I love how accessible ImportYeti makes customs data. Before this. The visual relationship graph is my favorite feature it makes it incredibly easy to see exactly who supplies my top competitors and who those suppliers work with. Honestly, there isn't much to dislike given the value it provides. Sometimes the search function requires you to be very specific with the company name (LLC vs Inc), or the data might be slightly delayed because it relies on US Customs updates, but that is standard for this industry. I’m currently very satisfied, so instead of listing “dislikes,” I just have a few suggestions for future growth. First, while the North American trade data is flawless, it would be incredible to expand that same level of detail to truly global coverage. Given ImportYeti’s track record, I’m confident they’ll get there step by step. Second, I’d love to see faster update cycles. The current monthly updates already provide vital information, but moving to a bi-weekly (every 15 days) schedule would make this tool absolutely unbeatable. What I like best about ImportYeti is the visibility into real import activity. The search is incredibly fast and the data is actually organized. Most sites that pull from customs records are a mess, but here I can just type in a brand and see their entire supplier list immediately. I can see how many containers they brought in, BOL numbers, container numbers, addresses, phone numbers, and websites. The columns are super customizable and you get unlimited exports. I would have wanted ImportYeti to support us in more of our daily operations. As time went on, I discovered it was limited to determine any material suppliers to main tier-1 suppliers. I understand the platform wasn't intended for that. Overall it's been a useful tool in my toolbox per say. The ability to bookmark suppliers is useful, I would have wanted a way to bookmark key suppliers in localized supply chains for other purposes or presented data to my executives. Having access to company BOL data, along with the supply chain maps, has been a game changer. It’s helped me dive deeper into my research and really improve the quality of my work.

Also, most of the research can be done on a single page or on an extra page if needed, which is very convenient. I like how detailed it is, so I don’t have to open additional tabs of the same website to find more information. Most of the relevant details are right there in front of me. The contact section at the top of a company's page doesn’t always include all the information. I often have to search for the company separately on Google to find their website.
