## About Ideagen Quality Management
Ideagen Quality Management is a cloud-based quality management system (QMS) that enables quality and operations managers in regulated industries to manage compliance, CAPA workflows, audits, document control and supplier quality across multiple sites from one connected platform. Named a Leader in the Verdantix Green Quadrant 2026, an independent analysis of 14 QMS platforms serving life sciences, healthcare and manufacturing, Ideagen received perfect scores of 3.0/3.0 for AI operations and supplier quality management. AI is embedded into quality workflows from the ground up, not added as a feature layer. Ideagen Mazlan uses an organization's own QMS data to draft policies, guide investigations, flag compliance gaps ahead of audits and track regulatory changes across jurisdictions in real time. What previously took three days of investigation takes three hours. The platform is purpose-built for GxP and regulated environments and reaches 80%+ adoption on the floor. Most QMS failures trace back to the same causes: quality data fragmented across sites, CAPA processes managed in email chains and documentation that is out of date before it reaches the people who need it. Ideagen Quality Management addresses these directly by centralizing quality workflows and automating document version control and approvals, eliminating the manual overhead that creates compliance risk across sites. Core capabilities include: Non-conformance and CAPA management: capture every non-conformance, guide root cause analysis and track corrective actions through to verified closure so the same issue does not recur Document control: automated versioning, approval workflows and full audit trails ensure every site works from the current, controlled version Audit and inspection management: plan, manage and evidence every audit in one place, with AI-driven monitoring delivering 99%+ reduction in audit findings Supplier quality management: monitor supplier performance, manage non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions across the supply chain Training and competency management: track certifications, qualifications and completion status — new hire training time reduced by 40% Regulatory intelligence: multi-jurisdictional regulatory change monitoring with automated alerts and impact analysis Organizations using the platform report 25-40% improvements in compliance audit scores, 50% faster CAPA cycle times and 30-50% reductions in documentation time. Customers include Nuffield Health, Torbay Pharmaceuticals, Fresenius Kabi, Vector Aerospace and Whyte & Mackay. The platform integrates with ERP, PLM, MES and HR systems and is available in cloud and on-premise deployments. Ideagen Quality Management is well suited to mid-market and enterprise organizations in regulated industries managing quality across multiple sites or standards, where fragmented systems and manual processes create compliance and operational risk.

## Ideagen Quality Management Reviews
 ### 1. IQM in the NHS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe S. | R&D Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Improves our QMS infrastructure overnight. The intraoperability between modules is so helpful and supports a good user experience. As something we will use everyday, the system is great. The customer support has been great and the system is easy to use

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Nothing so far- we are in the early stages of adoption but very impressed so far

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better management of our documentation, digital solution to auditing/monitoring and bringing our competencies and assets together

 ### 2. IQM is great for Quality Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It is a great tool for managing quality documents like SOPs and Other types of policies. It has plenty of different functionality such as signing off documents once they have been read which is auditable.
Other things like the support team are great, whether you contact via phone or email responses are quick and help to resolve the problem quickly.
It is a great app that you could easily integrate into daily business life and use it everyday especially if it is a key part of your role. As I use it as a user as well as an administrator I can say that the implemntation of Upgrades for the spftware are second to none and performed quickly. Any issues that arise are resolved quickly by the support team.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I can find the application a little confusing at times which section is next in the process but I don't use the software as a user all the time.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its great for SOPs for the business as staff have to sign off to say that they have read them and IQM provides this solution. All policies, documents, notices and even assets are also stored here.

