We provide easy-to-implement services for digital identity verification across the Nordics (and soon the rest of Europe). Partnering with Swedish BankID, Danish MitID, Finnish FTN, Norwegian BankID and Freja eID.

**What do you like best about IDkollen?**

The best thing about IDkollen is that it's so easy to get up and running. We mainly make use of their APIs and the setup is literally done within the hour if you're familiar with web APIs.

Secondly I must say that it's worth the monthly fee. The service costs us a couple of pennies more than the monthly cost would be if we'd integrate directly towards BankID, but since IDkollen takes care of everything around hosting, certificates and maintenance, I'd say we save money using IDkollen.

**What do you dislike about IDkollen?**

We haven't experienced any downsides yet.

**What problems is IDkollen solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IDkollen is our single point of contact for when authenticating towards BankID via our many different mobile and web apps.
The amount of code we've had produce is minimal, roughly said 10-20 lines of native C# / .NET code.
If we didn't have IDkollen we would need to integrate directly towards BankID which means that we'd need to:

- code the implementation and make sure to subscribe to API changes
- manage certificates that are required to communicate with BankID (and keep them updated)
- host and maintain the our API server environment (PRODUCTION & LIVE environments)

and we appreciate not having to manage all of this ourselves. Not to forget the security aspects that come along with it.

We're most likely heading for more markets in the future and since IDkollen are also present in Finland, Denmark and Norway it makes IDkollen an obvious chouice at the moment.
