their prompt follow-up on backgrounds and compliance matters has clearly led to faster turnaround times. Improved communication and accuracy have made onboarding more efficient and have reduced the need for repeated follow-ups. The team's elevated consistency has resulted in a smoother and more dependable experience for both GTS staff and contractors.