 ### 3. No nonsense software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie I. | Research And Development Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Having worked with a physical QMS system before, moving to an eQMS in general was a godsend. I am impressed by how streamlined and to the point Ideagen Quality Management is. I'm sure there are other products available, but from my perspective I have never had any issues with the way IQM works. The way that aspects are broken down into categories helps people who are new to working with any QMS develop a better understanding of how everything comes together.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The UI is very fit for purpose but is quite dated. A slightly different look for different modules might make using the software more intuitive, especially for a new user. In addition some of the UI buttons could have better icons, again to make using the software more intuitive.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document approval pathways save a lot of time that would otherwise be spent printing physical copies of documents and handing them to the relevant approvers. The easy traceability for older or obsoleted documents has saved a lot of time and headaches when trying to work through projects that were completed years ago by ex-employees. Overall it is the time saving and reduced complexity that benefit me in my role.

 ### 4. Q-Pulse has a lot of potential

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I like the variety of customization options Q-Pulse offers for Document Control. You can easily customize document types, categories, and numbering systems to fit your organization's numbering system. I also love having approver list templates that auto-fill depending on the document type. Ultimately, I think these are great features.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I wish support was more accessible and offered quicker response times. I often felt like I did not have the support I needed for this system to be functioning within my organization.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QMS systems help our organization manage controlled documents and their revision, approvals, and publication. Properly managed controlled documents enable our research and development processes.

 ### 5. Fabulous Quality Specification Management

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Nothing i dislike, i just wish more companies would use the portal system

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started a new spec role with a company a few months ago, they had over 20+ accounts under seperate user names and login's , i brought this to Idegens attention to see if they could simplify this and within days wrapped up all the customer accounts and placed them under one user name , this made life so much easier for the business and made my life easier on my job role

Regarding your feedback on upload limitations, assigning attributes to documents and the user interface, we are continuously working to enhance our user experience with each release. We understand the importance of these aspects and are committed to making the user experience as smooth as possible. We look forward to bringing you future updates that address these areas.

 ### 9. Great service and product when it was Qualtrax

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The Qualtrax product is an excellent quality management system & more. Great for document control, quality processes and training. An all in one system. What I liked best was the client portal where improvements could be submitted and voted on, then the Qualtax team would pick the top ones to implement in the next year. Allowing customer participation to improve the system and the annual Users Conference.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Ideagen customer service, I have gone through 3 account reps since the takeover and customer service is not as knowledgeable or helpful as they used to be when it was Qualtrax.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paper reduction and tracking processes through workflows and workflow automation.

 ### 10. Could be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sallie T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Everything in one database without having to cross refernce.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Unable to track who opens a specific document and when which is needed for compliance/audit checks. The audit viwer does not track this.
Ideagen do no listen to the customer, see above. I raised a CR for Ideagen (minor typo) in three years it has never been addressed--nothing major but still!
Customer service is great though and responses are swift and helpful.
Incidents and Occurences overally complicated so don't use. Just use NC which isn't ideal.
Transfer to web-based only. Although it looks pretty I'm not a fan.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document control. Storage of documents. Not used for much else tbh as most users don't like the system as it's overly complicated and most of the company have now gone to different database providers.

 ### 11. good produd6

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hakeem K. | sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

streamlines processes, making workflows simpler

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

the Ux could be improved to have a more elegant look to it

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows you to gain complete organisational visibility, easily identify and act on risks, and make the most of opportunities.

 ### 12. Great Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It helps in improving the workflow of the QC department and it keeps the tasks easy. The QC Managers can easily keep a track of their data and get very impresive outputs.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Everything is great, but a bit more support and knowledge material should be given.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helps in streamlining the Quality department and has brought in automation which has really helps in making the tasks easier and faster for our QC department.

