As an owner I've always hated the power inbalance as I prefer to think that we're all working towards a common goal. However I understand that some employees may be reticent when it comes to giving their opinion. We use it for "ask our CEO anything" and he addresses questions at our All-Hands. We also use it for anonymous feedback, and we also created a separate anonymous ethics hotline to continue upholding our culture and values as a company.
