iDeals VDR has been an excellent solution for managing documentation and supporting our audit processes. The platform’s permission controls and robust audit-trail features have noticeably improved our ability to maintain compliance and demonstrate strong document governance during both internal and external audits.

A feature we especially appreciate is the thorough activity tracking. I use it almost everyday and loved that its interface has always been smooth. Didn't really integrate it to any tools I guess, but I notice the uploading speed is definitely fast enough, almost immediate for smaller size files. Can't say much about the worth of the price cause i'm not really involved in the payment but the fact that our management extended the membership for another two months to continue our project must mean that its up to the company's standard.

We had one on-boarding session which was quiter helpful as first-timers, but the virtual room itself is easy enough to be understood on your own after that on-boarding session, so i really appreciate that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oh, I notice that I am not able to upload folders if accessing the virtual room through my Ideals App in my phone. And also cant manage permissions which is not helpful since i also move around for work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve found iDeals to be incredibly easy to use. The automatic indexing handles massive folder structures flawlessly and saves a ton of setup time. Plus, whenever you get stuck, their AI assistant is surprisingly helpful for quick how-to questions about using the VDR, and our assigned Account Manager has been super supportive and responsive from day one. On top of that, the security features are top-notch—things like Fence View to prevent screen grabs and the secure in-browser spreadsheet viewer give us total peace of mind when sharing sensitive models .I can honestly say I've never had any technical issues or glitches using it, so it's highly reliable. Just because the platform is user-friendly doesn't mean it runs on autopilot. For a real M&A deal, you absolutely still need a dedicated project manager to manage the workspace. Between constantly updating granular user permissions for different bidding parties and gatekeeping the Q&A workflow, you need a single point person keeping things organized so the deal moves forward smoothly. My best experience with Ideas DR has been managing groups and how easy it is to adjust permissions. I can set up groups quickly, assign the right permissions, and then the team leads can add documents without having to worry about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn’t much to dislike about the product, but I would prefer the default permissions for a newly created group to be set to the lowest possible rights, with adjustments made only as needed. At times, people sharing confidential information may not be fully aware of the permissions and rights settings, and they can inadvertently share information without the proper protection in place. I love that Ideals Virtual Data Room is a super easy tool to use, with a very simple and intuitive interface.