 ### 13. A lot of configurable functionality, with some 'interesting' behaviour

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth W. | QC Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Ideagen Quality Management offers a repository for documentation with versioning, approval and sign off. It has audit trails which record modifications to data ensuring compliance with data integrity requirements. The equipment module assists in the tracking and storage of maintenance and qualification activities for equipment allowing ready access to qualification data

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I find the interface can be a bit unwieldy at times. Although it allows a variety of configuration options some things cannot be changed which can lead to compromising the worflow for the user. Where I would expect fields to auto-fill the users information this does not always occur, and the system allows users to sign of approvals on behalf of other users. Some operations which could be automatically completed require multiple user operations where expected behaviour would be for something more automatic. For example closing a record in the CA/PA module requires the user to complete the section for their name, the date closed, and also manually set the status of the record to closed. It would be far more usable if a user were to set the status to closed, and on saving when electronically signing have the closed by and closed date fields auto filled. This would also ensure that there was no discrepancy between the name and date recorded in the record and the name and date of the electronic signature.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen Quality Management solves the problem of securely retaining and controlling our documentation, along with tracking the status of equipment and providing the overall framework for our Quality System change control and deviation procedures

 ### 14. Q-Pulse QMS installation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

We can see the benefits of having modules that link and talk to each other in one software system, allowing a one-stop shop approach to quality system management.
The use of Wizards, giving great ease of use, when raising non-conformances (CA/PA) is great for our 'rank and file' users while team leads and managers can have more open access to actioon and progress them. This prevents confusion for our users.
We have experienced good customer support from our customer success contact at Ideagen, with regular 'check-in' meetings to give and receive feedback.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

We have found that some of the aspects of the modules do not react as we imagined that they would.
Also the restrictions with primary and secondary licensing has caught us out.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It will replace our use of the BSI Entropy system for logging Non-Conformances. By allowing secondary licence access to all staff members it removes the limited licence issue with Entropy and allows everyone in our business to raise issues (in some cases anonymously).

 ### 15. Quite good, caters to many different areas/domains

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veda S. | Cloud Infrastucture Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The fact that it is all inclusive and applicable to multiple departments at our company

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Would appreciate a greater degree of flexibilty in terms of applicability

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us maintain quality at our cloud data infrastucture

**Official Response from Maria Aksiantsiuk:**

> Thank you very much for sharing your feedback on Ideagen. We are happy to hear that you find our solution helpful for different departments. We strive to cater to the needs of various users, it's delightful to know that you find it useful.

 ### 16. QADEX Quality Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Great platform for providing our customers with the required details of our supply. It is useful to have everything under 'one roof' and the system is quite user friendly. Communication from Ideagen Customer Support is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It takes a huge amount of time to feed in the details. As an agent as well as a manufacturer we have a large number of suppliers to us as well as a large number of products which ALL require input into the system. There are areas within the system that are annoying and more time consuming than is neccesary. There are questions where attachments are requested but if you select "No' or "N/A' you still have to provide details as to why there is no attachment or why it is not applicable. Answering N\A should allow a by-pass of that question. You cannot physically enter dates where necessary, you have to scroll through the calendar, month by month, in order to get to the date required. Where the expiry of some documents is 5 or 10 years into the future this can be a pain. In the specification module you cannot by-pass the testing questions (from No. 302 onwards) where a product or ingredient is not tested. This applies not only to the question about whether it is tested, but the subsequent related questions about testing methods / result criteria etc ALSO have to be answered. You have to put an answer regardless and this means selecting 'other' for every test that is not carried out. Question 827 is a repeat of question 754. Questions 1215 - 1216 are repeated again at 1463 - 1464. Question 1462 'Is product suitable for vegans' is repeated 2 or 3 times in the questionnaires.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One stop business tool for supplier, product and specification data. As a supplier it allows the business to keep track of the information we have provided to the customers using Qadex.

 ### 17. Great service and interactive training

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Training aspect of the onbaording process was very helpful to get myself and the other admins set up on how to use q-pulse

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Lack of user freindly smart forms for auditing purposes, I would like to build forms with rules and permissions in a certain structured way for employees to carry out audits however no smart forms avaiable at this time. Could do with taking insperation from safety culture for this.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document management and change control management as well as document aknowledgement.

