What I like best about Imperva Cloud Data Security is its comprehensive visibility into sensitive data across cloud environments. The platform makes it easy to discover and classify data automatically, which is crucial for staying ahead of compliance and security risks. What’s most helpful is the real-time monitoring and risk analytics—you get actionable insights without having to dig through noise, which saves a lot of time and enhances decision-making. The main upside of using Imperva CDS is the confidence it provides. You know where your sensitive data is, who’s accessing it, and whether it’s at risk—across multiple cloud platforms. What I dislike about Imperva Cloud Data Security is that the initial setup and integration can be somewhat complex, especially in environments with diverse data stores and legacy systems. It may require close coordination with Imperva support or professional services to get everything running smoothly. The least helpful aspect is the user interface, which could be more intuitive. While the platform is powerful, navigating certain features or reports sometimes feels less streamlined than expected. The main downside is that advanced features may take time to fully leverage. We are engaging the item for all of our SQL data set servers across the entire association. It primarily serves as a consistency tool for disclosure and HiTrust verification. According to our association's rules, any new SQL data base that is set up must have an Imperva information security professional installed on the system. Creating the specialists can be undoubtedly difficult if you are inexperienced with it. It can take a very long time to save after each and every change made to an expert throughout a design. Imperva is perfect to screen when new clients access an information base and will screen when there are unapproved clients or movement is happening. Imperva isn't appropriate to decipher regardless of whether an action is unapproved. The chairman must be know all about what the association decides as fortunate or unfortunate traffic. Imperva tool is helping us to combat and defend against this log4j vulnerability. we could see attempts by malicious threat actors attempting to exploit this vulnerability through our organization's CAP websites, but the WAF is doing as expected and blocking these attempts. In many cases, the CVE’s which associated with the attack (these are related to the log4j vulnerability), and it provides verification that the WAG has blocked 100% of these attempts. Example: We developed an Angular APP, but we could not apply the minification because the WAF site is configured to optimize and minify. However, minification is a must-have for Angular apps, and not using it defeats the purpose of the Angular app in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Imperva Data Security Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you? Our company was exposed to a newly discovered zero-day vulnerability with Apache Log4j2 known as Log4Shell last year. We took several measures and actions that we were doing to prevent exposure to this vulnerability. Some of the remediation measures are as follows - 1. Leverage Waratek ARMR patch to virtually patch systems 2. Enable Log4j settings according to Hurricane Labs' suggestion - Log4j2 versions 2.10.0 and greater have a formatMsgNoLookups property which will mitigate the vulnerability if enabled. If this setting does not break anything in your application, it is recommended to enable it. 3. Upgrade Log4j 4.
