"BlueworksLive Rocks!"

What do you like best about IBM Blueworks Live?

I like that the process in BWL is one thing, and can hold a variety of information, but that it's all connected. I also like the ease of which you can start a new process, especially if you are in a meeting or brainstorming session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Blueworks Live?

The glossary still feels a bit convoluted, as in I think you have multiple terms for inputs, stakeholders, etc. It has been a while since I've looked at it, but last I looked it still doesn't seem to be all that useful. I would love to be able to use it as a glossary for my process, but also share terms across all processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Blueworks Live?

The Blueworks Live platform provides a clean and clear user interface that makes it more accessible and immediately valuable to a greater cross-section of users. The ability to collaborate around processes is especially valuable where most processes are at their most valuable between many different functions in a business. What do you dislike about IBM Blueworks Live?

I would like to see better integrations with the BPM On Cloud platform, as the inability slows down the potential to start exploiting the process you have defined. If it could provide a lighter weight, more accessible participation for the wider organization at large. The licensing between both On Cloud BPM and Blueworks Live also proves slightly problematic and could be more responsive and proactive for customers to get up and running. What do you like best about IBM Blueworks Live?

When faced with the challenge of documenting business processes within your organization, the most common issues you will encounter are a lack of easy collaboration and lack of standardization. Blueworks Live solves both of these challenges. Gone are the days of sending emails labeled SalesProces_Fall_evanEdit_v3.vsd. Instead Blueworks live provides an online collaborative environment where process owners can document their processes with a real-time reflection of changes. Business users from around the world can work on the same processes with virtually no lag. From a standardization perspective, Blueworks Live enforces BPMN 2.0, so not only will all of your processes look the same, they'll be ready for import into your favorite RPA or Workflow engine. For nomenclature, every tagged attribute to a process item is searchable, mergeable and reportable. Meaning if one group calls it Sales Team, another just Sales, you've got a centralized way to correct those differences as well as an easy interface to report on the different activities the Sales team performs. What do you dislike about IBM Blueworks Live?

Blueworks was designed for easy use and adoption, so there's a little bit of a gap when it comes to the version control. It has it, but doesn't make it easy to have approvers for new versions of a process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Blueworks Live?

Auto align and various additions of parallel, inclusive, exclusive gateways Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Blueworks Live?

1. One cannot actually move boxes to make it more presentable; when it comes to complex processes, it just makes it very complex for anyone to understand. 2. Color coding of the lines should also be available. 3. Should be able to customize the look and feel of the map (from color coding to box placement). 4. When a box is connected to multiple boxes and if one tends to delete, then the entire face of process maps suddenly, and it gets out of hand at times to adjust the boxes. Ideally, the lines should look to reconnect to the next box as per sequence; rather, they should stay there and let the user create another box and draw back these lines to the new replaced box. 5. Also, should have an option to replace the shape with any other type of activity, rather than creating a new box and then aligning all the lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