 ### 18. Quality Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bushra k. | Internal process Auditor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

That it allows us to gain complete organizational visibility

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Nothing much everything was fine. It is user friendly

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since our company is ISO certified so it helps us in that

 ### 19. Great product for a long time now. Due an upgrade.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasant B. | Corporate Aviation Safety Analyst Senior, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The software itself is easy to use and set up. The enterprise-wide implementation of Q-Pulse for us has been very successful. While several new software exists for SMS, Q-Pulse has been doing the job for us for several years now.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Q-Pulse looks and feels old and lacks several features that modern solutions provide. For example, the ability to create fields based on logic would be very helpful. While the people working on customer support are all great, it takes a really long time to fix an issue.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Q-Pulse for Safety Management System (SMS), and it has been very helpful to submit safety reports, conduct risk assessments and investigations, and assign actions.

 ### 20. Great team, excellent customer support.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Good as a central repository for keeping all documentation in one place. Specs are clear with a well thought out layout.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The system needs a better change management facility where changes can be clearly reported. Specs can be too large if not correctly built at the start of the process. Imported to be concise and to the point and not get carried away with too many questions.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our business to maintain all specifications and SAQ in a central repository which can then be easily accessed by multiple sites.

Also has a great back-office support network that relieves some of the precure of chasing suppliers.

 ### 21. Excellent deployment options for an enterprise environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

As a Manager of a busy IT support team, I love how our Ideagen Quality Management instance was easy to deploy and well supported in very complex enterprise IT environment. It was straight-forward to separate our web/front-end and backend database tiers to enable IT to separately manage and appropriately size the environment.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I don't perceive too many downsides. Ideagen Quality Management has become a critical quality management application to support the risk management needs of the business.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and mitigating risks!

 ### 22. QMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivor B. | QHSE Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The system is simple to use and easy to navigate through differenet modules.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Nothing to dislike about the Quality Management System.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All documents can be stored in the system ensuring only current ones are in use.
Also can maintain all Supplier Information

 ### 23. Quality and Reporting management system

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shen v. | Safety Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The software has various modules and is configurable to your liking. You can customise the workflow to your preferences and have the ability to build forms and templates yourself. It also has an easy access management module.

You can also set up workflows for stages with different actions depending on the workflow you need.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The software lacks a proper reporting application for operational staff. In addition, there is no suitable place for administering safety impact risk assessments in line with aviation regulations.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QMS allows for an efficient safety reporting flow.

 ### 24. Q pulse review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sophia b. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

all documentation is savedn and be retri

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

it can be very slow and very basic somet

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

q pulse is helping us transition to an electronic qms which is helpful as all documentation can be retrieved when needed in an audit. in addition to this documents can be saves

 ### 25. Easy enough to use/customizable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna G. | QHSE Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Workflows are easy to maneuver through and easy enough to re-configure once you have practice/training. Reporting functions allow for detailed data analysis so we can implement improvements throughout the organization.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The routing for email actions can sometimes be confusing. Also, data clean-up can be cumbersome during mass changes. Configuring new workflows is cumbersome because of the custom fields settings.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom workflows for various processes within our organization have been set up for clearer visibility and functionality between departments.

 ### 26. Paper management to an eQMS was a time saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I think the most helpful thing about Ideagen QMS is the ability to track all of our quality system in one place. Our laboratory has created a number of custom workflows to fit our needs. This has helped in tracking corrective actions, internal audits, PT samples, training sign offs, and many more. The report feature has also made our audits a breeze to pull information on the spot.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I don't think there are many downsides to using Ideagen QMS. There are a few features we would like to see developed to make processes easier and look forward to hopefully seeing these developed.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen has saved our quality team a lot of time. The ease of creating trainings, assigning SOP readings, and reviewing documents electronically has cut down on the time required to manage these items. It has also helped be able to easily pull reports and monitor employee's training and readings. Since implementing this QMS, our laboratory has been able to significantly build out our quality system and capabilities.

