iA Writer Reviews & Product Details

The features that make iA Writer stand out with respect to similar alternatives are:

- iCloud support

- clean, simple, beautiful interface, distraction free interface

- perfect integration with iOS app

- very up-to-date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a little costly but the price is acceptable, given the benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much to like, really. iA Writer is essentially a thought pad. Aside from it's Fountain support it is not very unique. I tried it on and off for a period of six months and never found it to be essential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The cloud integration could use some improvement. Overall, it doesn't really have any standout features. Pages is a similar app that does many of the same thing, but it also does a lot more. Given the choice between the two, I would choose Pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