An electronic quality management system that takes away the human error of a paper based system. IQM allows us to keep a single repository of quality records, from deviations, supplier accreditation, quality audit to equipment management, it provides a user friendly way of storing data, accessible to all within the working group.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Ideagen Quality Management sometimes lags in the first instance of uploading an attachment to a record, however this time is very minimal.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to move away from a paper-based system that is very hard to maintain and keep on top of to a system where electronic signatures are used to record SOP understanding, training etc. Making new starter training a much easier process!

 ### 28. New Electronic Doc System for Environmental Lab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The implementation and training process was amazing, being able to go through every aspect of the software and the one on one time to explain each area. The best in class flows are exactly what I need to get the general lab staff on board with this type of electronic process to improve efficiency and documenation within the laboratory.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

So far, I have not encountered much that I am dislike or am discouraged by. Knowing that the technical staff and help functions in the system are readily available make me feel confident in getting this implemented and sustainable in my lab.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This QMS allows our laboratory to go paperless with Standard procedures, corrective/preventative actions, audit trail for revision history and better historical reconstruction of documenation and not relying on paper or an excel spreadsheet to find something. The allowance for emails or reminders is amazing as we are all busy keeping track of schedules, this is a great way to keep people accountable.

 ### 29. Functionable, Bulky, Primitive.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The idea of a centralized QM system is a good idea, and Ideagen sometimes gets things right. Sharing of id numbers is easy; back up systesm for records is the main reason we chose it.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

1. Links sent by email are not helpful as they do not open up the document/workflow from the email, you have to login, copy paste the id and search it yourself.
2. The search function is the weakest search tool I have ever used.
it will show you every workflow that has a document listed first before the actual manual you need.
3. Personnel function takes minutes to load sometimes(dialup slow), and you can’t search by employee number, have to ask HR every time I need to look up an employee number from an audit; not cool during an actual audit trying to show the customer training files.
4. Training Matrix does not allow us to export to csv/excel, does not show graphs or the completion percentage for each station.
5. The approved vendors list: The AVL status will show approved even after the vendor expires, this can cause users to think a vendor is approved, but is not, causing us to be out of compliance if a vendor is used.
6. Corrective Action Requests.
A. The description of the finding does not appear in the Managers side once approved by QA and does not appear until the later phases of the workflow.
B. A visual map at the top showing status of the CAR would help Interested Parties who do not deal with CARs often (think Pizza Tracker like pizza hut/dominos).
C. the font size is infinitesimally small vs the available room on the page. Also, the fields move around from one phase to the next, Root cause is at top on one page, then drops down below making it hard to find when referencing for Corrective action response in the next phase.
8. CORRECTIVE ACTION COLUM: cannot sort from inbox by station/customer, must search every time you need specific CAR.... Jeez!
9. Audits vs CARs.
A. When cars are created in the audit workflow, it does not keep track of the Qualtrax Id of the cars; this is super frustrating when doing research or providing objective evidence to customers/FAA.
B. When the audit is complete, you cannot see any of the reports, documents, information about the audit anymore. A separate report must be run to see some of the data. If this data is gone, it may cause us to be out of compliance with records retention requirements.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Records requiremnts mainly, and accessable manuals, forms, et c.

 ### 30. QADEX Ideagen - A great solution!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Being able to have all my product specs in one place and share them with customers is a boon to my business and to customer relations. I find QADEX easy to use, and the service staff are very helpful indeed if I do need to call them with a query. I'm a regular user, and the interface is easy to understand and, based on the complexity of creating specifications for food, very comprehensive.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Sometimes the system will freeze - make sure you have a good internet connection!

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily share and collaborate on specifications with customers.

 ### 31. Revolution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

EQMS has been a revolution for myself and my business. The ease of use and ready access on comptuer, tablet or phone is a major selling point.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Unfortunatley the no supply of a 'cancelled' option for audits, means a higher amount of admin is required than usually required.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EQMS helps to solve the major problem of ensuring staff are aware of new and updated documents. We also use the Audit Manager module to evidence machine maintenance history.

 ### 32. Early days but so far so good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

User friendly structure that (so far) meets our Quality requirements

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The modules don't integrate with each other

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're building a QMS for the future

 ### 33. Ideagen Quality Management Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Quality Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

This software is easy to use for managing documents and the help guide makes creating new workflows easy.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The document revision process does not allow for easy colaboration during a revision. A user must check a document in and change the editor for another person to apply input. Also a document change log (to note future revisions needed) could be benificial to the software.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The are revising the inbox feature.

 ### 34. Great support, currently convoluted product (qpulse 7.1.4)

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | IT Infrastructure and Data Manager at Edinburgh Imaging (QMRI), Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The support you recieve is great, lots of quick help and a willingness to work through problems. The software is very flexable with a high degree of customisation available and is robust when set up correctly. Our radiochemistry provision heavily relies on this software to do their work.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The version we use was quite labour intensive to set up. It isn't always user friendly with a sometimes unintuative UI.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quality management system for our radiochemsitry provision. The biggest benefit has been is that it largely takes care of itself with little administrivate overheads other than setting up new users etc.

 ### 35. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

All documents you need are in one place.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Having to put your username and password in to sign documents.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to print documents out as they are all available to view.

 ### 36. Qualtrax Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raji R. | PM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

This is one of the best tools for Accreditation management. In our organization, we have to accredit the hospitals for the patient care. In that, we use this tool to help the hospital to comply the standards and best practices of what they need to do. We wanted a tool for customers that is customer friendly and have a pleasant experience using this and we chose to go with this Qualtrax as it has all the features one could need for the accreditation - be it a documentation management, process related - this tool serves everything. One of the important highlight of this product alert the customers when they failed to meet the standard or som exceptions. So they can track and address them efficiently. Without addressing the issues, the hospitals cannot be accredited. It is a great compliance tool.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

First time learning curve. Although the tool is easy to use. Our organization customers are not technically savvy to understand the system easily enough at least for the first time. This requires some training until users feel comfortable using the product.

Another note of the product is that we also have learning courses offered to the respective hospital courses. We don't have a direct way to include this feature with in the tool. We have to manage that in a different tool and then link to Qualtrax.

Brand customization was also challenging. It was not easily customizable specific to company's brand

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an established process to accredit the hospitals. in that, this tool is the driver for the customers to support the documentation, standards and they go through the process by using the tool to get the accreditation. Again, we mainly offer this product for customers to manage and submit the application to get their accreditation.

 ### 37. Fairly new to the product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It is an easy way to track our quality system documents with revisions and verifications.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The initial training was fantastic, but the follow up trainings that we purchase are not up to par with our needs.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaced a tracking spreadsheet for our revisions of all our quality system documents including SOPs, forms, coversheets and bench sheets.

 ### 38. Great Software for Quality Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cara M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

All our Quality Management information is kept in the same place, it is easy to navigate/filter and find what you are looking for. Using web-based links makes it easy to link files in other documentation and ensure it is always the correct version that is referenced.

It breaks down your workload, giving you a clear list of what immediately needs your attention and can be configured to regularly remind staff when they have an outstanding action.

Customer service has also been responsive if we have ever had an issue.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Not the most visually appealing software but it does the job and gives you the information that you need at any point so this isn't a huge concern. The training and competencies module could do with some further refinement to make it easier to use.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Maintaining our documentation and version control
- Monitoring and assigning non-conformances
- Competency and training requirement capture
- Asset management (maintenance and calibration)

Has supported our organisation achieve ISO9001

 ### 39. Not ideal for our business

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brisi N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I like the idea, that if you are able to get it to work for your business it is great.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The different features don't talk to each other very well. It is doesn't really work for what we need it to do.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. Its been close to two years and we haven't gone live.

 ### 40. MegaChem Review of Ideagen QM

Very able and helpful Customer Service (Kerry you are a superstar!) Very easy to step back if you miss something and reminders very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

sometimes the system does not recognise your comments and you are unable to move on with completion of a customers questionnaire. Could also do with reminding that not everyone is a chemist!

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping MegaChem (UK) to keep customers informed and updated in a timely manner so that there is no lengthy delay in sending and receiving of documents

 ### 44. Ideagen - Slow to use and regular glitches

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The support team are swift and efficient, polite and helpful in all situations.Kerry is our main point of contact and she is always prompt and positive in sorting out any glitches.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It is slow and difficult to complete, not easy to complete lengthy specification questions. The delays occur when flicking between pages. These are common and make progress slow. Visually it is not always easy to navigate. Efforts to change the name from Qadex to Ideagen would have been better spent in fixing the problems.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ahve regular glitches that require support where the system freezes. Support are always helpful but the system remains the same. The glitches occur when saving and moving on to the next page. This is particularly slow or often freezes.

 ### 45. Works well but user interface is hard to navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The software is stable, and once a person figures out how everything is setup and works, it becomes easier to use. Search is good, and the viewer for documents is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The UI is hard to get used to, and acknowledging documents is a pain to do due to the clunkiness. There is a steep learning curve.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to distribute and view quality documents across the entire organization.

 ### 46. Easy to use and happy to help

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis C. | Production Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It covers a range of modules and a lot of the information you would need is found in one place. It also allows for a lot of customization meaning you can tailor what you can see and what others can see.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The training courses module. I find it frustrating that you have to complete a training course for it to show up on a person's record. I would like to be able to see training courses that are planned or in work.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It emails people when documents need reviewing or training courses are coming up so you don't have to chase them. I also like how you can related documents meaning our production workers can find documents that are to be used together a lot easier.

 ### 47. Initially happy but poor service when needing development support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wayne A. | Integrated Management Systems Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

the software has customisable features and the modules link well together in some places. the recent intro of the dashboards is great however this is in the infancy of implementation.
the calibration module, document and capa modules are the modules that appear to have been developed the most and contain the least number of faults, glitches and issues.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The layout is massively outdated and clunky
Development do not listen to the customer feedback
The people and training modules are not user friendly and do not produce reports or training matrices that are easy to read or intepret
there is alot of improvements needed to make it a user friendly piece of software
the Analysis side is very poor and cannot be used easily to display bottlenecks or issues within the system such as open complaints by stage.
Support team are quick at responding however the solutions for tickets are not matching the expectations of the company. Some tickets have been left in development for over 12 months with no plan of implementation.
The helpguides and help section of the website is not helpful for basic users, these require interpretting by an experienced user and then rolled out multiple times within the workplace.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

doc control, CAPA Management, change management calibration management

 ### 48. Great product with new easy features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I think the new cloud Q-pulse is great, with no use limits. The product also now has the ability to carry out audits and raise non-conformances and CAPA's while doing the audit, saving a lot of time and effort. Documents can also be attached as evidence, again saving time.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I feel the time taken to implement new flow charts is time-consuming and can take effort. There are no set flow charts or examples from other users, which would be helpful.
You also can not set the flow chart for document review to another person if you are the author - there should be an if person wrote the document review should be person 1 or person 2.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The process of document control, audits, non-conformances, keeping all EQA data and reviewing them. It fits all our needs currently. It has made our business review more documents and able to find and raise non-conformance easily and resolve issues.

 ### 49. Excellent Quality Management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Many pre-set fields and the ability to customize to add more

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Sometimes adding or removing persons do not work like they should. Search functions also do not give the correct document on some tries

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document control, document tracking, nonconformity handling. This benefits my QMS especially when audited by a third party

 ### 50. Brilliant customer service nd great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** julie D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Very helpful customer service and a great product

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Cost, of course. It is always the price of something, but the value can be seen.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document control is far more controlled, the audit scheduling is far easier and links through to the CAPAs.
